I always order prosciutto on pizza and that was the first time I have ever seen it crumbled and sprinkled on top which completely ruins the whole point of ordering prosciutto... also I ordered regular pizza sauce and instead got a bed of like diced tomatoes?? My boyfriend and his mom also ordered a regular pizza off the menu and they also just got a bed of tomatoes instead of sauce. We were really excited to come here but it sadly was a huge let down. If I could give this place negative stars I would. This was an absolute disaster. Nearly 2 hours and two pies were made wrong. No one came to check on how we were doing or to try to make it right. When we asked about where the remake of the pie was, we were told that there were other orders ahead of ours. Absolute disaster the food was marginal at best and the service was absolutely deplorable. Joshua came over who was the manager he took off two of the pies, but that doesn't make up for a waste of a few hours and a great experience. We were expecting to have here. Restaurant is barely 10% full. I can't imagine if we came other than on a Wednesday night and it was actually busy. Stay away from this place. read more

Supposedly, this is Colorado pizza. The only distinguishing characteristic I can make out is the twisted crust that is apparently intended to be dipped in honey. It's an aesthetically pleasing pizza, but the taste and texture is nothing to write home about. The crust is cardboard-like, and combining it with honey didn't do much for me. Tried this place on a recommendation of a friend. Stopped in on a Wed with a group of 30 after whitewater rafting. Needless to say we were hungry and thirsty! They were sadly understaffed and took very long to bring our drinks and food. Waited almost 30 mins for bar drinks and appetizers and over an hour for our food. By the time the food arrived we were barely hungry as we had been munching on appetizers and drinks. Refreshingly the staff were kind and apologetic and said the kitchen was understaffed for our group. I'm happy to say the food was really delicious and we were all happy with our entrees. The hearty arty spinach dip baked in a pizza crust is a must have! The calzone was cheesy and had lots of pepperoni. Love the honey on each table to finish off with the pizza crust. A fun touch! Would recommend the food just a little disappointed in the long time it took to get served. Luckily we were on vacation and in no hurry. I'm sure if you're a smaller group you'll be fine. My friends and I ate here a few weeks ago and we loved it! The server was super kind, made us feel welcome and even cracked a few jokes which we loved. I got a custom made pizza and it was honestly so good. The twisted crust along with the honey felt like an extra treat and made it so fun. Came to Beau Jo's on a date night after quickly learning that most restaurants in old town require a reservation or a two hour wait. Beau Jo's had only a 30 minute wait so we said why not? We went for a walk while we waited and were texted when our table was ready. The restaurant is actually quite large and great for a night out with friends. After being seated, it was a bit for our server to come to our table. We ordered drinks and an appetizer right away and they came out shortly afterwards. Our server explained the differences in the crusts for the pizzas and what she recommended. She then said shed come back and disappeared for a while before we ordered our pizza. I'm glad we ordered an appetizer as the pizza also took a long time to come out. For our appetizer we ordered the stuffed mushrooms and they were pretty tasty, but definitely needed parmesan cheese. The pizza we chose was the Lil' Italy with salami. This was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it! They are a bit pricey, but overall very tasty and worth it. I love the Beau Jo's brand. We go to the Idaho Springs location nearly every time we are in town to ski Loveland. However, this was an absolutely terrible experience on Wednesday, 11/27. Our party included 6 adults and one baby--my one-year-old son. We ordered a kids cheese pizza, a sandwich, a large specialty and a medium pepperoni and sausage. We arrived at 4 P. M. on a Wednesday. How was the food? Well, I couldn't tell you. My wife and I had to leave with our son after waiting an hour and fifteen minutes with no food and no update from our server about the expected wait. Our son grew increasingly hangry, as babies do, and we had to leave so that he could actually get dinner before bed. She never spoke to us, but at us, and her training is clearly lacking. I heard about this place from a local pizza place at home. We traveled 600 miles to the area and tried it. I would give it ZERO stars if I could. I told the server what I wanted on my half and how I wanted the other side for my wife. I asked if the pizza red sauce was seasoned hot. She said it wasn't. When the pizza came out it was all the way I wanted but not the half for my wife. Instead of tomato sauce like EVERY pizza has they used cold sliced tomatoes. I had her make another one. This one was more correct but there was NO tomato sauce on it at all. Instead of hamburger being sprinkled on the cheese as all pizza is made there was a bed of it under the cheese making the cheese topping fall off when picked up. I asked for black olives. I think they dumped a bucket of them on there. At least the soda was good. read more

I am constantly on the hunt for the best pizza in Colorado. Beaujo's is something I come back to time and time again. It is not your typical Pizza pie, the mountain style is made with a very oversized crust that is usually dipped in honey. The sauces and toppings are fresh and delicious. Their ranch is also phenomenal which I think is essential in a pizza restaurant. One of our favorite things there is not even the pizza but the cranberry walnut salad. We usually will get one to split as an appetizer because it's just that good. I am not the type of human that generally order salads at a pizza restaurant but this one is definitely worth the shot Wheelchair accessibility: parking is often a problem in downtown Fort Collins but once you get to the restaurant, it's not too bad there's two doors to get in but enough room to maneuver between them but no buttons.
