I have been there twice. Both times I was asked to leave because someone in my party was without their ID. The first time, it was someone aged 24, and although the bartender recognized and knew this person, she waited until AFTER we ordered drinks to make us leave. I get it, she was close to 21 and the establishment could have been compromised if anyone from the liquor board had come to check. The second time however, I was with someone aged 55. He looks 55. This is a someone who would have only ordered top shelf, and would have frequented the place. There is absolutely no way that anyone could confuse him for under 21. Ever. Not even under 30. It's a shame, but I guess they don't need our business. Seems poor form to put bad will into your community that way, but from the other 1 star reviews here, it's clear these business owners don't mind. I am assuming, after all the poor reviews, that they have given their staff the authority to turn away high paying customers, so while I don't get their business model, more power to them. read more

If you go to a karaoke bar, you expect to enjoy music, stand up, and dance. Apparently, the current karaoke DJ here missed the memo on what his job actually is. He acts like he's policing a library rather than hosting a weekend crowd. He gets visibly upset and complains when patrons start having fun and dancing to the songs, completely killing the energy of the room. To make matters worse, the staff backs up his miserable attitude. If you question why you're being told to tone it down when you're just enjoying the music responsibly, you get hit with defensive customer service and accusations of being "too drunk" just for standing up. A karaoke night is only as good as its host, and right now, this guy is a total fun-sponge. Management needs to replace him with someone who actually likes music and people, because the current setup is a joke. Avoid karaoke night here until they hire a DJ who knows how to run a real party. read more

Been here multiple times for Friday and Saturday karaoke have had good experiences overall with service and a fun time for a dive bar. Bartenders are always kind and the bar food is decent late night pub eating. The crowd is typically diverse, older, and welcoming to military and younger folks. However, hesitant to come back after last Saturday karaoke night. Came with a large group of 15-20, open tab, beers and food, generous tips as usual. But we were told we were being obnoxious and spilling on people. I asked the groups around us if we spilled on them and they said we didn't and they weren't sure who told on us. Turns out it was the karaoke DJ, a 70+ male who has no family to go to, so he spends his time as a small dive bar dj. He was upset we were standing up and dancing to the songs. This isn't the library buddy guy. Dude is in the wrong profession and a sad excuse of a person. The other sad oart was the lady who told us to quiet down working there had an attitude. I asked her kindly why we were an issue if we didn't spill on anyone and were just enjoying the music. She told me I was drunk, she's sober, and to stop arguing or get out. I wasn't arguing or raising my voice, I was just trying to explain the accusations were a bit much for a karaoke bar. I'd happily replace the DJ for half of what he costs if it means the grumpy DJ doesn't get hired there and the lady with an attitude learns about customer service. read more

came here with family on a saturday night for karaoke and pool. there was a good crowd of people in for karaoke, and the pool tables were mostly open because of that. drinks are good, ordered their chicken strips which were actually delicious despite being a bit over salted. definitely recommend the fry sauce! it's a standard pub, higher ceilings than some of the other dingier options around makes it way more comfortable. outdoor space is okay, very basic. enjoyable atmosphere and sweet bartenders. i also bought one of their hoodies, which is perfect and good quality! we had fun and a group of 8 of us were able to hang out comfortably. they also have a dart board, and there are two different pool tables. read more

The bartender was not nice after I told her I am following Weight Watchers and I ordered Nachos instead of fried food on their menu. She tried to make me feel bad about what I ordered. After that happened, my 2nd drink, she cut me off. I didn't leave a tip for them because I was made to feel like a bad person for ordering food that was the only zero points item on their menu. Get over yourself. I'll never go back to this place again. Horrible nachos bthwy... if you're going to insult a girl for being on a diet, then maybe you should join a gym and stop packing on the weight yourself. I have never felt so ripped off in my life at a dive bar.. I used to come here when I was in military and it was a great place.. now they split out the bill for ever individual thing.. asked for a little more orange juice.. they charged me 50 cents and they split out shots from the drinks... this is a dive bar and they charge for higher bar prices... unbelievable.. read more

Been coming here off and on for a few years now. The bartenders are always very friendly and never question my crazy googled drinks. We usually go on Saturday karaoke nights. The set up they have is super user friendly and i live that i don't have to flip through pages and pages of a book to pick out a song, they use an app or you just walk up and tell the KJ and he will add you in. read more

we have been there 4 times for lunch now and each time we were met with friendly service, fresh and abundant food portions. (did I mention the portions are big?). The food is unabashedly standard pub fare - burgers, fries, sandwiches, nachos, etc. but is tasty . All in all it has cold beer, good food, and plenty of it. Solid three stars for this pub! The servers are great and super attentive. I have eaten here a few times and the food is dependable. It is a regular bar for Submariners, Sailors, Shipyarders, and the rest of the locals. This makes for good people watching, especially bachelorette and bachelor parties as they roll through on bar crawls. I would add it to your regular night out rotation for sure. read more

Comfortable little pub. I come for the tasty food so I can't speak about liquor options. In fact, I enjoy the food so much that willing to overlook the issue I have with their non-alcoholic drinks. I'm really not thrilled about their regular beverage prices. Pop, and an especially Iced tea, is priced much higher than other business and they offer roughly one refill. I like a lot of ice, so not sure what that does for my refills. I imagine it has something to do with discouraging patrons from buying one coke and sitting there all day. If that is it, THEN FIND ANOTHER WAY. RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ENFORCE A MINIMUM PURCHASE OR MAX TIME OR SOMETHING. I'll be gladly sign-up for unlimited beverage club membership if that is what it takes. I'llpay the high price, just make it worth it. I really like the people here, food is good and worth the money. Just find a way for me to enjoy my iced tea without feeling like I need to conserve it while I eat. BTW, The roast beef chedder dip is what dreams are made of! My cousin is visiting from Puerto Rico and he was denied admittance because he showed an ID from Puerto Rico. They requested his passport. I tried to instruct the bartender that PR is a commonwealth of the US and if you are born there you're an US citizen. They still denied him admittance. I'm a business owner here in Silverdale and I have gotten the worst service at this establishment. The bar is not packed...me and my buddies buy a pitcher and ask if we can get a channel changed so we can watch the big game. We are told "maybe." We wait a little while longer and politely ask again and are told "it's not a high priority for me at all." I gave them one more chance and asked a little while later and again they wouldn't change a channel on one of their 5 TVs. We left our beers and will not be back. If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. My husband and I are moving to California soon, and a group of our friends decided to get together as kind of a 'going away party'. There were 10 of us. Half the group showed up at 6:45 to get a table; we arrived just before 8. Since we hadn't eaten yet, we ordered drinks (a Hefewiezen & Diet Pepsi) and dinner (French Dip & Rueben) immediately. At 8:30, we still hadn't gotten our food - the place wasn't that crowded - so we inquired. We were told that a group of 16 had ordered right before us and this was the reason for the delay. Whatever, that's cool.. we understand. At 8:45, a waitress comes around asking for the cover charge. We all kind of look at her and she explains that the band is going to start at 9 and there's a $3 cover if we're going to stay. We explain that our group had been there for two hours and that nobody had said anything about a cover charge. We didn't want to pay it, especially since we were in a completely different room from the band. She told us we either had to pay or leave. We told her we'd ordered dinner & still hadn't gotten our food; she told us we could eat and then leave. The group decided this was the biggest load of bullshit we'd ever heard, so we told the waitress to go ahead and cancel our food order and we'd pay our bar tab. She had me talk to the manager who didn't understand why we didn't just pay the $3 cover. When we went to close out our tab - $5 for the beer & soda - we were told that there's a $10 minimum to use a card. What. The. Fuck. Now, I will say that my husband used to frequent this pub rather regularly a couple years ago and says that the atmosphere was wonderful. He agrees that is has since changed dramatically. I'm sad to say that this was the first and LAST time I will ever set foot in this place. read more

Our Place is a pub in Silverdale. It's the sort of place where people go regularly to drink. The bar honestly has it's high points and lows, as is normal for any establishment. The beer selection is not horrible for a pub of this type. They have miller and bud, but they also have Red Hook and Mac and Jac's. These beers aren't exactly beer geek dreams, but I like drinking them, and I don't believe every beer you drink has to be a masturbatory exercise in beer snobbery. The food was your standard pub faire, it was cooked, it came with sauce and was probably bought frozen in bulk and deep fried. Again, you have to kep in mind you aren't eating at a five star here. For what it was, the food was very decent. I didn't find the seats very comfortable the tables were dirty, the floor looked like it had never seen a broom and the tv's were obnoxiously placed. I suppose it's standard, but I think the place could use better furniture in the least. However , it's standard for the type of place so I am not gonna take them too far down for it. I guess my major sticking point would be the service. While the people weren't openly rude, I didn't think they were very nice. Would it kill someone to smile in there? I didn't really feel very welcomed by the staff while I was there. I guess I would go back there, because the place was close. But I would hardly call the place a destination. read more

The workers were so rude! My boyfriend was DD, not drinking and was kicked out for being under 21 even though he'll be 21 in a month. They need to have a bouncer if they are going to be so strict. It was so embarrassing being kicked out and the whole restaurant heard the bartender, Nikki I believe, say that he had "20 seconds to get out." He just wanted to say goodbye to one of his buddies moving out of state and only got 20 seconds for it. It was ridiculous and I will not be going back. read more

The best kick back spot in Silverdale! I wouldn't call myself a regular here, but I stop in once or twice every couple of months. I've been frequenting this place for almost 8 years, if that gives you an idea of how often I come in :) I've had multiple birthday gatherings here for both myself and family members and each time the staff has been very kind, friendly and accommodating. The drinks are fairly priced, poured generously and there's never a long wait even on busy weekends - score! I've been there for karaoke night a bunch of times and that's always a fun night to be a spectator ... Until you've worked up enough liquid courage to join in! The shuffle board and pool tables are a bonus, there's not many places in the area that have both. Definitely check this spot out if you're looking for a spot to grab a beer or two with a relaxed atmosphere and good customer service! read more

This place seems okay if you are just going out for a drink. The bartender was nice, they had a pretty okay selection of beer, and it's spacious. Our mistake was ordering food! The $4 chips and salsa appetizer were just Tostitoes (I literally heard the lady open the Tostitoes chip bag and the salsa jar in the back). It also took a long time for us to get said Tostitoes dish. I can't remember the other item we ordered to share but that wasn't good either. We ended up leaving and eating elsewhere. i just left our place pub and eatery in silverdale after 5 years when i found out without being warned that prices went up .50 cents a beer that they claim is 16 oz. but only 12. But they didnt tell or warn anybody including regular customers about price change. Then bartender telling you, you never left tip so f--- off and she dont care. Never go there. This place is going downhill fast! It's already an old, smokey smelling bar with torn vinyl barstools and mismatched table seating. The live music blasts you out of the small seating area and the service is HORRIBLE, notice the caps. Most of the time you give up waiting for any table service and go stand in line at the bar to try and get service. The drinks are average, nothing to go back for. The Cheesey Bread used to be the draw for my husband and I. We'd stop by after grocery shopping for a beer and a snack but they've changed it and somehow only serve it with stale dry bread now. Not a good change! The last straw was a week ago... we ate dinner before we went knowing the inconsistency of the food and planned on getting a little something later in the night as a snack. We timed it perfectly so we could order just before 10:00 and we'd get a few plates of nachos for us and all our friends. So at 9:45 we went up to the bar to place our order (due to lack of table service) and we were told the late night menu was in effect because it was after 10:00! We argued it was 9:45 and were told they go by bar time and it was 10:02!! WHAT?? We weren't asking for a steak dinner with baked potato and a side of crab cakes (I don't think they have any of that anyway, just trying to make a point), we were asking for nachos! They refused!!
