I don't know why every one rags on this place! I went on Tuesday night and they had $2 beer, and free pool. It was great. The bartender was awesome, helpful, on top of everything, and not bad to look at either. But on a serious note, it was a normal bar. My biggest complaints were they don't make trash cans and I didn't like the ranch Check it out for yourself before you make a decision. Our first waitress was very attentive and and friendly and made us feel welcomed. Our food took forever even though the bar was empty during the lunch hour. The food was okay portions and tasted like any bar food. There was a second waitress who helped us at the end of our meal looks like a Barbie that was left out in the Sun for too long and was just as smart. I absolutely love this place and I adore the bartenders that work here. They always have some kind of promotion going on, from Micro Monday to Fireball Friday and free pool on some days of the week. I respect and thank Marie B. for her comment. However, we have eight T.V.'s. We offer many specials though out the week. With live music every Friday Night. Karaoke every Wednesday and Saturday Night. We do bring in very big crowds. We also have VERY good food, considering we are a bar. I have personally investigated other bar's prices. We are just like any other establishment. Higher priced on somethings and lower on others. I would invite Marie and anyone else to give us a try. If you haven't figured it out yet, I do work there. I go to Our Place on a regular basis. The staff and customers are friendly and courteous. The food is good. The owner goes out of her way to help Vets. If you call in to tell them you are bring a large group in they will have extra staff to take care of you. All in all a very nice place to go and hang out. read more

I would give it zero stars. The staff is rude, owner is worse. Service is non-existent. They took my credit card to run a tab, when we wanted to leave they said they didn't have my card. Next day sure enough there was a charge from them on my card when I called my bank to cancel my debit card. Bank suggested I call Our place to check again and sure enough they had it attached to my bill but had added a 15% "run away" charge meaning a fee for not paying. What the...how is that possible when they had my card, said they didn't and had pending charge with my bank. Never mind the stress of thinking your card was lost or stolen. my wife and I visited this bar on a recent trip to see my son who is in the navy. The place didn't look bad at all but we quickly found out that the employees are definitely on the rude side. Someone had made a mess in the mens room and one of the waitresses was going aroung interviewing patrons to find out who did it. My wife was drinking a cup of water and some spilled on the tile near the karaoke dj and he loudly announced that she needed to stop spilling....lol really? We ended up going next door to a smaller bar and played pool and had a few beers, the bartender was pleasant and fun, so the evening wasn't a loss :) read more

I have been coming here since 2013 with my husband and friends and within the past year or so we have had a few issues with the bartenders. We love Rob And his karaoke and the other patrons. I attempted, to in good faith, message the page to let the owner know our concerns. It was not malicious and in no way was I belligerent in the messages or with the bartenders. I merely conveyed what had happened and my concern with how a few situations were handled. Tonight, I went in with my husband and friend from out of town and my friend and I walked over to the bar, after being there for about an hour and singing a song. We attempted to order a drink and I was told that we were not welcome because I had issued the complaints and the bartender was "the only one closing the bar" and she could choose to not serve someone if she didn't feel comfortable and that being in the bar when I am there is like walking on eggshells. Excuse me for expecting to be treated properly and like I am a customer of an establishment. When I asked why I was not being serve I was told because I had messaged this page and complained to try to get her fired. Which is incorrect because yes I did mention her name because she handled a situation poorly, but never did I say she should be fired. I even said in the message that mistakes happen, but it needs to be owned up to. This bartender exhibited the lack of professionalism even further tonight. I have NEVER had an issue with any other bartender at this establishment. I find it interesting that I was told that the owner of this establishment who knows my husband and I fairly well and asked about him when he was deployed would say that I was not welcome in an establishment where I have frequented for many years and have messaged her with concerns twice. Yet I was in the bar being served by someone else and in the bar for about an hour before she told me she wouldn't serve me. I think this was a personal way for her to try to embarrass me and get back at me. I will be reaching out to the owner and expecting a call or message to address this bartenders behavior. I ordered a drink politely and again tonight was not rude to her, but she is obviously upset I went to her superior over the issues we had with her and because I mentioned her name she is refusing to serve me. Wouldn't recomend if your looking for kind courteous service. the past couple of years our band has been on the rotation working for the owner jodi we've noticed it going down hill as far as our fan base becoming more frustrated with the service and bar tab issues... Including our band manager. Carefull and watch your tab! We recently played for the agreed amount as usual but almost at the end of the night we were informed after playing the whole night we were not getting payed per our agreement. The owner was there while we we setting up and left shortly afterwards not saying a word to the band about any changes in pay She left it up to the bartender who convienantly forgot until we were almost done playing. Not a good way to do business or treat customers. Just another sad sign of our economic times and businesses not being prepared. It used to be a nice place (our place) not so much anymore read more

I'll give this to them, the atmosphere is great and the food is pretty good. Beyond that, watch out! First, if you're not paying attention they'll double charge you for drinks all night and give you regular drinks instead, but tell you they poured doubles the whole time. The jacked up thing is they do that even if you don't ask for them. It's just their way of trying to get one by their customers. My favorite all time though has to be this: The bartender walks up and sticks money in the jukebox, then has to walk away so tells a friend and I to go ahead and pick out some songs. Then when we get our bill to close out gives us a separate receipt. When we asked what it was for, she told us the jukebox-- YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! There is no way that I would go back to this bar. I've been to the bar a few times and the bartenders are usually in a bad mood. I kept returning because it was convenient and within walking distance. The service was slow especially from the male bartender who looked right at me and walked by without saying a word. I was there with a group and ordered a round of brain hemorrhages. We asked him if he knew how to make it and he told us the ingredients and then made it all wrong. The shots were so thick that they were undrinkable and when we brought them back we got nothing but attitude. At the end of the night we went to close out our tabs and one of my friends was not charged for any of the drinks. He said something about this and he that he would like to pay for the drinks and a female bartender said to him "You probably already paid and your just too drunk" he replied I'm not drunk at all. She kept pressing the matter and he finally just said "you're right I'm drunk, I must have forgotten" she replied with "Ok smart ass get the fuck out of here." I've been to Our Place many times. If you're in Silverdale, and you're looking for a bar, it's a good place to go, for many reasons. Their food is bar food, but slightly better than most bars. If you're looking for fine dining, this ain't the place, but it's still delicious. The beer selection is pretty typical: 2 or 3 domestics plus 4 or 5 local beers on tap, with a variety of bottled beers in the cooler. The typical patron during the day is retired or nearly so, and the laid back atmosphere reflects that. In the evenings the crowd gets much younger, but still somewhat mixed, age-wise. This bar has the feel of a little bit country and a little bit classic rock, and that's what is playing on the jukebox, for the most part. The log cabin feel of the building lends to both musical aspects. The lighting is pretty dark, which is usually ok, but I like going to bars with pretty bartenders, and they have a few, so I feel like I'm getting a little short-changed with the dim lighting. (If you prefer male bartenders, they only have one.) Really, the bartenders can make or break any bar, and the current staff has a pretty good attitude. They're very professional, and yet not so busy they can't stop and shoot the breeze for a minute or two (if it's not too busy). (The one with the Texas drawl has got to be the hottest bartender in the county. Maybe cuz she's got a bit of sass, which I like. But I've also gotten lost in those blue eyes. Yowza!!!) Anyway, this is a good bar to go to if you're just wanting to have a few beers with good friends, or just want to veg, drink your beer, and watch SportsCenter. Some downsides: $10 minimum if you're using a debit card. If you're under $10, they'll give you a token or two for a beer, and charge you to get your total over $10. Kinda lame, especially if you're never coming back (or lose them, like me). And they have cover charges for extremely mediocre bands that play entirely too loud for that venue, so avoid going there on Friday nights if you're looking for a quiet place to chat. Also, there can be an over abundance of douchey sailors or Marines, but, for the most part, people are pretty respectful. I'm a mid-30's white dude who loves beer and I've lived in Silverdale, and Our Place was in my top two or three bars of the Silverdale/Bremerton area, if not the top. read more
