Menu selection is good. The crab dip appetizer is outstanding. Wings are crispy and delicious. The food and service is great!

Just passing thru and wish we would have kept going! Crab cakes way over salted. Could not eat! " homemade " potato salad bland, boiled potatoes with mayo and heavily peppered. Pepper was the only flavor im it so I even added more!!!!!! No eggs, onions, or celery to be found. Crab dip, warm mayo with a little canned crab. A renowned Maryland recipe......I highly doubt it!!!! Warm mayo...... really!!!!! Hubby's reubin was good and a large portion. He only ate half so he took the rest in a to go box. Isn't that what most people do with a half eaten sandwich????? Presentation awful. Bagged salad with a half of piece of tomato cut so thin you could see thru it. 1/2 pc of purple onion. 3 HARD croutons---- I mean very hard. Good food PRICES for NOT GOOD food. Such a cute little place. The servers / bartenders were very friendly. The food? Meh. Great reviews of the place, just was not impressed with the food. It wasn't terrible, just wasn't great, either. Well....... If your looking for plain bar food this is the spot for you. It's not like spectacular, it just your normal food. The cheesesteaks "ebensburg finest" is definitely a let down. I was expecting good steak not the cheap steakums. So hopefully they have something better than the finest. The mild really tasted more like butter cause there was no heat. The service was awesome and the environment is really cool but I recommend the beverages. The drink choices are awesome! We probably won't go back cause it's not worth the drive but if you wanna bar hop I recommend a stop in! read more

Easy place to stop on the way through. Service was great, welcoming, and fast. Lots of decor to look at and the locals were friendly but kept to themselves and weren't looky-loos at the out of towners. Chili was very good. A little sweet with chunky, plentiful ingredients. A random Google search for Ebensburg showed me this little gem. Parking is somewhat limited, but don't let it limit you from checking this place out! This fun, fire house-themed restaurant is tucked away in a small space, but the menu has a wide array of bar food and dinners to choose from. My family also sampled two of the desserts and they were delicious! The wait staff is attentive and friendly. My family is putting Out Station House on our options list when we all need to meet up in Ebensburg. read more

My daughter and I stopped in after a softball camp at SFU. The service was not only very friendly, but also amazing. Drinks never went below 1/2. We had wings and the jumbo pretzel and I loved the wings. Sauce (hot bbq) was one of the best I have had. Highly recommend and will stop back next time I am in town. read more

Went for dinner Saturday night, busy and reservations can be made which I didn't know! We got one of the last booths available. Service was excellent!! Food was good, salad, burger and fries all good. Wings, sauces were excellent however they just weren't cooked long enough I knew as soon as I saw them, the sauces were excellent the drums weren't bad at all but the flats were gummy where the fat instead of crispy is just soft. I'd just order them well done/extra crispy next time. We don't normally eat here and didn't think of it this time. read more

Decided to go a little outside our usual Johnstown-Somerset restaurant sphere and found Our Station House on Yelp. The building is easy to miss, even if you're looking for it, but stepping inside feels like you're in a completely different place. The first responder theme adds a neat flair to what might otherwise be a pretty simple restaurant, and they go all out with decor including gear from local agencies, and with neat themed menus. As far as service, I was initially a little confused because we didn't seem to have one designated server for our table, but three. But it seems like their entire wait staff pitches in to make sure that every table is getting excellent service, and it really made a difference. Food was excellent. My wife had spaghetti and meatballs and the serving was huge, and very good. I had their weekend special which was a 10oz ribeye. It was nothing fancy, but holy cow was it good! Perfectly seasoning that didn't overpower the meat, and a perfect medium rare. I honestly don't think I've ever had a steak this good from this small of a restaurant that wasn't specifically a steakhouse. Beer was cheap and cold, which is another nice bonus to top off a great experience. We'll be making the trip to Ebensburg again. read more

The mussels are out of this world! Just be sure to order extra garlic bread to soak up the remaining homemade tomato, garlic and wine sauce... and Monday-Friday from 4:00-6:00 they are half price!
