Bought a car from yesterday and I can't enough good things about the place. I walked in (no appointment) and ask Cedrick to see a car I saw on Car Guru. It was the cheapest car they had on the lot and I told him I was paying cash (not financing) so I was the cheapest customer they'd ever see. He still treated me like I was buying a fleet of their most expensive car. Then I Cedrick and Kyle (the financier) showed me the total out the door price. I was floored it was exactly as described on the Car Guru. It was the list price, the mentioned dealer fee, the state tax, and some minor fee that I forgot the name because it was only like $35. That's it though! No hidden this or that! The list price was too good to be true so I expected to fight over BS fees, but there was nothing hidden added. After leaving with the car, driving home my wife tailed me and noticed that I had a brake like bulb that had died. I drove back to the dealership and they replaced the bulb and topped off my gas before I could finish the complementary coffee I was basically chugging before I knew how fast the fix would be. read more

I recently brought my Accord in for service and was quite surprised by the lack of communication. First, I highly recommend that when the service advisor takes pictures of your car, customers do the same. I would also suggest taking pictures of the engine compartment if that's the area being serviced. Document is necessary Second, I found the Service Link was never updated. What's the point of the link? Additionally, it didn't provide timestamps for the various stages of service. Keep an eye your car. Even with an appointment, I noticed that my car was driven to the back lot instead of directly into the service bay. Ask when the car is serviced and who is the mechanic. read more

I agreed to purchase the car and I lined up trucking only to get an email that the car was sold the night before by another associate. Careful people, it's all about moving cars, the customer is the last priority. No loyalty whatsoever! read more

Went to the dealership on 2/1/25 because my 73 year old mom wants a new car. She wanted to look at the Audi Q7. She was told by the salesman that before he could get the key, to just let her look/sit inside he needed ALL of her information. We didn't ask to test drive the vehicle...just look and sit inside. My interaction with Ourisman Volvo started out great. I was very specific, re color and interior color for a Volvo X60. After two weeks, my sales guy found the perfect vehicle, that was at Ourisman Jeep in Bethesda. I was happily surprised at how much they were going to give me for my trade in. I wrote a $500 check, on a Thursday, to hold the car. On Saturday, I got a call from my sales person, telling me the vehicle was "damaged in transport" and was UNSELLABLE! No details on what happened. I sent an email to my sales person...calling out bs....they found a buyer that was going to pay more than $$ than me. A couple months ago I traded my 2022 BMW X5 for a used 2023 Audi Q5 from this dealership and while the salesman was responsive and easy to work with, the Service Department has been a huge disappointment!! My new (used) car with just 7,000 miles on it had a few things I wanted them to check out, like a loose handle on one of the doors, a gear shift that doesn't always function properly and a chip in the windshield. After leaving my car there for 2 days, they didn't fix the gear shift, claiming it is working properly. They charged me for filling in the crack in the windshield, which was fine with me because I get that they couldn't be sure it was there when I bought the car, BUT they actually DID NOT FILL IN THE CRACK, but insisted they had...funny, I can still put my fingernail in the crack and can feel the crack so how is that fixed?? It looks exactly the same as when I left it with them. Finally, they insisted they had washed my car, standard procedure for all service they told me, but the car clearly HAD NOT been washed. As a first time owner of an Audi, I'm now in possession of a car that doesn't satisfy! Perhaps I should have kept my BMW!! :( read more

Beware when you take your car for service. Took in a garage-kept, 9 year old car with under 30,000 miles for a standard oil change. Before they take the vehicle for the oil change, they do a once-over inspection to sell you brakes, tires, etc. Again, I asserted it was just an oil change, the car is barely used. My appointment time was for 8:30am, and at 10:00am, I had to ask where my vehicle was. I was informed they had to take it off the lot to test drive the car after a standard oil change. In all of my years servicing vehicles, it is not common practice to need a road test for a simple oil change. They then informed me that they had to take it off the lot to complete the oil change in their other building without any form of consent to take my vehicle off of the current property. When questioned about their right to do so, their response was that insurance would cover their employees, and that there might be somewhere in writing that an oil change equals consent from the owner to take a car off property ("oh, sure" was their response to asking if there was a place to find their insurance policy for serviced vehicles in their posession). While waiting for the tech to bring my car back, I heard a young lady and her mom be told her new car she purchased from them would need over $900 worth of work, which should be covered under her warranty and any recall there may be. After the mom asks why they sold them the car with that issue, the service tech told them "oh, those cars are well known for doing that, it just happens." I actually asked if they checked for recalls for the "well known" issue. The tech prompty escorted the ladies away and continued to tell them it would be over $900. The service department is a sham, and I urge everyone to find somewhere else to take your business. read more

We bought a 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport hse with 29,000 miles from Ourisman. Exactly 2 months to the day the motor locked up. Fortunately we bought the extended warranty. Ourisman didn't offer any assistance or a loaner. Took the warranty company a month to agree to fix it. Plus we have to pay $1200 more for the repair beyond the co pay. In the meantime we needed a car. Went back to Ourisman and purchased 2018 Ford escape titanium with 79,000 with in one day the transmission started having troubles. Their repair shop said it was a problem with the transmission. They supplied us with a loaner until the car was repaired. The part that kills me is the fact that they gave us a 30 day warranty. They refuse to use to repair the Ford. They said that was void because we bought the extended warrant. Plus they wanted to put a used transmission in the vehicle. If we wanted a new one it would an additional $1500. BUYER BE WARNED! read more

After a horrid experience at a blended Lincoln Ford dealership a bit south of here, Lincoln customer service set me up with this wonderful dealership. Andre in Lincoln service is absolutely spectacular and took every single issue I had with my new Lincoln and made sure they were all fixed perfectly. Out of all the exotics, Audis, Lexus, Mercedes, and other expensive cars I have owned, this is the best service department ever. Every single issue I had was identified and repaired. On 12/7/19 I brought my car to the Ourisman Frederick Audi dealership for an airbag recall. After picking up my car, within 15 minutes my airbag light came on. I immediately contacted the dealership back and they asked me to bring the car back in. Keep in mind my airbag light has never come on and after they took car of my airbag recall they indicated that the door harness to the driver side door needed to be replaced and the estimate was going to be $1000. I would never recommend anyone bring their car there. How coincidental after I bring my car in for an airbag recall that I now need to bring my car back for an air bag door harness on the driver side door costing me $1000 now. I was physically assaulted by one of their employees. Francis the assistant manager break checked me several times before threatening to hit me with the shuttle vehicle. I was terrified and had to file a police report. Do not get in the car with that woman, and record yourself if you do. This all happened because she asked me how the service was and I told her disappointing as they didn't have the parts I needed or the car that was supposed to be reserved for me and I told her not to be sorry but do better. I wish Yelp had a negative star rating, for places like this. Coming from our Richmond Ford Lincoln dealership, we were expecting this place to provide great service. Sadly, my husband and I WILL NOT be returning here under any circumstances. 1. We have a warranty on our Lincoln. They couldn't find it in their system. In fact, their system was down completely. The lady working with my husband told him this is pretty common. 2. We went in for a simple inspection. We made an appt online. They had no record of our appt and it took 3+ hours to get our car inspected. 3. In the course of inspecting our car they took our very expensive and heavy carseat out, threw it on our leather seats, and left it that way for us to reinstall after the inspection. That is not good service. 4. While waiting 3+ hours for the car inspection, my husband overheard the sales guys talking about how they don't want to sell Lincolns, they only want to sell Audis. So, if you like Audis, go here. But if you want decent service for a Lincoln, don't bother. 5. Our car was supposed to be vacuumed and washed while there. Both services were subpar. 6. They were supposed to remove the inspection sticker from VA off of our windshield. They made no attempt to do so. The list goes on, but I won't bore you... you get the idea. Bottom line- we did not feel welcome, appreciated, or well-treated. We found a local garage to service our car going forward, and we won't buy another Lincoln because I don't want to deal with this dealership. read more

I would not take your car here. They told me my wiper warranty was up by a few days. The car had 8500 miles on it. I thought I bought a bumper to bumper warranty with the car for 36m or 36000 miles. Any ways I wanted to get nito in my tires....after waiting 2.5 hours for them to check a noise in my ac fan and do an oil change, I got the car back, paid the $64+ to find out they rotated the tires....AND DID NOT PUT NITO IN THEM! So it's a week later and I'm setting on the side of the road at 4:30am with a flat tire? They wanted my car back for three days to, as she said, "tear the dash all apart". NO THANK YOU, ILL FIND ANOTHER DEALERSHIP. read more

This review is for the Service Department. I took my car in this morning to get my normal 35,000 mile service. The staff were polite and even offered me a ride to and from work. They completed the work quickly and I was surprised to see my car washed and shining upon pick up. They also didn't charge me for a tire rotation which is easily passable to an unknowing client. They were honest and upfront about the whole process. I look forward to servicing my car here in the future. read more

WOW. I was a first time car buyer and had been to 8 different dealerships looking for a used car. Very skeptical to trust anyone, but these guys were awesome (esp. Jim!) I bought a pre-owned ford taurus for under blue book value and 3 weeks later I could not be happier! Very easy to work with and understanding of me. At one point a few days after purchasing the car, I thought the heat was not working on one side. I called them up and they said they would take care of it at no cost! Not only that, they would give an Audi for a few days! However, I was being an idiot and had on a setting and fixed the heating issue on my own. Out of my 6 car buying experiences, this has to be my best one. I am a rather impulsive person and know what I want. I had my mind set on trading in my Xterra for a 4Runner and began my shopping on cars.com and cargurus.com and came across Ourisman. I started my shopping on Sunday and almost immediately received a response from Ourisman when I inquired about a 2010 4Runner limited. Fast forward, 1 day later and speaking to at least 8 other dealerships, i made a plan to stop by Darcars in Frederick to test drive a 4Runner they had in stock. Needless to say, that car on the exterior and interior was beautiful. All of that was great until I walked up to the truck with its windows down and it smelt like wet dog and vomit. I took a brief test drive and I Emphasize brief (1 block) and brought it back. I leave that dealership after they try to sell me. I ended up at Ourisman and met with Ian before I ended my night of shopping. Ian was pleasant, professional and more importantly not pushy. I looked at the 4Runner and test drove it. Loved the car and we began crunching numbers. Ian was helpful through every step of the way and I honestly got a steal on the truck. I went home that night with my mind set and discussed it with my wife. We both agreed it was time to turn in the Xterra and blocked off the next evening to meet Ian to finalize the deal. He had everything ready when we arrived. We met with Erica the "protection lady" and she was fantastic. Although I did not buy what she was selling, the experience was nothing short of a pleasure. We then found ourselves at the finance department and met with Nick. He was just as nice as the rest of the folks at Ourisman. We finalized the paperwork without any additional warranties and drove home. I had a previous experience at another dealership that was the complete opposite. Good car buying experience, but terrible post-car buying experience. The salesmen were helpful and responsive when we were looking for a new car. However, once we'd actually gone ahead and purchased, everything went downhill. We discovered there were several items that we had specifically asked about where the salesman had just completely lied. For example, we noticed discoloration on the trunk carpets and asked if the car leaked water. We were assured that it didn't and that it would be taken care of if we discovered that it did actually leak after we bought it. Within the first week we found a large puddle in the trunk, which they wouldn't fix. We were also promised a second key. It's now 3 months later and this is their exact email I received when asked about it: "have not heard anything about the key. I'm not sure if it will turn up. I will keep you posted as I hear more. Have a wonderful day. Sent from my iPhone" It also took them 6 weeks to get license plates, which is much longer than normal. Don't buy here. read more

If your going to buy a car, might want something new. I bought a used 2008 Nissan almost 9,000 dollars in cash and have had problem after problem. Within 24 hours I had to return the car for a bad motor mount and the exhaust pipe strap was loose. Now, less then 5 months after purchasing the car I am having transmission problems! No pressure, laid-back vibe in their showroom/offices, and the two salesmen I dealt with knew everything about the cars I test drove. They were young guys and really loved cars, I could tell. The prices were a little below average Kelly blue book. They also had a great selection of late model used vehicles (I was looking for used). I ultimately found several I wanted, but decided on one, and the buying process went really smoothly. I had been pre-approved for a car loan from my longtime bank, and brought the paperwork, but the finance guy said I think I can get you an even better rate. And he did, half a point lower, no fees. Every question I had about financing and warranties, he answered. I got a folder with every document I needed, license plates and registration card, and they even delivered the car I drove in with (I didn't want to trade it in) back to my home for free, so I could drive my new car home myself. They don't play games, and there's no pressure or hassle. Looking below, it looks like the 1-star reviews here are mostly from the service department, but don't confuse that with the sales department, because I really had a good experience here buying a car. read more

Ourisman Frederick like to lie to customers. I had a problem with one of my vehicle tires and I went to Ourisman Frederick to ask them to fix it. Due to one of the tires was in bad shape TOM (from the service department) gave me an estimate to replace two tires of $800.00 (without aliment and other charges that will go up to $1,000.00). Tom after he gave me that estimate, I told him that it was too high for two tires. He recommended me to buy the tires online and they could mount the tires for LESS THEN $100.00. Lies, so I did what all customers will do, trust a man that for me looked like an honest man, follow his advice. So I purchased the tires online and bought the tires back to Ourisman Frederick. Next day, I picked up my vehicle and TOM gave me the total for the SERVICE of $317.54. How in the hell went from $100.00 to $300.00???? because TOM from Ourisman Frederick like to lie to customers.......DON'T TRUST THIS PLACE OR THEIR EMPLOYEES!!! I bought a car that cost me $55,000.00 and this how you treat people. read more

I was helped immediately by Daniel Adcock, who treated me professionally, and spared me the lines other dealers had given me. He went out of his way to find discounts, yet apologized for taking up my time in doing so. I had a lease drafted that day on a new car and when I came to sign the papers three days later the experience was equally painless. Friendly, Low-Pressure Sales Experience with Class 2011 Honda Fit, 25k miles I walked into Ourisman frustrated with the previous dealerships I'd recently visited. The two brand specialists I met, Jeff Bodine and Dylan McGee, and their manager Matt, were friendly and relaxed and made me feel instantly at ease. Although someone else was looking at the car when I arrived, Jeff brought me the Car Fax and other information on the car and answered all my questions while I waited. When the other customer left, I took the car for a test drive with Jeff, who was easy to talk to and helpful and knowledgeable about the car. I told Jeff I planned to return the next day with my husband and asked him if he would allow me to take the car to my mechanic prior to making an offer. He not only had no problem with that, he got permission for me to take the car home overnight so I could show it to my husband and have it checked out, despite that I live 30 minutes away. After getting the runaround from other dealers, I truly appreciate the time and effort this saved me. Jeff was even able to work with me on the price a little and make me feel confident that I was getting a good deal. I ended up paying a little under KBB's value, but still in the fair price range. I'm totally okay with that--I want a good deal but I'm not into mind games or lowballing. Similar cars at CarMax were listed for thousands more. The paperwork was fast and easy--they even provided the permanent plates then and there. I returned two weeks later to have a pre-existing dent removed (Jeff included this in the price we agreed on) and got the same level of service and friendliness. When we're in the market for another car, Ourisman will be the first place we look, and Jeff will be the first guy we talk to. They definitely earned my trust. read more

I am sure the dealership is fine for purchasing a new car but do not bring your car here for service, unless you want it to leave with more damage than you might have brought it in to fix. Courteous and knowledgeable staff but they took 4 days to replace two tires on my 2016 RS7 and then sent my car home with a crack in the windshield that they blamed on being there already. My word against theirs so not much I can do but warn fellow consumers of the fact that this is a deceitful service center and you are better off taking your car to one of the other Audi dealerships in the area. read more

I have my A4 serviced here regularly, and I fully trust the mechanics to get the job done. There have been a couple of instances where neither I nor the service department could figure out a problem, but that was quickly resolved. The staff is very friendly and professional. My only complaint is how the mechanics will leave the seat way back when they return the vehicle to you. My seat memory is broken so I have to fix it back to the way it was. Not a huge problem, just something that takes a couple of minutes. read more

I just purchased a 2014 S5 from Dan Mangan. He is a professional and knows his product very well. He even came in on his day off to deliver the car at 7:00 at night when I was able to get their. I brought my Volvo in to the service department for an oil change and rear brake pads. I also asked them to look for the source of a jitter that I could feel in the steering wheel when I drove. Everyone was polite and they had a shuttle that gave me a ride home. BUT! They called and said that I needed new tires, which I knew. They also said that I had two bent wheels. One was slightly bent, and another was very badly bent. They even asked if I had noticed a drop in gas mileage because the right rear wheel was so badly bent. The new wheels and total repair was going to be around $2200. I didn't have the work done because it was so expensive. Later, I took my car to Tires Plus in Frederick. They took the wheels off, inspected them, and put them on their balancing machine. The wheels were fine. Tires Plus replaced the tires, balanced, and aligned, and now the car feels like new. Conclusion? Volvo of Frederick tried to scam me. read more
