Great grooming services! My 5 month old mini Goldendoodle got her first grooming here. When I called, the assistant manager picked up the phone, and was the sweetest person ever! She was so kind, and was able to make an appointment for the following week. When I got there, my dog was greeted and welcomed by all of the staff members. She felt like a celebrity! The groomer then came out to introduce herself to my dog and I. She noticed that my poor dog had a matted coat in some areas. The groomer told me that she had to be cut pretty short, and I was very upset. However, both the groomer and assistant manager reassured me that it was the best option for my dog. I showed them some photos of dogs that had haircuts that I liked, and they said they would try their best to match it. I left my dog a little hesitant, but I was so nice to know that they had my dog's best interest in mind! My dog was ready to be picked up within a very reasonable time, and she looked AMAZING! 1000x cuter than I ever imagined. I was so impressed! She left feeling so much better! Overall, staff is incredibly friendly, they will take great care of your dog, and it's a good price! Highly recommend. We will be customers for life! read more

Let me start by saying that our original groomer at this shop was wonderful with our miniature poodle. She took the time to hand scissor any extra hairs for that show cut/groom. She also assured us that the dogs there were never caged unless it was necessary. I let them know that I was waiting in the area (Starbucks across the street) and that there should be no need to ever cage her. She also stated that they worked on one dog at a time, which is why I'm willing to pay extra. Jump to about 1.5 years ago. I came in and was told that the groomer that I had scheduled for was no longer there. No phone call, nothing. That my dog was now going to be groomed by a very experienced lady that had recently owned her own shop. My dog and my new poodle puppy did get used to her and no problems there, once she learned how we preferred them to look. Then again, a groomer change. Only this time the groomer mentioned that she was leaving at our last visit. I was shocked as I think she had only been there for a few months. Under her breath she said, there's a reason groomers keep leaving. That should have been my warning! Unfortunately I continued to book appointments with whoever was available and that was a BIG mistake. During this time they were being groomed by random (but very nice girls) that didn't seem to have any experience at all with grooming, let alone poodle cuts. We were very disappointed with each cut, but I kept telling my family, at least the hair will grow back. Jumping to this February 2025. We had an appointment scheduled with a groomer for a Sunday afternoon for both dogs (we would keep one with us, return in about 1.5 hrs & switch out the dogs, to keep them from being in a cage). This would have been the 2nd time this groomer would work on my girls. I received a call on that Saturday from the owner(??) stating that the groomer would not be able to work on our dogs as she had quit. The lady on the phone wanted me to quickly make a decision to change to another groomer. After asking if they had any experience with poodle cuts, she became very defensive and stated that all groomers can do all cuts. Well in my experience this is not true at all, especially at a location where we are the only poodles they do (was told this by a groomer). I refused to just switch people and asked her to talk to all of her grooming staff to see who was qualified to do poodle cuts and call be back later in the week. I never received a call, but mysteriously I received 2 text reminders for new appointments. I refused/canceled both. My daughter and I have a little experience keeping our 2 dogs trimmed between grooming, so we decided to try our hand at it and look for a new groomer location. So you would think we were done with all that craziness, problem solved!? Well when I went to trim the nails of my now 1.5 year old puppy, my sweetheart of a poodle, my only dog to fall asleep while being groomed(yes she does); she cried, growled and snapped at me! I had not even touched her with the trimmers! I was devasted. I have raised dogs all of my adult life and I have prided myself for having very well acclimated dogs, even to nail trimming. She has been worked with since she came to us from the breeder at 8 weeks. My only guess is that something happened at that last visit in January 2025. And after reading all the comments here and on Glassdoor, I can see why. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS STORE FOR YOUR GROOMING!!! And make sure you look into any other place you go to have your pups groomed. One incident can mar them for life. Now I will have to see the vet about meds or some other way to get her nails done. When I mentioned that the fluffy pants on my corgi/papillon/spaniel mix were getting out of control, Mary Anne suggested a visit to their groomer. Amanda did a great job! I have been taking my dog here for about three years now. I used to love taking her, however the last time I took her she has a very uneven cut and long random groups of hair, I brushed it off as we all have bad days. The reason I'm writing this review is because of how they handled a situation. I had a grooming appointment I scheduled weeks ago and reconfirmed a week prior, I went to drop my pup off and they told me "did anyone contact you as we don't have a groomer until March." I knew this because they told me on the phone and told me they had a male fill in as the normal groomer was out on leave. I brought this to their attention where the workers' response was he last minute had left them.... I totally understand, things happen, however I had planned my ENTIRE day around this appointment and I feel as if no phone call, voicemail or email letting me know there would be no one there to groom my dog was unprofessional and really irritated me. I'm not one to complain, but my dog really needed her appointment and to not even be notified that they could not uphold the appointment until a drove all the way up there is not how I feel this should have been handled. They offered to reschedule an appointment for two months from now with a minor $10 off. I appreciate the effort but lack of communication to even let your customer know you can't withhold their grooming is not somewhere I want to make appointments with. Making a grooming appointment takes a few weeks in advance as places fill up, this is why I plan ahead when I know my pup will need to be groomed. If I would have been properly alerted that Kriser could not uphold the service I had scheduled with them, I could have found a place to schedule with as a replacement this once. Instead, not only could I not get her groomed, I will now have to wait a few more weeks to even be on the schedule elsewhere because I was not extended the courtesy of a notice in advance that my appointment could not take place. I honestly would have just found somewhere for this one time and rescheduled when the Kriser groomer was back in March, but the handling of this makes me want to reconsider ever coming back. This makes me sad as my dog loves he groomer and the normal cashier who is working when we come by. read more

This is such a great store! Our favorite is the pet grooming. Chloe takes care of our Beau like he's her own pet. It's so nice to take Beau where his cut is quick (2 hours or less) and where he's in a less stressful environment. Then there's Chloe, a beyond wonderful groomer who listens and takes the very best care of your pup. Beau always looks darling when he's done. The store is great with very helpful employees who are always willing to make recommendations of products, healthy foods and pup necessities. I would not recommend this groomer to anyone. We will no longer be taking our dog to be groomed here ever again. First, when I met the groomer, he was exceedingly unfriendly and made me very uncomfortable. I requested a "puppy cut" on my 4 lb morkie, to which he replied quickly and condescending "there is no such thing." My first impression with him left me feeling very upset. After 4 hours, the groomer called to let me know she would be ready to be picked up. When we arrived the groomer did not come out to greet us and upon further inspection of my very small dog, she had two large cuts near her right armpit that were never discussed with us. Needless to say we are left very unhappy and strongly do not recommend you take your dog to get groomed here. read more

I brought my maltipoo in after he spent two weeks at my parents house and got his fur matted up. I specifically requested that he did not get his fur cut low (I've been to great places that take there time and tend to specific dog's needs and are very patient and capable of dealing with any sort of fur). She advised me that since the fur was a bit matted she would leave as much as she could, nothing mentioned of needing to cut all of his fur off. When I arrived, my maltipoo that is typically super furry was completely shaved. She blatantly went against my wishes and shaved my dog of all of his fur, no call to ask my permission or give me a heads up. I would've told her i would take him to a company that is more experienced. So please, when booking be mindful of this fact. read more

I got a flyer in the mail for the grand opening of this place so I decided to give it a go. My pup was starting to look like a shaggy hippy dog so it was time. When I showed up for my appointment, there were two really friendly employees there to greet me. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes until I could drop my dog off with the groomer and leave because she was running behind schedule with another dog. That was a bit irritating. I showed the groomer- Kim- I believe was her name- 4 pictures of what my pups hair used to look like and said I wanted it to be that length again. She said the pics were longer than what she thought I was originally asking for and said she would use a 5. She said it would take 2-3 hours and then I left. I got a call 2.5 hours later for me to pick her up. Oh my gosh. When I saw her, i went into shock. Who was this pup? She was almost unrecognizable! Her hair was so short on her body that she looked like a chihuahua but her face was partially cut and still kind of looked like a Yorkie. Kim said my pup was super squirmy and that she couldn't finish cutting the facial hair bc she was scared of poking her eye out. As such, her facial hair is unevenly cut. Then she briefly showed me my pups leg and I saw a cut but I didn't have my glasses. I paid and left. When I got home, I saw my pup was limping and realized she had a deep cut on her leg! I called the store and the manager Lisa offered me a refund but I had to drive a 30 min round trip to get the refund. Liz, the store clerk was very nice to me about the refund and apologized profusely about what happened. The store has really nice employees but I really can't believe what happened to my poor pup. I will clearly never go back there again and I just wanted to warn others! Update: The groomer did put a super cute bow on my pup's head. It just fell off now and we see her head has been bleeding right under the bow! Either the groomer cut her head and tried to cover it up or she clipped the bow to her scalp! Look at the picture! Chloe was fantastic with our little puppy B. Unfortunately, he had a bad experience with another groomer that makes it very difficult to groom him. Chloe has been so patient and loving with B that he is starting to like being groomed. As long as Chloe is there we are going to stick with this place. We took our golden retriever in for a full groom a few weeks ago and left feeling like we'd just paid $75 for mostly a bath. I'm not sure if it was my fault for not being more clear on what we wanted for her, but when we picked her up, only her matted fur under her ears and front paws were shaved and the fur between her toes was slightly trimmed. I would have expected that the fur on her ears, legs, chest, etc would be trimmed and cleaned up as well, but she just looked extra fluffy (rather than nicely trimmed) when we picked her up. It's fair for me to mention that we'd called last minute to see if they had any cancellations/room to squeeze her in that day for a full groom. (I know, that's a lot to ask!) However, I'd have preferred they tell me that they didn't have time to fully groom her than have us pay full price and not receive what we expected. Next time, I'll be sure to call ahead and be clear about what we're expecting from a full groom. read more

Her grooming skills are fantastic, she is compassionate and reliable, communicates with you and does not take 4+ hours to groom. . Your pet is not locked up in another room and you can actually watch your pet being groomed from outside the store, of which I feel is comforting. The staff is very friendly, the store is clean and has everything you are looking for. I finally feel comfortable leaving him at the groomers. If I could give it zero stars for the grooming services, I would. I made my appointment 3 weeks in advance, and told the person who took my appointment that my typical groomer was great, because she only did one dog at a time, and my dog gets anxious around other dogs. The person suggested I take their first available appointment in the morning so she would be by herself. I was so appreciative! I scheduled an appointment for 9:00 am. Cut to today.... got there at 9:00 on the dot, and there are two dogs in the grooming suite that are barking. I asked the cashier if they were ready for her, and she said they still had to dry and shave another dog. I indicated that I was under the impression that we had the first appointment and did not want to leave her there only to be kenneled while she waited for the other dogs to be finished. I said I would have appreciated a call that they were running behind. She stated, "well, this is our 8:00 appointment." I told her my appointment is right now, and I'm told it will be 1/2 hour before anyone can see my dog. I let her know I would wait outside and they could call me when they were ready. I waited in the parking lot. I called 45 minutes later. Oh yeah, they were ready for us. Never called me. When I brought her in, I told them that I understood she was pretty matted, and she would likely need to be cut short, but wanted them to leave her face full. They said, "no problem." I asked them to call me about 15 minutes before she was done, so that she didn't have to wait in a kennel while I drove back. 2 hours later I get a call saying she is done. Again, really poor follow through with their commitment to making my dog comfortable. She had to wait in a kennel while I drove back. Pick her up, and I wanted to cry. she is a mini golden doodle that is completely shaved. Her snout, body and legs. She looks horrendous! Additionally, they cut the skin on her underbelly near her leg, and didn't even tell me about it. $75 for that haircut!!!! I will never take my dog there again. Stay away. read more

A few weeks ago we booked 'Jenn' to groom our dog. Per the manager, Jenn is the 'dog whisperer'. Our lab - Lexie - is 13 years old, highly arthritic and doesn't like her nails trimmed. For years we used a mobile grooming service but have had issues as local franchise was sold so turnover in groomers. Jenn was so sweet to Lexie and did an amazing job. Great Place For Grooming!!! I would totally recommend. I have a 14 month old Lhasa who can be spicy at times. Chloe knows exactly how to deal with my pup in a positive way. I trust Chloe's judgment when I bring my Lhasa in for grooming, and together we decide what type of cut he will be getting. Sometimes, my Lhasa does not cooperate for Chloe and with her knowledge and experience she knows exactly how to use positive reinforcement with my pup to make him feel comfortable and in a safe environment. In addition, if for some reason my Lhasa might not have had a perfected face trim, which does not happen often, it's not Chloe the groomer, it's my pup who might feel not secure at that time with the scissors in his face. Chloe always closes out with a consultation, I always get a 15 min courtesy call when to pick up my pup. I have never been disappointed. Thumbs Up! read more

***UPDATE*** contacted the regional manager that their customer service replied with to this post. It's now been over two weeks and no response from him. Hopefully my experience with this place makes others think twice before taking their pet here. My dog has been to the animal hospital 3 times already for his injury. Will need to seek other methods to get reimbursed from Krisers. Will never torture my puppy by taking him here again. Groomer cut my 8 month old puppy on his neck and he's now being treated on antibiotics and topical treatment for his wound for a week. Worst part was they called and said he was ready for pick up and didn't tell me what had happened. Instead they sprung it on me when I arrived at the store. They then told me they wouldn't charge me but could tip the groomer. No thanks. Also contacted them through their website with no response. Ended up with an injured puppy and a trip to the animal hospital the day before a business trip. Wouldn't recommend this place if you were looking for a trim for your chia pet. read more

My other dog (a hound mix) smelled great, and they even cut her dewclaws! I had forgotten to mention she had both front and back dewclaws. They both seemed happy and were done the way I wanted! We have been coming to this location since it opened in 2015 and haven't looked back since! Not only do we love shopping here, we love taking our two larger pups here for grooming as well! I had my first experience with Krisers today. My mom's dog Teddy, a Burnese Mountain Dog needed a spa day away from his cranky sister, Jazmyn the Chihuahua. I was lucky enough to come across Amanda. I recently started going to Amanda to groom my dog Pedie. He is a sweet dog, but is exceptionally hard to groom. I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda and was so impressed by her patience and friendly attitude towards both me and Pedie. She recognized that he was scared and calmed him down. Rachel, the groomer, is the absolute best groomer we've had for our Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier. He gets matted very easily and she went above and beyond with her time and care to de-matt him and give him the best grooming he has had in his 1 1/2 year life!!
