I went with friends for a girls night out. It was packed and there was a wait. Packing is available but there are a lot of restaurants in the area so just be mindful. After we were called the server was quick to take our order. We reared everything at once since it was so crowded. I got the blooming chicken with potatoes and asparagus. It took awhile for the food to come but again they were extremely busy. The food was good when it did arrive. I enjoyed what I ordered. That is a go to for me with my dietary restrictions but it's worth it. Staff was friendly. It didn't take long to get a to go box and our check when ready. I will be back to this location. read more

I did not have a good experience eating at this Outback. It was one of those times where almost everything went wrong. It was not busy at the time we arrived. It may have been that the server was new because she seemed unfamiliar with the menu. It took about 45 minutes for drinks to come out, and they all came out separately. The one that took the longest was a canned drink which we were repeatedly told that it was still being made... We had to ask several times for a water that we asked for right away. The food also took about a half hour. We needed to ask for silverware multiple times. Two salads arrived without dressing. The floor around the entire dining area all the way to the bathrooms is greasy and dangerously slippery. It feels like a lawsuit waiting to happen. I ordered takeout from this Outback and parked in the curbside waiting area. To order, I used the app. I was ordering for a small gathering at my home, so I checked out with multiple appetizer orders. The food was prepared timely and brought to my car as I ordered curbside. The lady who brought my food was extremely pleasant. When I arrived home, about twenty minutes away, the food was still warm. Very pleasing experience. read more

We arrived at the Outback on Corning Place early (6:00 pm) and the restaurant was not busy. The host was polite and sat us quickly. Our server was polite, although a little confused, about our drink order. Once that order was placed, along with a Bloomin Onion, the server brought us bread and our waters. It took about 15 minutes or so for our cocktails to arrive. Since they were not busy we were surprised but went on with our evening. After 30 minutes of placing the "onion" order, we asked the server if there was a problem. She checked and a few minutes later the "onion" arrived. Sadly, it was cold and she said she would have it replaced. We asked to speak to a manager and a few minutes later Michael showed up. We explained the situation and he said he would handle it and took the "onion" off our bill. When the 2nd "onion" arrived, it, too was cold. At this point we had been waiting for an hour and we decided to eat it. Michael came by to check on us and was surprised the "onion" was cold once again. We placed our dinner order and sat back and relaxed. It took the food about 25-30 to come out but, it was delicious! Steaks cooked to order and quite tasty. Once we were ready to check out (we were told to use the box on the table) we realized there were two bills on our tab. We called someone over and she said she would check on this and be right back. She never came back. So, after waiting 10-15 minutes we put cash on the table and left. We'd had some issues with this location in the past and hadn't' been in quite some time. We decided to give it another chance. Well, I don't think we'll be back. Very sad, as this used to be our favorite restaurant. read more

We visited Outback at 5 PM on a Saturday, expecting the usual dinner rush energy. What we got was one incredible server Ciera carrying the weight of the entire front-of-house on her shoulders while much of the rest of the staff seemed to be on a completely different planet. Our server was fantastic from the start warm greeting, quick drink orders, friendly conversation, But then I watched as table after table after table got sat in her section seven in total (3 two tops and 4 3+tops) all within minutes. Any seasoned diner knows that's a ridiculous workload for one person, especially during peak hours. Meanwhile, bussers and kitchen staff were leaning on counters, laughing, and chatting away. Hosts were nowhere to be seen for stretches of time. And to top it off, I counted multiple employees lounging in a booth with their phones out, scrolling and chatting, completely disconnected from what was happening in the dining room. Our food came out decent for restaurant food , other than a small hiccup with our main entrees coming out before a salad (food runners error not the server) it was also quiet sad to see our server having to serve tables while being OBVIOUSLY in the middle of her break for her shift. The crazy part? Despite being completely overloaded, our server never once let it show to her guests. She hustled non-stop, kept a smile on her face, and made sure everyone had what they needed. That kind of professionalism is rare -- and it's exactly why this review isn't a one-star rant. Outback management: please take a hard look at your floor operations. This is not a "team" when one person is drowning and everyone else is coasting. The imbalance in workload is obvious to guests, and it's unfair to your best employees. Our server is a gem -- don't burn her out. She's the reason we'll come back. read more

First and foremost I'd like to commend Tiana for being a hard working server and for having to deal with that NIGHTMARE table consisting of the older, problematic couple who's sole purpose was to get something for free! Because of those rude customers, our server was not able to provide us with the attention that we know she's capable of. We waited a bit to get our order in and this was because of that horrible table that was occupying EVERYONES time! The manager visited their table at least a dozen times to hear complaints. Not once did a manager come by our table to check on us, because this problematic couple had the manager scared to death! Shame on that manager for allowing rude patrons like this to occupy his every moment! I hope that manager learns how to focus on customers who deserve attention and not customers who are simply trying to get a free meal. read more

Tried it a second time. This time we got seated and placed our order. I ordered a Cobb salad which said mixed greens. I specifically asked was it iceberg or romaine and was assured it was mixed. What did I get - a place or iceberg lettuce! When they said they'd take it back and give me romaine, it was again iceberg. Then I was presented with a small plate of iceberg as a sub. Sent the whole salad back. We also had to ask for utensils after my husband got his food. Won't be back to this location ever. read more

Should have listened to the reviews. I came in around 9:15 and was sat immediately. As a server myself, I completely understand the demands of the job, but there was a clear lack of urgency or care for service here. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet it took my server, Treasure, 20 minutes just to come by and take my order. After that, I didn't see her again for another 20 minutes--well after my appetizer had arrived. I had to specifically ask for bread and silverware, and I only received the silverware. No one ever came to check if I was okay or if the food was right. To make matters worse, I overheard both the host and the porter openly complaining about how lazy the servers were. My food came out cold, even though the plate was hot, and both the silverware and glasses were visibly dirty. 2/5 -- Do not recommend. read more

We visited on a Friday afternoon to celebrate a graduation. Kinda slow service at first but a waitress who was not assigned to our table picked us up when she noticed we hadn't ordered our drinks yet. I had the Gold Coast Coconut Shrimp with the Blue Cheese Pecan Chopped Salad. The salad was great and the shrimp were good, but heavy on the breading for such little shrimp. Oof. 2nd time coming here. The first time was around their grand opening so I didn't want to rate them off that alone (wasn't a great experience.) This time, everything was just a bit off. Salads come preloaded with a good bit of dressing. This is more of a cautionary note as I didn't see the dressing was in the middle of the salad. No utensils, had to ask 2 different people, everyone was looking around like they had no idea where the utensils might be located. Took maybe 7 or 8 minutes to get utensils. Cool. My filet comes, ordered medium rare, the inside is purple with a thick band of well done. It's fine, I had a few bites and boxed it up so I can reheat it at home and cook it to medium rare. Mashed potatoes were great tho! Wife got the salmon with shrimp and some kind of sauce. Vegetables were steamed and flavorless. Salmon was drenched in oil and sauce, sitting in a pool of liquid. Cooked perfectly, however! (I'd recommend getting the grilled salmon, sauce on the side.) The service was the worst part. My water was empty, server nowhere to be found.. waited and waited some more to get a refill. The server didn't come to check once during dinner, I had to flag him down each time. Same thing for the bill. This place is 5 minutes from my house and I really want it to be good. I'll give it one more chance.. may just order to go so I don't have to worry about the service and I can finish cooking the steak at home if I need to. Not ideal. Guys, come on. I know it's "Outback" I'm not expecting Capital Grill service or food, but damn. At least this time the steak was edible! Y'all are moving in the right direction.. could use better hiring and training of staff. From the get-go it was clear our server (who was also working behind the bar) just did not want to be there. I ate here for lunch. One afternoon. Service was good. Food was pretty good for my drink. I just had ice water no spirits always ask your waitress. What is the lunch special or special of the day just to see if anything interests you they have pretty good prices they are not over price however they are not cheap either so that's that. Came twice, 1st time we order food but we didn't get it until 45 minute later and steak was cooked incorrectly. 2nd time we came to celebrate daughter's senior HS state playoffs game and their was nobody there but the host and workers didn't attend us and waited for a table that took 10-15 minutes. We just decided to leave because, if they can't sit you down when there literally nobody in the restaurant, it's just horrible service! The Ambience, nobody was there it was quiet, just workers standing around not helping. This is close to where we live and was hoping to celebrate with a party 7 but to no luck. We had to ask for a server then once we finally gave an order we received our salad an hour later from walking in the door and still had no silverware. Asked for silverware twice. I eat at Outback pretty regularly but lastnight on Feb 14th I should have passed. My salmon was super over cooked, they did not put the rice that goes with it in my bag. Checked out our new neighborhood outback. I waited to give them time to adjust. Everyone was nice and willing to assist. Parking was totally full so we are obviously happy to have them here. For now I would wait until around 730 for dinner unless you're able to get there at say 5. The blueberry lavender was good. Some issues with the check system but overall it was a good visit. Wow, this place was not very busy, we placed our curbside order for a steak, fries, mashed potatoes, a salad, and a side of mac and cheese at 1:48 PM. The time emailed to us it would be ready at was 2:12. We didn't get our food until 2:58 PM. Went into the store twice, and it was still not done. The other issue is that they weren't busy, so can't figure out why this took so long. Not a good sign when you can count the amount of cars in their parking lot with one hand. if you plan on going to this location, hopefully sitting down doesn't take this long but do NOT order curbside. Went on Friday at 9 pm. Sat at the bar. Service was great. Ordered the Outback burger (medium)recommended by the server. Came out well done and the burger was less than 1/4 inch thick. Mushrooms tasted as if they were reheated. Also, their recommended tip percentages are based off of total WITH tax. Apparently they thought people wouldn't notice but you don't tip on tax. read more

The staff makes my day! My husband and I are regulars. We meet at this location often for lunch. We love this location. & we love having regular servers & bartenders (we both served in college) We have nothing to say about the wonderful staff. Adrienne was our favorite and she no longer works there. Our food is always perfect & hot. We have a new bartender, Aaron who we love. We have noticed that one manager in particular needs courses. We regularly see discrepancies on the floor, staff is expected to resolve and no management present. If manager "Devin" is there she is quick to take it off the bill instead of fixing it & apologizing. She lacks personal skills and is cold then goes back to the office. While she is in the store it's like a dark cloud over the establishment. Staff is quiet and the vibe is off. She is hostile and rude and unapologetic about it toward her employees She needs curtesy training. Hire back Adrienne & promote Aaron! We also love Billy! See you guys next Tuesday-Thursday! My fiancée and I have been to this location 3 times. First time was the best time and it was our waiters first day. Second time was a huge disappointment. The waiters first words to us were "it's gonna be a while." No greeting or hello. Just it's gonna be a while. We were trying to give him grace bc he was clearly flustered but it was just one thing after the other. I ordered my steak medium and it came out medium rare. When I mentioned it to the waiter he pulled out his flashlight and held it up to the plate trying to reassure me it was medium... it was very clearly not medium. Not to mention we waited so long for our appetizer and food. Third time was a disappointment as well. Took 10 minutes to get drinks. Our food kept getting sent to another table so they had to remake half of it. We had to ask for our bread after 20 minutes. The waiter made some pretty weird comments towards me. My salad came out after dinner. Honestly think we got our dessert before my salad came out. I just don't understand why these waiters are so flustered, they aren't even running the food out. Having had several great dining experiences here a friend and I decided to go for dinner today. In spite of there being numerous empty tables we were told there was a 15-20 minute wait. Understanding there could be an employee shortage we went outside to wait. After twenty minutes we went back inside. We were told we were next. After waiting an additional 15 minutes ( and noticing nobody that came after us was waiting) we went back inside. A young high schooler was preparing to seat us when he asked if we were on the wait list. We said we were . The presumed hostess we had been dealing with took his tablet and said she was going to see what the hold up was . She came back , then tried to get the attention of an employee headed out of the door. He ignored her. She went in a different direction. We left. It was more than evident that our business was neither valued or appreciated. While I'm writing this my friend is speaking on the phone to"Tony, a manager " .
