I sat at the bar and the bar tender (Chelsea) was very friendly and fast. My only complaint is that I ordered too much food and couldn't eat it all. Haha. I had the Filet with a side of coconut shrimp, mashed potatoes, and house salad. The salad came out with bread, their bread is so good, how do you resist. Then my meal comes out... I added mushrooms to my steak and to my surprise they came out in a big bowl rather than on top of my steak. Not a big deal, just not what I expected. The coconut shrimp weren't my favorite, there wasn't anything wrong with them just my personal preference that they flavor wasn't my favorite. The steak however was very good as were the mushrooms and mashed potatoes. I know that a lot of restaurants are struggling with good staff right now but I saw a group of people who were really working as a team and were doing their best to provide good service to their customers. I'm pretty well done with this location. Had trouble a few months ago where I got home to find I had an incomplete on line order. Went back (due up no one answered repeated calls that I tried to place) and the manager did take care of it as well as gave a couple of $10 cards for the next visit. Realized in completing another on line order, those cards cannot be used on line. Tried calling to place a pick up order today (before the cards expire at the end of this month) and was transferred to the "to go" section where the phone rang for nearly 5 minutes. I hung up and went to another restaurant. I guess I still expect better from a steak restaurant than I get from a fast food drive thru. read more

One thing I love about the Outback is that it seems no matter which one you go to around the country they're all pretty consistently the same. The prime rib was good and what I expected. My only complaint is the call ahead seating. We called an hour before going and still had to wait 15 minutes to get our seat once there. Always a good time at outback and not much can go wrong unless they overcook or undercooked your food. We just got drinks and appetizers as we weren't that hungry. We ordered curbside pickup and it was a disaster. We were instructed to show up at 6:45 and the food didn't come out until 7:15. I know what you're thinking, 30 minutes, big deal, right? Well, in addition to waiting much longer than intended for our food, it was cold, leading us to believe that it had just been sitting there the whole time. I was raised to value being good at the easy things. When your job is just to pick up a bag and walk with it, you'd think it could be done in a way that doesn't ruin your customers' food. Seated me without a menu, after more than 10 minutes I looked the menu up on my phone and then made several attempts to get a glass of water and my order placed. So we arrived party of two and were given one menu to share! It was NOT busy! We ordered and everything seemed ok until, our waiter complained to the manager he has had to bus his own tables. Then the manager tried to give a table in another section and he refused and said you can't make me take a table that is already irritated. Then an argument took place between the manager and another server that she had to take the table, in the mean we had to wait to order our dessert and then it was not prepared right and took forever for us to get him back to the table to get it corrected, we waited about 15 minutes the second time and finally told the server to forget it and bring the check. He wanted to argue that we had to wait for it, we advised we were ready to go after all the drama and bickering. The manager never came to iur table, we could see him hanging out by the to go area. Lemme be a food critic for a second. First off, something crusty was on the back of my menu. As I looked through the menu, the "perfectly grilled salmon" caught my eye...I can assure you it was grilled but not perfectly. I barely tasted anything, and I found a bone in it. It started with my beer being served in a hot mug that had obviously just come out of the dishwasher. The salad and bread were as expected. I should have known I was in trouble when they tried to bring a steak to me three times with rice as the side when I ordered a baked potatoe. The fourth time the brought the steak with no side and said they were out of baked potatoes (at ~6:15 PM). Of course by this time, the steak was completely cold! I enjoy coming to this outback for dinner. Service can be inconsistent but the food meets my expectations for the Outback chain. I think it just depends what server you get to make or break the experience. The steaks are great and cooked to perfection as requested. I'm thrilled they have a tomato mozzarella salad now! I wish it was available as a side though. It is really delicious. The other salads are mediocre,the lettuce wasn't as green and fresh as I'd like. Every time I've had an issue they've been quick to correct it. Once I was given the ten once filet instead of the six ounce I ordered and they discounted my check without a problem. We hadn't been to Outback in a couple of years, but chose to go tonight for a rare "date night" out. There was a short wait, which surprised us on a Wednesday evening, but it wasn't long and the waiting area had ample seating. Our waitress was very friendly and quick to bring out our beers and hot wing appetizer. Our steak entrees, though, took *forever*... we noted a table nearby, who came in after us, had finished their meal & left before we even got our entrees. (My best guess is that our ticket got lost in the shuffle- both steaks were hot off the grill when they finally arrived on our table.) Once we finally got them, they were delicious. Both steaks (porterhouse and sirloin) were cooked as ordered and seasoned just right. Our waitress checked on us several times and brought anything we needed promptly. Went there about a year ago and had a fantastic dinner all the way through. Went there Friday night and it was 180 degree difference. Prime rib was supposed to be medium rare and came out very rare, well half of it. Asparagus was fibrous with black spots all over it. Does not care about the safety of patrons. I was by myself, eating dinner, when three young punks at the next table began, without provocation, to harass me. Their harassment was punctuated with threats to physically assault me in the parking lot. I did not respond to them, but spoke to the manager and asked that he call the police, as threats to my safety had been made. He refused, saying that Outback "might be sued" by the individuals harassing me. The fact that Outback WOULD be sued, by me if assaulted on their property, was lost upon this nitwit! For starters, I was going give this location two stars because my filet was good. However, I got sick later on in the evening so, one star it is. My husband and I came in on a Sunday afternoon approximately 3:50. There was a wait of 20 minutes. While waiting we heard the hostess and waitresses gossiping and complaining about customers taking too long to leave, having huge bills, and thinking that their credit cards would decline. It's one thing to say something away from people, but not in front of everyone waiting. That was really inappropriate and did not give a great first impression. We overheard a large party who made reservations come in and be told that it was still going to be a half hour or more to get them seated. So after approximately 33 minutes we finally get seated. Our table had a huge spot of epoxy that was missing. The hole is filled with remnants of food. Maintenance definitely needs to look at this because that's gross. We waited 20 minutes once seated for any one to come over and acknowledge us to take our drink order. Three other servers kept walking by and just staring at us. We couldn't even get a "hi, have you been helped yet?" Just cold hard stares. Once someone finally came over, we ordered too. The server acted offended because we wanted to order. Sir, you made us wait and wait and wait. We were hungry and becoming very hangry. We received our salads before our water. My salad had a inch long black hair in it. I didn't say anything. Who was I going to complain to? We got our food. The steaks were good and cooked perfect, but the loaded baked potatoes were lackluster. We didn't see our server again until it was time for the check. He was awfully quick to take our money tho. I feel like some people that work at this location really hustle and take care of their customers and others could absolutely care less. Our server for sure could have cared less. I mean the salt shaker on our table still had the plastic wrapping all over it and we never had a drink refill or were checked on.
