My husband and I went to this outback on 8/9:17 and were very disappointed....by lots of things. We were seated quickly as it was not busy in there, but that was the best part of this meal..... Our warm bread came out quickly! But the whipped butter had a piece of bacon in it. No biggie, but then our cheese fries came out with a side of ranch that had a large piece of lettuce in it. I fished the lettuce out and proceeded to eat a fry with so much salt on it we couldn't even taste the fries. The manager happened to be the closest person to the table so we asked him for help. He offered to remake the fries without salt. We said no, we would like a lesser amount of salt on our fries. The new order came out quickly, but it was almost as salty. So we wiped the excess salt off our fries as we were starving and did not want to wait. Our salads came out as ordered and were fine. Then we get our bill...2 large beers, a large order of cheese fries, a Cobb salad and a steakhouse salad plus tax was $50.49. A little pricey considering g the food. The steakhouse salad alone was $14.49. It's not worth that much money. A 6 oz sirloin meal is a much better value. The manager was kind enough to remove the fries from the bill but we would have rather paid for a better tasting plate of cheese fries! To top it off, the server failed to give me credit for my dine-rewards so I had to go online and enter the information myself in order to get credit for our meal. Logan was our server and he was awesome. We never had to ask for a refill on our drinks and he was always checking on us. Our son ordered a plain cheeseburger and fries and loved it. It advertises they take reservations so I called at Noon to reserve a table for 9 for a birthday celebration and was told by the female who answered the phone she would ask her manager and after a 4 minute hold was told They couldn't reserve a table at 5 pm but would do so for 6:30 pm. My husband and I went to the Outback at this location last night for my birthday. Outback is my favorite restaurant and this was one of the most negative experiences I've had at an Outback. Our server was Erin F. First, my husband ordered a Crown and ginger, and a Washington Apple. The server assumed that one drink was for him and one for me. Natural thing to assume, and not a big deal, but when she sat the Crown and ginger in front of him he said "No, I am four years sober, this is for her, it's her birthday." He then pushed the drink to my seat. The server did not say a word about it being my birthday, not even happy birthday. All she did say was I didn't know if you wanted the Washington Apple as a drink, or a shot so I brought a cup of ice. My husband replied with I wanted a birthday shot for her. Again, no recognition from Erin F. that this was a special occasion, nor did she take the Washington Apple that was in a normal glass and change it to shot glass. Our app was made to order and tasty. We ate the loaf of bread and would have gladly eaten more bread, but Erin F. was not around to request more. Also, having been a server, I realize that there are some things that should not require a customer asking for them outright. To make it more annoying Erin F. did not pre-bus our dirty app plates, empty glasses, and salad plates. They sat on the table until our food arrived. My husband finally started sharing my water with me because his was empty and never refilled. After we had eaten our meal Erin F. asked if there was anything else we would want. In response, my husband pointedly asked me "do you want any dessert for your birthday?" Again, the server did not say what Outback typically does for birthdays, if anything, or even utter some dessert suggestion to try and upsell me. Also, when we received the bill there was a charge for "layering" our app. We didn't get anything layered, but again it took forever for Erin to return to our table and by the time she did our 1 1/2 year old son had lost all patience. Maybe the manager could have corrected these issues, but I did not ask to speak to the manager because my husband was trying to do something nice for me and I didn't want to complain while we trying to celebrate. If you are going out for a special occasion go elsewhere. TLDR: Drinks were made in the wrong glassware, no pre-bussing, or refills of water or bread. server was told three times that we were celebrating my birthday couldn't be bothered. read more

Okay... I never have felt SO compelled to write a review for the service at a restaurant. Maybe it's because I'm from out of town, but I was completely blown away by the response of our sever and the restaurant's manager. The server went out of her way to meet the needs of our party - apologizing profusely for not getting to our table right away (because she was busy with other customers!), and even comped us a 'blooming opinion' appetizer! We thought that that was the end..., but oh no...! My aunt, didn't really end up enjoying what she ordered. Our server noticed, offered to remove the item from our bill, and have the kitchen expedite a replacement order. And because we had to wait for the new meal, the manager visited the table to apologize, check on our experience, and then comp desserts for the table!! Overall, our experience at Outback was great! We were seated right away, the food was well prepared, and served in a reasonable time. However the difference in this dining experience was the care and concern of the staff. It was truly above and beyond anything I've experienced at a family restaurant or even 'high end'restaurants. Based upon this experience I am very likely to return to this Outback, and I am now recommending it to you, my friends. Service still means something in some places, and this is one of them (that serves good steaks!)! read more

Waited another 15 for manager another 20 for cold entee to be recooked 2 hours of eating separately with no further words from management or server . They watched from 10 feet away. Worst Ribeye steak I've ever had. I'm not sure it was a Ribeye at all. First, I know it was 9pm but the entire shift was in clean up mode. All I could hear was the sound of clinking dishes. I should have noticed or taken note of the empty dining area. Second, I noticed blood on my bread board. I wish I had noticed before I ate the bread. The steak looked as though it been cooked, refrigerated, then reheated. The taste was aweful. You may be thinking this was just a one time event and this won't happen to you. This restaurant should be stripped of the Outback logo. Take your hard earned money to Longhorn Steakhouse. It's miles ahead of this Outback. Stay away from this sinking establishment. We ordered through Door Dash, (Grannysue's wicked indulgence). We ordered 3 dinners, 1 Steak, 1 Rib, 1 pasta with chicken and shrimp. We also added the lobster tails. Even with the transportation (less than 3 miles), the meal was tasty. The lobster tails were just a touch over cooked, but if you haven't had lobster across the pond I doubt you'd ever know. The bread was very good, but we had to share one small loaf. The only food related complaint that has caused four instead of five stars is the asparagus--It was hidden under the ribs and very floppy and seemed to be unseasoned. I added some salt and a little lobster butter left over and it was doable. Would we order again, we certainly will--we will just select another side item. read more

Went in at 8pm on a Wednesday. Got sat immediately at a table in disrepair. Looking around, there were 3 dirty, unbussed tables, and a server chilling in a booth with her guests. Had to go to the host stand for a server 10+ minutes later, where there were at least 5 of them all hanging around chatting, along with the manager and the host. The manager took our drink order, explained the server was overwhelmed with a table outside, and went to get her. After that, we saw multiple people. One brought the drinks, the server brought bread, took our order, and then we didn't see her again till entrees were delivered. We ordered a blooming onion, salads and bone in ribeyes. The Blooming Onion was so salty, it was inedible. The Caesar dressing had a weird tangy flavor, so I pushed that aside. My steak was cooked to the perfect temp, but so incredibly overseasoned with salt. I boxed it up with the hope of trying to fix it at home. I had the margarita flight, and they were just the house marg mix with heavy syrup at the bottom that had to be stirred up. They were terrible. I wound up ordering a tequila and soda with lime, and they forgot the lime. At this point we were asked how everything was, and we had so little confidence in the staff we chose to say ok, I'm full, we need boxes. Took my daughter there tonight to celebrate her birthday with friends and family. Immediately the manager asked if they could take her cake and refrigerate it for us? We called ahead and we're seated immediately. Drew and Casey were our waiters, both 100% top notch! Our service was quick, very friendly and on top of things for a party of 18. I visited there with my family and ordered the Victoria Filet Mignon along with a small addition of the coconut shrimp. The steak was not very thick like the Mignon is suppose to be, it was rather thin, not impressive at all and the shrimp was very small as well. Guess what...if you go to this steakhouse or any restaurant for that matter, there are a lot of variables. I used to work at this location serving, bar tending, even managing as a front of house key, working in the kitchen as an expo over many years and I loved it. People would ask me...is it good? It depends on a lot of things whether it's good to your standards. #1 (most important) who your server is! Just like any place of work there are lazy or inexperienced people and there is the exact opposite. Eventually you hope that lazy/bad attitude workers get weeded out and fired but in that kind of crazy environment people can learn to get by doing the minimum. Also, if its understaffed or a large party is near you, your server might have a LOT to take on. One high maintenance table or party can slow them down and keep them running (little own 3-6 tables) so pay attention to what your server is actually doing and not assume that they are slacking off or ignoring you, which is possible. Servers can spend most of their time (on a busy night) just waiting for an open computer to plug in your order, waiting for the bartender to make your drinks among everybody else's in the building, running food to other tables, arguing with the kitchen workers or other co-workers about where the hell your food is. If your server isn't pleasing you ask for another server immediately or speak to a manager! This is the ultimate way to bring attention to management about a bad worker. No, your food will not be spit in, no it's not ok to just give them a lousy tip and complain on Yelp about your bad experience. #2 what you ordered and who prepared it! If you get a good working and experienced server who is knowledgeable like they should be, ask them what their favorite things to eat are! Believe me, they know if they've been there long enough. Everyone is different but they can help guide you on what the better choice is (it's not a cheap well done sirloin that you want thick and juicy because that doesn't exist). If you go to any steakhouse and don't love the seafood/salad you ordered, that's on you and your poor choice (their seafood is actually really good because it's fresh never frozen). If the best grill cook or sauté guy isn't there that day your choice could end up backfiring on you. Feel the server out and talk to them with some back and forth, what kind of steak preference you have (lean, fatty, tender) whether you might like your steak cooked on the flat top or wood fired grill (wood fired is great to MY PREFERENCE but maybe not yours). Outback has changed over the years but it is still very good. Don't ever go to a restaurant once and write it off or say bad things about it. If it happens consistently then by all means slander the place into the ground. You could go to any place 3 days/nights in a row, order the same things, and have 3 different experiences. Mistakes can be made but It's consistency that makes a place great or not. It can be very hard to attain in a restaurant because of high employee turnover rates and lazy/bad attitude employees who find ways to stick around. A lot of people are in school or have it as a part time job. Inconsistency is what deserves bad reviews. This is the sad but honest truth to help you maximize your experience in an imperfect human world at a nice restaurant where the food is not pre-prepared and actually is fresh and take some skill to prepare read more

Ordered a to-go order...a grilled chicken cob salad and French onion soup. The chicken from the salad was missing so basically I was given a huge side salad. Didn't even eat it and after a long day of traveling and finally settling in to my hotel, I definitely wasn't driving back to get the correct order. My husband and I were not too impressed with this visit. As soon as I sat down I promptly put my hand in a big glob of something sticky. Our waitress was really pleasant though and very friendly. The crab stuffed mushrooms were delicious but that was about the only positive thing I can say about the food tonight. The salad I order was missing more than a few of the ingredients it has listed on the menu and the "mixed greens" was more like 1/2 a cup of iceberg lettuce, period. My husband ordered a full rack of ribs and he compared it to beef jerky dipped in good tasting BBQ sauce. He didn't even finish the ribs and for him that is rare! Well I haven't been to outback in a while, so maybe they have just changed the way they do things. The portions are smaller than they used to be, and the food is a cheaper quality than it had been. If you want any sauce (i.e. ketchup, ranch) you get a tiny little cup of it, and that is it. apparently it saves them money to dirty up a bunch of little cups then to just give you the amount you ask for to begin with. The server we had that day also needed an attitude adjustment. He was slow to fill drinks, and seemed to have a problem remembering anything we asked for. Went for lunch for a special occasion. We all ordered steak and some got steak and shrimp. Steak on all dishes were dried out and not cooked to order, the green beans were horrible. The service was bad, the server disappeared and did not come back until time to leave. No refills on drinks or bread or a follow up on anything needed. The restaurant was not busy and they seated a large group next to us, it was loud and ruined the mood of the celebration. The shrimp was the best part of the meal, that's why giving 1 star. We went to this location last night for a family dinner. I had called ahead and let them know there would be 10 of us. Out of the 10 of us they got 2 meals correct. On top of that they forgot to bring out parts of most of the meals. A lot of the food was cold, and I mean cold, not lukewarm. After we had ordered they informed us that they were out of lobster, pork chops, and potatoes. We had to wait on drink refills forever as well. This was easily the worst dining experience I've had in my life. The manager did give us a significant discount on the bill which helped some.
