My fiancé and I love this location to dine in! We come here on date nights quite often. Where ever we sit our service is amazing whether that's at the bar or at a table. The food was great! The wings is our go to choice and the strawberry kiwi Rita was excellent! Love this location!

Yall get into it please!!! I'm addicted to the wings. I always order through the app on my phone because you get points with each order placed. The points add up quickly to get the $5 off coupons!! I must acknowledge the wings are bigger now!! They were smaller until about a month ago. Now I feel like you truly get your moneys worth!! When they bring the order to your car the staff is always SUPER FRIENDLY & PLEASANT, THEY ALWAYS SMILE& I DO MEAN ALWAYS!! I absolutely love this particular Outback located on W Wendover it's my absolute favorite spot!! You could NEVER make me dislike them!! A friend & I ate inside about 3 months ago and the waiter was hilarious I can't remember his name but I'll never forget his face!! The atmosphere was relaxed and the crowd seemed happy all around us which speaks volumes to me! The quality of food is superb! It's always fresh and hot!

Now is the time to enjoy the Aussie Aussie Aussie three course meal. We chose house salads along with the grilled shrimp and loaded potatoes for the side. Bread comes with it of course and the shrimp sat on top of the same bread (the bottom half of a loaf). Unfortunately this was one of those nights where we laughed, talked and enjoyed ourselves, forgetting all about taking pictures of the meal. I did remember to snap the included desserts however. Note: there is a $3 upcharge if you select the chocolate thunder from down under and SOOOO worth it; the raspberry cheesecake is free as the third corse. Great opportunity to have two different options to share. Drinks were a little pricey but overall the food and the service were wonderful and made for a fun night out.

I went during lunch/opening time and my server was really high spirited and friendly. The food was nice and hot and I like the fact she informed us of the parmesan chicken bites were very garlicky, they were still good. The ambience of the restaurant was nice and settled it wasn't too cold inside. All the food we received was beyond our expections and enough to even carry home.

After, such a bad experience at the Westover Terrace Outback, we decided to try the other Outback on West Wendover in Greensboro. The main reason was because we had a gift card that we wanted to use. We called West Wendover from the parking lot, and were told there was only a five to ten minute wait. We added our name to "call ahead seating." When we arrived, we were prompted seated. We were greeted by a very attentive waitress that quickly brought us bread and our drinks. She took our order and checked on us often. We ordered a steak from their special menu. Everything from our house salads with Tangy Tomato dressing, to the loaded baked potatoes and rare sirloins topped with provolone and fried onion petals were very tasty. Our waitress' name was Rion, and she was excellent in every way. If every Outback experience was like this, we'd become a regular customer again. The ambiance was typical of all Outback restaurants.

This wasn't my best Outback experience. I found myself on Wendover and in the mood for a steak. Arrived about 630 on a Thursday and was seated immediately. I waited for about 8 minutes to be acknowledged by anyone--the manager walked by and took my drink order. The server arrived shortly after with my drinks and took my order. I ordered the Filet Shelia, sweet potato, and Caesar salad. My ordered arrived...missing a salad plus broccoli. The server stated she thought I said broccoli but remedied it by bringing the salad. The filet Shelia is a relatively new item that is two filet medallions with mushrooms and cheese melted on top, with some sort of sauce and "blooming carrots." It was good. I'm not a spice person--the heat built over time but was still tasty. The sweet potato was a total bummer! Half of it was hard as a rock, I was able to stick my fork in that part and lift the sweet potato off my plate.

Our party of three were seated right away. We got in a comfortable large booth. We thought it was too large for us at first, but it actually had the right amount of room. Our waiter Eric was attentive throughout the entire service. He visited our table to refill our drinks and to make sure we had everything we needed. I haven't been to Outback in a very long time. The first was my first time visiting this location. It was really hard to pick off the menu. Everything looked pretty good. We started with a bloomin' onion. It was tasty with the dipping sauce. I decided on the chimichurri filet cooked medium with rice, carrots and a house salad. The house salad came first. No complaints there. The steak was very tender and flavored well with the chimichurri sauce. The carrots were a real treat. The only thing I was disappointed in were the gingerbread cocktails. Clearly my cocktail was made first and was left to sit. The whipped cream had pretty much melted and the cookie was soggy. My friends ordered the same drinks. One friend's whipped cream was a little thicker, but still a bit melted. My other friend's was obviously made last and hers looked like the picture. One of my friend's ordered a second. It came melted, but had the little Christmas koala toy attached. We were disappointed the first set didn't have it. The waiter brought replacements. I would return for another visit.

Outback is good, if a little pricey for a generic steakhouse. They generally have slightly better service and food than similar restaurants and this location is no different. It is a newer location and I really like the new design however I prefer to eat at the bar. If you prefer to eat in a booth or table, you may feel a little crammed in with the new outback design. They really jam a lot of tables on the floor and it can seem tight and chaotic which is t the experience I'm after for the price. I hope they change this as they evolve the new layout but I doubt they will. Still, good food and service so I will be back.

Big shout out to Outback #3465 at 4518 W Wendover Avenue in Greensboro NC. Y'all made our Valentines Day Date awesome. We had the best experience with the staff, the food, and the cleanliness of the place. Brandi B was our waitress and she took very good care of us. Ask for her, you will be well taken care of. The steaks (medium rare) were cooked perfectly. The flavor of the steak was just what you would expect. Not tough, not burnt or raw, spot on and perfectly cooked. Met the Manager coming in and saw him again going out. Thanked him for having such a great team and told him Brandi was the best! Y'all go and check them out. They have a special this weekend: Three courses for one price. Good deal in my opinion. We definitely had an awesome time. Thanks again Outback #3465

A couple of friends brought us here, and it ended up being the best Cajun/Creole meal I have ever…read morehad. I started with a Cajun Martini made with jalapeño-infused vodka, and it was exactly what I hoped it would be. It did not taste artificially jalapeño-flavored; it had a real kick and just the right amount of heat. We started with the Crawfish Rangoon Dip, and honestly, I could have made a meal out of it. I have had Rangoon dips before, but this one was especially smooth and full of flavor. If I had been at home, I probably would have been tempted to run my finger around the bowl to get every last bit. For my entrée, I had the Shrimp Étouffée. Others at the table ordered the Duck Jambalaya, Shrimp and Grits, and Gumbo Yaya. My dish seemed to get better with every bite. The Creole stew was rich and deeply flavorful without being over the top. I was especially glad our waitress suggested adding a side of garlic bread to mop up the sauce. Even the garlic bread stood out, toasted on the grill with a slightly smoky flavor. It felt like real attention had been paid to every detail. We all tried each other's dishes, and I would happily go back and order any one of them. The banana pudding at the end of the meal was just as good. It had a strong banana flavor and was not overly sweet. Our servers were friendly and attentive, and the meal moved at a relaxed pace. We never felt rushed. My only complaint was the noise level. The restaurant has a tiled ceiling, and it got loud enough that at times, it was difficult to hear people on the other side of the table. Even with that, I would go back to Blue Denim!

The food continues to be wonderful here! This visit I went with the crawfish rangoon dip appetizer…read moreand the shrimp and grits entree. The crawfish rangoon dip was delightfully cheesy with large pieces of crawfish, the chili sauce was sweet and had a tiny bit of heat, and I loved the crisp and light wonton chips. The shrimp and grits were almost as delicious as I remembered from my visit years ago. There is a moderate amount of cajun spices, so if you don't like somewhat spicy food, you may want to ask to see if they can adjust this, but I loved it as is. My husband had the King Catfish plate and really enjoyed it, though we both agreed the Shrimp and Grits was superior. My only complaint with Blue Denim is the noise level. It is a small space with a charming interior, but given its tight quarters, it can get quite loud even if the restaurant is only half full. I'm not sure how they would go about fixing this, but if the weather is nice (as it was in this latest visit) I will opt to eat at one of their outdoor tables.

The dip is always so delicious - it's one of my favorite appetizers ever. The pita is really good too. I think they recently started adding cheese to it too which is good but not really necessary in my opinion. At first, they brought us pita that was really burnt but our waiter told us she requested a fresh batch without us even saying anything which I think is great service. I also tried their garlic parm boneless wings & they were so good. I loved how seasoned & salty they were, although they might be too salty for some people. I really loved it though! Their cocktail menu is also really interesting & creative. It's mostly whiskey of course but they do have other spirits. I tried the peanut butter & jelly Old fashioned and it was surprisingly delicious. It really did taste like a PB&J so I highly recommend. The inside is small but there's a nice outdoor seating area too. This really is one of my favorite places to get food in the area BUT the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because anytime I've been there remotely close to closing, they definitely let you know & make you feel rushed. I'm not one to go to restaurants last minute when they're closing because I know how that can make it difficult for employees, but being somewhere 45 minutes before they close shouldn't warrant getting rushed. I've been there before just to have a few cocktails at the bar about 45 min before closing & had the same experience. I still really love this place & will keep going (but probably not within an hour or so of closing lol)

The menu reflects this with cocktails, wine and beer and the menu is extensive on the beverages! The food menu is terrific and has so much variety and some really nice plates small and large. It was a theater night when we went and we had a 7.30 show to goto and our server knew that. We got there at 5.30 so figured that gave us the 10 mins to walk to the theater to be on time. We started off with some drinks. My friend loved her cherry ale and I really enjoyed my G&T , the glass it came in was just so unusual. The G&T took awhile to finally make it to me but i loved it. We ordered the tuna tartare and that was delicious and served up with fried green tomatoes which was a different take on it. Nice and fresh and nicely presented. Our entrees were the salmon for my friend and I had the Bahn mi chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Usually this sandwich is with pork so I wanted to try this. The service for our dinner took almost 45 mins we had finished the app awhile back and my grind had another drink and still we were waiting. It was closing in on 6.50 Pm and at this point we would be inhaling our food when it came and rushing out the door . It came at 7pm and the sandwich was good but they should mention on the menu that it has mayonnaise on it as I don't like that but there was quite a bit on the bun. Not typically in this type of sandwich so I wasn't expecting it. The chicken was a good and flavorful and lots of other veggie fillings and the fries were great. My friend really enjoyed her salmon and the risotto it came with. Just disappointed we had to eat it all so quickly and leave some so we could pay and leave. We had our eye on the lemon posset tart for dessert but we didn't have time . We just thought since the server knew we had theater tickets she would have been more on top of it. Yes they were busy as it was a show night but the place wasn't totally full. Seemed like no urgency when we asked how long the food would be as we had to leave soon. I'd maybe try this place again on a non show night, as I thought they had a great menu. I enjoyed the place just not the service as we barely made the show before the lights went down.

To top it off, the place has a great atmosphere. I can see this becoming a "spot" for sure. The miso soup, gyoza, and cheese rangoons are fantastic starters. The tuna nigiri was fantastic and practically melted in my mouth. I'd say the shrimp nigiri was good too. Both had great rice with the perfect texture. Also the hibachi fried rice is excellent, though I preferred beef over chicken with it. The highlights of the night were the specialty rolls. The Snow White sushi roll is satisfying with a lot of flavor in one bite. The Tiger roll was also stacked and made beautifully. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and they came out fairly quickly. The Korean BBQ Spring Rolls are very good! Now for the not so good part. We ordered the fish and chips to split- that was all we ordered after the appetizer and it took forever for our order to be brought to the table. We watched a couple tables around us, get their food before us, and they had been seated after us.. The server had to go back and check on our dish a couple times before it finally came out. I will say the fish and the chips were fabulous, but the corn was terrible and should probably not even be included on the dish. It was WAY overcooked and chewy. The coleslaw left quite a bit to be desired as well. No seasoning, no flavor and was just bland. When it says wasabi coleslaw, I am thinking it is going to have a little bit of a kick to it but nothing. They could definitely save themselves some money by eliminating the corn from this dish, make the coleslaw an option as an up charge and could lower the price on the dish in general or add a third piece of fish instead of the corn and coleslaw. We started out with cocktails. I had a Hendricks dry martini straight up (it was delicious) and my wife had a Don't Call Me Sweetie which is mix of Hendrick's Gin, Lemon, Cucumber, Basil, Simple, Saline 15. It is very citrus heavy, so be advised. She had them cut it with a bit of cranberry to offset the citrus. For main courses, my wife had the grilled salmon and she chose sautéed garlic spinach and wasabi slaw as her sides. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my side was blackened green beans. Let's talk main course first. My wife's salmon was terrific. Flaky and moist and very tasty. My shrimp and grits was unique because it was a real balance between large pieces of shrimp and the grits. Many times you'll order this dish and end up with a pile of grits with some shrimp sprinkled on top. This version is very tasty and a really nice balance of flavors. The Cajun seasonings have it some kick, but it did not overpower. The side dishes are where we had a couple of surprises. First off the sautéed spinach was really delicious, but my wife's wasabi slaw was bland. It's a huge shocker because when you see the word wasabi, you expected to have some Asian kick to it. This did not. It was hard to even identify that it had wasabi in it. That was a disappointment. The surprise was the blackened green beans. They actually were one of the stars of the show. Their flavor and texture was just awesome. We could've ordered a huge bowl of it and eaten all of it. While it didn't need it, there was a dipping aïoli on the side, just in case we wanted to add that to the green bean experience. As I mentioned off the start, Fishbones is a very casual experience. It's very pub-like in that way. We really loved it and the wait staff, which is a team approach as anyone who passes you makes sure you're doing OK, were kind, upbeat and helpful. Even with the bland slaw, we can't lower our rating because overall the experience was terrific. We will definitely come back.
