Celebrated my daughter's birthday at Ruth Chris. I got the Ruth 3 for $60. I ordered the Caesar salad, salmon and shrimp entree with garlic mashed potatoes. For dessert, I chose the original cheesecake. Kaylee was a wonderful waitress! She was nice! The manager even had some birthday confetti for the table. Enjoyed the food and experience.

My wife and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. He's been to many Ruth Chris locations around the country, but this was our first trip to the one here in Greensboro. We started out with the calamari for an appetizer. It's always been our go to when eating here. It was very good and exactly how I remember it always tasting. I love the sort of spicy chili sauce that they put on it. Gives it a nice little kick that's not overpowering, but definitely something that adds to the tastiness of this appetizer. I also got a bowl of the French onion soup. I've never had it from here before, and as this being my favorite soup, I was very intrigued to try it. The flavor was excellent and something that I would definitely get again. For my entrée, I went with the ribeye steak and the lobster tail. The steak itself was cooked at the correct temperature that I asked. However, it was a bit saltier than what I'm used to when getting steaks from other locations of Ruth Chris. Perhaps the chef had a heavy hand that night. I had to give it a little pat to get some of the salt off. The lobster tail though was perfection. Service was top-notch, and our waiter was very attentive and made us feel really good on a very special day for us.

We came because we had a gift card. We don't typically go to chain restaurants but figured this was our excuse to try it out. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The steak and seafood were cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. Unfortunately the quality food was dragged down by slow service and unreasonably high prices. The ambiance was fine, sat in a kind of business park with a decent atmosphere. We were glad we had a gift card though cause otherwise our bill would have been well north of $250 after tax and tip. The price was hard to justify with the poor service. Overall, it was a good meal but I probably wouldn't come back.

The service was excellent. The red restaurant was full of happy people celebrating. However, this was not a good experience for me. I ordered the 3 for $60. which, consisted of a salad, filet mignon and shrimp, mashed potatoes and a chocolate dessert. The salad was bland and tasted like it came right out of a freezer bag. No imagination. Just plain cold. I was offered the onion soup instead and it was also boring. The mashed potatoes were uneventful too. And Lastly, my steak and shrimp was just okay. Not good or bad. Just okay! I was very disappointed. In the past my food has always been delicious.

Love their Happy Hour! I've been in different states but I've never tried their regular menu myself. I feel as if this place is overhyped. High prices. Inflation is insane because I was paying $11 for the steak sandwich special in 2020. Our bartender was great! I forgot her name. The place is in a building under a bank I think . It's very dark inside. I love the ambiance but it's a bit too dark for cloudy NC days.

Amazing!! The steaks are always seasoned to perfection and very tasty. Our waiter was very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. 10/10 for me.

Literally my happy place, I have been several times. Not sure why I haven't left a review! Service is always point! I love sitting in the bar for happy hour if it's a spontaneous dinner. You can never go wrong with Ruth Chris . Everything on the menu is a hit my favorite is the stuffed chicken well done and creamed spinach ! I also enjoy the ahi tuna and artichoke dip. The bbq shrimp again you can't go wrong with anything! My favorite drink is the pomegranate Martini! They have happy hour from 4-8pm in the bar and that's a great time to try new apps, especially the zucchini fries I believe they are a bar only appetizer! Ambiance is nice from date night to any celebration but I love to go just because. If you're thinking about it just go and treat yourself!

    Great for a special occasion!

Not the place you go for a quick bite. But the do advertise a burger special. We always make reservations, and we never leave hungry. You can get a thick steak that weighs 44 ozs. But my husband and I usually split one. Great bread service, and salads, sides and of course the steaks! Not too long ago you could only order ala carte. Only the bread came with your entrée. Now, they have a section just for complete meals. But you'll still find diners leaving with large shopping bags with their leftovers. The dessert menu looks amazing. But I rarely get that far. Between the signature cocktails, and the main course, I'm usually all set. It's elegant, yet casual. Great for a romantic dinner, or a business lunch. You'll never be disappointed!

I've been to many Ruth Chris Steak Houses around the globe during work travels but had never been here for personal dining. I had a gift card but hesitated to use it on the greensboro location because of the restaurant being in an office building. That just seemed to lose some of the ambiance. But it was our anniversary and I was tired of looking at the unused gift card so I made a reservation. Wow, I can't wait to go back. Everyone in the restaurant acknowledged our anniversary including nearby guests. The ambiance was ok hence the one removed star. It wasn't quite the same level as other locations but it was still nice. Now let's talk about the food. We got the chopped salad which was amazing!!! I could have stopped right after that. The dressing was perfection. It was lemon basil. We both loved the salad. I got a small filet which had the most delicious and tasty clarified butter on it. The butter along with the sizzling plate and melt in your mouth steak was quite the combo. They let me order French fries and they were the best I've had in a very long time and I'm a fry snob. I appreciate them allowing me to get that. I hope to save some $$ and go again soon. It's pricey but the quality isn't what you can get in a normal steak house chain.

    Cut into this delicious ribeye!

Great evening. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server, Deanna was knowledgeable and pleasant. Very attentive and made our night special. Her recommendations were perfect and communicated my Old Fashioned tweaks to the bartender for a delicious cocktail. The restaurant was full but didn't feel crowded, music levels and choices were great and the rest of the staff worked together well. We had 4 other employees visit our table for service and the bidder at the end had the best personality! Sorry I missed his name. We started with the Lobster Mac and Calimari, the. Lettuce wedges and finally with a steak, Ribeye, perfect medium, great seasoning and awesome char on the outside. The manager stopped by to check us and invited us back again. We will definitely be back!

Ruth's Chris is widely known for quality food so I don't think there's any surprise that I'm giving a 5-star here. The food is excellent and the service was exceptionally friendly, all as expected. This isn't the type of place we frequent but every so often we want to go here and are never disappointed. They have a short happy hour in the bar which doesn't include drinks due to NC law but does include many nice menu items - this is when we normally come, both for a drink and a bit of savings.

I came here to celebrate my birthday last minute. Wanted a good steak but hate the service here!!!!! My server tonight , Kaiyana (sorry for misspelling) was AMAZING!!!! For the first time , I had GREAT service . She was very attentive and catered to my needs. Thank you!!! Your awesome!!

The inside is cozy and on the smaller side but so cute. We started with the buratta appetizer which came with focaccia and pesto which was all amazing. The pesto had a great garlic flavor and the bread was lightly toasted. For an entree, I had the Moroccan couscous with crispy chickpeas and even though the picture might look a little weird, I can assure you it was delicious. The chickpeas were really crispy as promised and the flavor was delicious. It was well seasoned and the sauces were so good. The green one was a mint parsley I think and the orange was my favorite - red pepper tahini. My only complaint would be that I want more of the sauce because it was so good. I really enjoyed & I appreciated that they had this vegan option. They have tons of wine & the cocktail menu is also great. The waiter was super friendly and quick. Lewis and Elm delivers a 5 star experience on so many levels. Many people I've spoken with think it's just a wine bar. Oh no, it goes well beyond your typical wine bar. First off, they have a full bar with a huge specialty cocktail list, craft beers, non alcoholic options and even THC drinks. We had amazing wine off of their impressive list, plus a few cocktails that were mixed extremely well. The food: amazing to say the least. Charcuteries, meats, cheeses, apps, finger foods, and a few uniques you have to get (one in particular). We enjoyed a beautifully plated charcuterie (see pic), the caprese bruschetta, a goat cheese pesto bruschetta, and that one in particular: the medjool dates. Everything was delicious, but these dates were on another level. The dates were surrounded by a bed of creamy Brie cheese melted perfectly, topped with crispy prosciutto and sprinkled with a balsamic reduction. All of this is easily mopped up with the fresh focaccia the dish comes with. This dish rocked! It was perfect on its own, but paired amazingly well with both the chilled white wine and the cocktails we were enjoying. The vibe is amazing as well. Upscale but super comfy interior. Come casual or dressed to impress, it all works here. Live music on the weekends add to the atmosphere and the whole experience. Come for the whole evening, or pre-dinner/pre-show drinks and bites, or even for a night cap after a dinner or show. Come for a quick pit stop, or stay for the live music. It's an all around excellent experience with great drinks, food, service and vibe.

The menu reflects this with cocktails, wine and beer and the menu is extensive on the beverages! The food menu is terrific and has so much variety and some really nice plates small and large. It was a theater night when we went and we had a 7.30 show to goto and our server knew that. We got there at 5.30 so figured that gave us the 10 mins to walk to the theater to be on time. We started off with some drinks. My friend loved her cherry ale and I really enjoyed my G&T , the glass it came in was just so unusual. The G&T took awhile to finally make it to me but i loved it. We ordered the tuna tartare and that was delicious and served up with fried green tomatoes which was a different take on it. Nice and fresh and nicely presented. Our entrees were the salmon for my friend and I had the Bahn mi chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Usually this sandwich is with pork so I wanted to try this. The service for our dinner took almost 45 mins we had finished the app awhile back and my grind had another drink and still we were waiting. It was closing in on 6.50 Pm and at this point we would be inhaling our food when it came and rushing out the door . It came at 7pm and the sandwich was good but they should mention on the menu that it has mayonnaise on it as I don't like that but there was quite a bit on the bun. Not typically in this type of sandwich so I wasn't expecting it. The chicken was a good and flavorful and lots of other veggie fillings and the fries were great. My friend really enjoyed her salmon and the risotto it came with. Just disappointed we had to eat it all so quickly and leave some so we could pay and leave. We had our eye on the lemon posset tart for dessert but we didn't have time . We just thought since the server knew we had theater tickets she would have been more on top of it. Yes they were busy as it was a show night but the place wasn't totally full. Seemed like no urgency when we asked how long the food would be as we had to leave soon. I'd maybe try this place again on a non show night, as I thought they had a great menu. I enjoyed the place just not the service as we barely made the show before the lights went down.
