By far one of the most organized, well established chain restaurants that I have visited in a long while. The service was exceptional. Our waitress, miesha, was attentive and had excellent knowledge regarding the menu. The food was cooked to perfection, my steak the perfect medium rare and the roasted garlic butter topping covered all of my steak and made each bite delectable. The management is remarkable as well. Our table was visited by one of the managers, even though our meal was perfect, they made sure to check on every table and make sure that everyone was having a great time. Place sucks. Ordered a $30 steak and it comes out cold and raw. The service was very slow, couldn't find the waitress for a good 25 minutes. Been in the Restraunt for 2 1/2 hours total. After complaining to them, they didn't do anything. I'll never be back. read more

Last minute Friday night choice for dinner. We have been here before and everything in the past had been just OK. Had the grass fed burger this time and it was horrible. The cheese fries were soggy, the salmon was undercooked and some kind of onion slop sauce on the undersized burger. The waitress was very nice and attentive even though she was very busy. We avoided the 35 minute wait by grabbing a bar table but wished we went somewhere else. We all left saying we do not need to come back anytime soon. read more

Went to Outbacks this evening and was dissapointed again for the second time. Last time my fillet was very rare after asking for medium well. This time the same thing. Waited for a half hour for the appetizers. This is the last time I will go to the Outback in Hamilton or anywhere else. Too many other restaurants that are better. Not good at all! read more

I used to like this restaurant, but my last few experiences have been disappointing. We waited over 45 minutes for a seat (ok that can be typical in any restaurant during dinner hour). But after we were seated, we waited 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence. When the food came, my husband's chicken was very dry. My steak was supposed to be cooked medium and it was RAW. Purple inside. I had to send it back 3 times just to get it close to medium. At that point it was so dried out from me cutting into it to see if it was cooked properly, I couldn't eat the whole thing. I'll go to Longhorn across the street next time. read more

Went there on a sunday night, 5/17/15. We have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions and enjoy the steaks, ribs and related items. Food is good, atmosphere is casual and pleasant and we can usually get a seat to keep an eye on our favorite sporting event on tv. Tonight, we ordered onion soup for an appetizer. Delicious. Classically prepared, with bread and lots of cheese on top. We decided to try the new tacos for dinner. We both love mexican food and eat tacos frequently. What a dissappointment. Both my steak tacos and my husband's fish tacos were tasteless. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was well done. Even the garlic sauce to go with the tacos didn't have a lot of flavor. Tacos were supposed to have cheese and they didn't have any cheese. Shared a slice of cheese cake for dessert, which was good. Normally service here is friendly and good. Tonight it was cold and awfully slow. We could have taken a nap between appetizer, dinner and dessert. I used the bathroom after dessert, had to wait in a line, and my husband was just getting the check as I exited the rest room. In sum, we have had so many good experiences here we will probably go back, but hopefully we will get a different waiter and we won't order tacos for sure. read more

I ordered online for carryout to go. Vey disappointing! I ordered the Firecracker Salmon with a baked sweet potato. Both were wrapped in foil inside the Styrofoam container, which left both wet and soggy. The fish had no seasoning and had no taste. It was supposed to come with "fresh mango salsa," which is one of the reasons I ordered it, but it was missing. There was also no taste from the "wood fire grill." $17.99 way too much money for something with no taste! read more

WOW! A wonderful experience! My steak was exactly as I ordered it, the service was great (Our server, Dana, was absolutely wonderful.), and the drinks were perfect! My wife and I will be going back. Went to eat here ordered my 3 yr old the Steakhouse Mac. I found a hair in the food which is a simple mistake. The waitress took the food back within a few seconds she came back with a manager with new Mac but the parmesan wasn't on the top anymore. He said they always make a lot of it. I go to the back as he is talking to my wife. I here the waitress say that she scrapped the top off and gave it back to us and she was laughing. I flipped out on the manager because that mac was for my son. we didn't give it to him. I threw the money for the food on the table but I wasn't leaving a tip. Watch eating at this place. read more

We dined last eventing at your steakhouse. We were very pleased and happy with our server, Monique. She was most attentive and pleasant. However, your Manager, Helen, went well beyond her duties. She came over several times to our table, was most attentive and really was a pleasure to meet. It was our 47th Anniversary and she made it extra special for us. Also upon exiting the waitress at the doors wished us a Happy Anniversary. It made our special day, even more special. We will certainly be coming back. The food was outstanding and delicious. We will be certainly telling all of our friends and family what a great experience we had at your restaurant. Please pass this along to headquarters. Horrible! What you see on the menu is not what you will see in your plate! This was my first and my last time ever to dine at this resturant. They were not even busy yet the order was nothing compared to the photo. Part of my order was to consist of aussie fries which consisted of cold, limp greasy fries with a side of mayo????? I thought fries n mayo was Canadian? My crab cakes where smashed, no seasoning n nothing to put on it. Took for ever to just get the bill. Never again. read more

We went to Outback early on a Saturday, right around 5 pm. The wait was a bit long - about 45/50 minutes but we were fine with that on a Saturday. We heard the hostess tell multiple people that the bar high tops and seats at the bar were first come, first serve so keep an eye out if those open. Well, a booth in the area (NOT first come, first serve) opened up and we witnessed people just slide on in and get service! Pretty annoying when you've been waiting and they sneak themselves into a table. Finally, we got seated and ordered an appetizer and some steaks. Approximately an hour later, we noticed that other people who were seated after us were receiving their meals. Well, the manager came over to us and let us know the kitchen "lost" our ticket so our food hadn't even been started to be cooked! After we waited 45 minutes to be seated and an hour for our food! Eventually our food came out and my ribeye was mostly fat (so much was left the waitress asked if I wanted a box for it.) The only "apology" we got was a card for free appetizer during our next visit......as if we will ever come back. Typical Outback food. Service depends on the day. To go orders are not always prepared in a timely fashion.

Normally we find Outback to be pretty good, not the case anymore. We arrived a bit late for a Saturday night, just before 9, they are open until 10:30. Service from the greeter and waiter was fine. Ordered chicken and rib combo and a wedge salad, wife ordered pasta and chicken. The wedge salad was fine, but the entrees were horrible. Just a small piece of dry, overcooked chicken and three small ribs for $15.99. Zero presentation, no garnish, nothing that made me say, "mmm that looks good" I wouldn't have fed this chicken to my cat, but it was late and I needed protein, so I ate what I could stomach. Pasta and chicken came out the same, a blob of pasta Alfredo and a small, overcooked piece of nasty, stringy chicken. Normally we just smile and say "fine" when the waiter asks if it's OK, but this time we let him know it was terrible. A few minutes later, the manager tried to smooth it over and offered us a $20 credit to return. They also took $4 off the bill, the price of the added chicken to the pasta dish. Needless to say, we won't be back. Outback is out! read more

We went there today for my adult daughter's birthday. The waitress came to the table with an attitude, which did not change. We ordered the 6 ounce Filet Mignon, very rare, it was as flat as a pancake. the waitress said it was because it was the small one, so I told her to take it back and give me the bigger one, 10 ounce one. She brought back one of the same size, and it was also flat like a pancake. I was charged for a 10 ounce, which I took home, and it was not a 10 ounce, but 5 ounces. My husband ordered a burger, which was very small. The meal, which was sub par for 3 people cost $83, and we only ordered 3 entrees one ice tea and one beer. Needless to say we will not be back, I cannot believe they can stay in business. read more

Although I love Outback Steakhouse, I have to give this location only 2 stars. The last two visits, which were spaced apart by 6 months resulted in the same issues for their signature steak offering. Although the steak was ordered medium, it came out well done. When it was returned to the kitchen, the next steak fired for the entrée came out rare. Meanwhile, everyone at the table had finished their meals before the steak was brought back to me. Recommendation is for drinks and appetizer place. read more

Would not recommend this restaurant to any body. As a matter of fact I will discourage my family and friends from going there. Wait time was awful and people coming in after us were seated before us. the table next to us was seated at there table a few minutes after us and they were leaving before we even got our meal. TERRIBLE just about sums up both the service and the food here. First of all, expect to wait to be seated even if you have a reservation. Secondly, the waiter didn't seem like he cared at all about us. But most importantly, the steaks were awful; we ordered the NY Strip and even the premium bone in Porterhouse & Rib-Eye. I've never had steak that tasted so awful and you can just tell that they were of low-quality and improper preparation. My advice is to AVOID THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION. Waste of money. read more

probably the worst dinner experience. the restaurant was empty when we walked in yet they still made us wait 20 minutes for a table because they said they were under staffed and wanted us to have the best service. that back fired. it took another 20 minutes just to get our drinks, after all that they forgot one persons steak. we were all finished eating and the last meal finally came out. read more
