Looking back, I couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the evening. When we arrived, there was a huge line of people waiting, which is usually a sign that something special is happening inside. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess with a beautiful smile who assured us the wait would only be about 30 minutes. We decided to grab a couple of seats at the bar while we waited, and that's when the evening started feeling extra special. The bartender welcomed us with a smile and the very first words out of his mouth were, "Happy Birthday!" To this day, I'm not sure how he knew, but it immediately made me feel welcomed and appreciated. We enjoyed glasses of the house red wine, a wonderful Ribera del Duero from Spain, and shared an order of beef croquettes that were absolutely amazing. True to their word, about 30 minutes later, the bartender personally escorted us to our table. Our server, Iliana, introduced herself and quickly became one of the highlights of our visit. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our experience memorable. We shared the 12-ounce Denver Wagyu steak and the 12-ounce lechón asado, accompanied by moros, plátanos maduros, and tostones. Every dish arrived fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. The quality of the food was outstanding from start to finish. Just when I thought the evening couldn't get any better, the staff surprised me by bringing out a flaming pineapple while singing Happy Birthday. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration feel even more special. Inside the pineapple was a Crema Catalana that was simply incredible and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
