Very disappointed in the choice of Prime Rib from this restaurant. 1st it's only available on Friday -Sunday, 2nd it's only available warmed on the grill like a steak indicating it's refrigerated after cooking and carving. This is not Prime Rib, it's a precooked steak cheapening the whole experience one gets from fresh sliced and still warm cuts. I guess Texas Roadhouse will be my only choice for this meal unless I make my own and of course do it the right way. Change your way of offering this cut of meat or take it off your menu. However, on a brighter note, the service was great as was my second choice of food, bone in rib eye was cooked properly and our wait staff was excellent. Stopped in for the Three Course menu promotion. Excellent service by Rachel. Hubby had breaded shrimp, house salad, and cheesecake with chocolate sauce. Everything was great. Order was supposed to have 8 shrimp, but it came with a lot more. I'm guessing they were supposed to be larger shrimp. Nice portion overall. I had the burger with fries, caeser salad, and cheesecake with raspberry sauce. Burger was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Salad had too much dressing, but was still delish. Great value. Great food. Outback I truly hate giving a one star review. In all fairness the review is based on the service or rather lack of, not on the food which was quite good. I'm writing this review as we are waiting for our server, it is now going on twenty minutes that I requested a refill on a soda. Luckily I was able to flag down a hostess for the refill. We would have ordered dessert had the server of come back to check on us. Instead serves are hanging out and talking by a server station/area near the restrooms. A Ziosk at the table is not an excuse for lack of service. I'm hoping someone from corporate sees this review and corrects this problem. Just an addendum to the original one star review. I was contacted by a manager who was concerned about our dining experience. We will be planning a future visit and will update the original review based on that experience. Weekday Lunch- took the waiter to get to us because she was serving one half of the restaurant. The atmosphere of the restaurant seemed new which is nice to see the clean update. We went for lunch today just looking for a little lunch. Turns out the Outback has a special where you choose your entree and pay accordingly. You get a salad and a side (mashed, sweet potato, fries, etc.) I chose the 6 oz. sirloin and my friend had the 8 oz. sirloin. both were done just right. The salads were fresh and a nice size. Came to dine in with my wife for the first time, and we were both very impressed with the restaurant. The restaurant alone was very clean from the exterior of the building to interior of the building. The music wasn't so loud either like other restaurants.. Outback is our go to curbside take out restaurant when we want some steak and don't feel like cooking it. We've ordered a good dozen times and while there have been some misses, they are mostly hits. As for the misses, a quick call back to the restaurant and they are happy to correct any issues or complaints and that is a huge plus. The steaks are often cooked more well done than ordered, but this could also be partially because we get curbside and they sit much longer than eating in restaurant. It's ok by me, but for example if you order medium for curbside, you'll get home with medium well cooked steak so keep that in mind when ordering. We've also had the salmon (my husband really enjoys this), Alice springs chicken (smothered in melted cheese, bacon and mushrooms), and babyback ribs. We were in town for a hockey tourney and had a late game due to the rink running behind. My son (14) loves steak so we were SUPER excited to see this location was open until 11pm. This is a solid Outback location. The service here is pretty fast, and the food is consistently good. Our appetizers, salads, and entrees were all timed well and we enjoyed our meal. For being a less expensive chain steak restaurant, we really enjoy their steaks. They're seasoned well, yet really moist. We all thought our steaks were more done than we ordered, but the taste makes up for it. They have outdoor tables as well as socially distanced ones inside and everyone is wearing masks. Well it's disappointing but not terrible. My friend treated me out in the celebration of my new dream car that I got. It was right across the Volkswagen dealer in Naperville and he just came from Florida just to take a look at my new set of wheels. He was also hungry too and he was somewhat in a budget to spend. Anyways the reason for the three stars is because compared to the past summer that we went to outback last year they had a lot more choices despite the pandemic. after our crazy Governor closed everything around the autumn of 2020. They had limited choices on the menu especially the stakes. There were certain state cuts that don't have bone in in the past last year. Which was a big disappointment. Because I remember seeing a porterhouse without having to pay the extra bone that you're wasting money for and making a steak. Also I'm not going to name a server or waitress but it's kind of odd that on the side order that we ordered our steaks my friend who I picked up from Florida did not get his salad. He had addressed it to me and I had to mention it to our server which I'm going to keep unanimous. She did give it to him but just the fact that she should have taken the responsibility to remember was a disappointment. Next to how busy it was even though they had followed covid safety of one table over the other we stayed at the bar to have a dinner for service.
