My father, a friend and I went last night as our friend was leaving town the next day and we wanted to have a special send off. 21 Main did not disappoint. The experience begins as you pull up in the circular drive and are greeted my friendly and helpful valets. You then proceed to walk through the wooden doors to a modern and expensive steakhouse which also features excellent sushi. You were then seated at your reserve table, given menus and introduced to your waiter. The waiter we had last night Adam, I've had before and is excellent. We ordered drinks from the extensive cocktail and wine menu and then begin to peruse the menu. There were no specials this evening, which made ordering less tempting, but a bit easier. our drinks arrived, followed by hot fresh baked sourdough bread, and we begin ordering our appetizers in main course. We settled on the crab cocktail and the shrimp cocktail for appetizers. My father went with a lobster bisque and then we ordered our mains. I went for the 12 ounce prime fillet mignon with an au poivre sauce the side of sautéed mushrooms and cream spinach. My father not eating his hearty as he used to what for a portion of chicken tenders and some mashed potatoes while our friend went for their signature prime, 30 day aged, bone-in 20 ounce ribeye. Then we sat back they enjoyed the atmosphere. The tables were set up airy, yet formal with plenty of room. The middle of the restaurant is a sushi bar area and behind that is the regular bar. Both modern yeah tastefully done. After some small talk, our appetizers came out and my father's lobster bisque soup. The lump crab meat was fresh and flavorful of serve with a nice Housemade cocktail sauce. The same goes for the shrimp cocktail, which were fairly large, serve with a wedge of lemon and two choices of sauces. I went for the traditional cocktail sauce, which was excellent. My father loved his lobster bisque, flavorful creamy and texture correctly. He finished the entire bowl. Our waiter now prepped for the main courses by removing all used plates and utensils from the table. He then brushed the table for crumbs to make sure the canvas was completely clean before the main event. Then the food was presented to the table by the food runners and the waiter , all done in an unobtrusive way. They use a cart to wheel out the food, which is very smart and then, of course it's used for presentation for certain dishes like the bone in rib-eye. Our waiter prepped the steak by removing the bone and slicing up the meat before putting it on the plate for presentation. It is something that is often missed in today's world, but adds a very nice touch. The steaks were excellent, flavorful, juicy, seasoned perfectly and incredibly tender. They were cooked perfectly as ordered. The sides were fantastic. The Yukon gold mashed potatoes were creamy, the sautéed mushrooms were delicate but packed a lot of flavor and the spinach had a perfect amount of cheese and lots of Smokey taste from the bacon. Did I mention everything is made from scratch! After a meal like that, I was stuffed but my father saved room for his favorite part of the meal...dessert. He went with the chocolate sauce covered brownie and homemade ice cream combo. It must have not been a mistake as he ate the entire thing. You could see the chunks of candied pecans, and fresh strawberries on top of the brownie with homemade vanilla bean ice cream next to it. I did not even have a chance to put a spoon in there! We then ordered the check, which was not cheap but worth every penny. It will continue to be one of my "go to's" especially for special occasions.

We did not care much for the crunch roll. It is not that bad but for the price we expected better. Now into the good stuff. Seared wagnu is the best we ever had. The inside is not overcooked so you can still taste the freshness of the meat. Both filet and ribeye are cooked perfectly the way we want it. While the outside is crunchy, the inside is still pinky and juicy. The ribeye has more fat than we want but still it is both soft and crunchy at the same time. The drinks are also good. Sake tini is my favorite. Both dessert are excellent. Tiramisu and brulee are mouthwatering tasty. One thing I hate was that they charged us for the steak sauce. I wanted to try different steak sauces and did not know they charged us for each. Hate any places that charge for sauces and that is why 3 stars

We ordered drinks then dinner. I ordered a 10oz Prime Rib, medium rare, with a "loaded" backed potato. Our food came out in 10-15 minutes. I was barely able to cut one piece of meat off my prime rib with the steak knife provided, and I was completely unable to chew it. The potato was small, overcooked a only had a bit of butter, sour cream and a few chives sprinkled on it. After unsuccessfully chewing on the one piece, I tried to cut other pieces off the off the steak without success. I notified the bartender and she asked if I'd like something else so I said I'd try the NY Stripe. She took my plate back and returned shortly with a blacked Stripe steak that was about as thick as my pinky. It was cooked medium and tough to chew. Lastly, all steaks come with an old school salad bar...a smaller version of what you'd see at Golden Corral. The one we could see from where we sat always had a long line and my one trip through I was underwhelmed. Obviously, everything came out of a bag or can and several of the toppings bins were empty. I'm still amazed how many people I saw in the place who were obviously regulars.

My husband thoroughly enjoyed his burger. Last but not least, I ordered the molten chocolate cake. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed as the molten part was really only some thick chocolate sauce on top of a slightly warmed (maybe via microwave) chocolate cake. The place was exactly as I remembered it. Service was quick and friendly and even though we were seated inside, we still had a great view of the marina and some parts of the water. Outback in N. Myrtle Beach has the worst customer service on North Myrtle Beach. The food is good. Outback is always very consistent & delicious. However, the bartenders, servers & managers are awful!!! These people simply do not comprehend the concept of customer service. If they did not have the name Outback carrying them, they would be out of business. Locals NEVER eat there. I just moved from Wilmington, NC to N. Myrtle Beach. I have eaten there 5 times in the last 3 months & every time their were issues. Take last visit for example. I ordered Lobster & Shrimp bites. There was 1 tiny piece of what appeared to be lobster meat. The rest was shrimp. Very misleading. In addition, the dipping sauce was left off. I had to wait 7 minutes to get the waiter to come back to the table. It was cold by then. I asked where the sauce was. He agreed they left it off & the runner did not catch it. He leaves & 5 minutes later returns w/ such that barely covered the bottom of the ramekin. I was like "seriously", so he went & got more. Food cold. After eating the No Lobster & all Shrimp bites that were cold, I waited another 20 minutes for my burger which came out cold. When I complained to the manager he caused a scene that was embarrassing. Every time I eat there I get TERRIBLE SERVICE! Ruth Chris, Greg Normans, Thoroughbreds, Filets & Boardwalk Billy's among others are incredible. I would recommend avoiding the chain restaurant Outback that hires kids & indigent people that could care less about pride & service & just want a paycheck. Amazing experience. I recently called the outback steakhouse and did the call ahead seating for a larger party. Hayden answered the phone and not only was professional but told me that we should come at least 5 minutes before our defined seating time. We met him at the front and he greeted us as if he known us for years. We went to the bar where we met Jenny and Celeste and their service was so spectacular that we decided to stay at the bar and have our meal. We came in to celebrate our 30th anniversary before renewing our wedding vows with our entire family. I had done call ahead seating but accidentally reserved spots at our local spot instead of . Without hesitation or any issue at all, we were seated all together and had amazing servicw. Fast, friendly and no mistakes at all. David was our server and he did fantastic!! They definitely need some severe training The room had at least 75 to 100 people in it and there were only two staff. I ordered broiled, seafood, platter, fish Oyster and shrimp. The shrimp were just like salad shrimp the oysters were like dried cardboard that were rehydrated. And the fish was soggy and disgusting. If you're on local, you're going to get waited on way before anybody else! Saturday night is karaoke night as a heads up. Once I got my bill, I had one amount and after giving him my credit card, my bill went up three dollars. It's not a matter of the amount of money but the fact that they charge because you use a credit card. The woman at the front desk states there's a notice on the front door. I took a picture of the front door and there is nothing telling you about surcharges for credit cards. There's also nothing on the menu either. The meal overall was a one out of 10. It was laying in fluid I thought was going to be butter. But I have no idea what it was. It was disgusting! The hush puppies are something, but I don't know what they are. I would highly suggest going somewhere else . As you can see in the photographs, the menu has various items. A very large selection of those items are all listed as market price. So when your waitress finally arrives at your table, you're going to have 30 questions on what pricing is. And they get upset when you ask them those questions.

I will take it from here" as I gave him the keys to my car and he handed a ticket to identify my car. They still confirmed our arrival on their list and after waiting for a few minutes, they sat us at our table earlier than the opening time and started service. Out of the many places I have been to, it is the first time I see servers all come out at once with a demeanor of "it is go time". No hesitation, not dragging their arms... it looked like they had been waiting for this moment and it could not come soon enough... they were eager to serve us. I had my youngest child who is very inquisitive and the server had no issues answering questions and making concessions. What the server described about the things we were ordering was on-point. We knew exactly what we were getting and, quite honestly, the food and beverages were even better than described even when she was very detailed. I noticed a gentleman who was prepping our plates and believe me when I say, this fella was making sure everything was perfect. We could see the body language and the focus when setting everything on the plate. He wanted nothing out of place. That said, the food was nothing short from incredible. I had a New York strip steak which is probably my favorite cut. The seasoning, the cook and the tenderness was so great that I believe this might have been the best steak I have had and I have had many from the east coast all the way to the west and from north to south. The server came around the perfect amount of times to refill, ask if everything was okay or to take plates away. We were never left unattended at the point we felt we were the only ones there although the place was getting busy very quick. Food came out very prompt, but the quality never suffered. The manager came to us, introduced herself and said "if you need anything, do not hesitate to call me over". Once we were done enjoying our meals, my server asked me for my ballet parking ticket. She said to not worry about rushing but that she would keep an eye out for us and would make sure our car was ready by the time we needed to leave. When we closed our tab and started to leave our table, I could see her rush to the ballet and come back. By the time we walked to the door, my car was right there waiting for me. Plain and simple, I know it is fine dine. But I have experienced places that when you come with children they may not take you as serious or put you wherever you wouldn't bother anyone and even put you in the back burner. Here? If this is not excellent service, with staff that cares and high quality food, I don't know what is. This place has high standards and it shows. So, I will confidently say, you don't have to try this place... you NEED to try this place. I have never been as confident about recommending a place as I am about New York Prime. This is a well oiled machine that will not let anyone down. Great job to everyone who was serving guests on August 20, 2026 at 5pm. You guys rocked it! Customer experience 101 at the best of its versions!

They started a Thursday night all you can eat BBQ buffet. Ribs, pulled pork, chopped pork and BBQ chicken. The sides change a bit from week to week but favorites like collard greens, sweet potatoes, beans, squash, potato salad, fries and hush puppies are some of the fare as well as rolls and a cobbler or pudding. They have other buffet days (I think Sundays too-check schedule) There is a bar attached and you can eat at either the bar or restaurant side. There is usually the news or sports on the televisions on the restaurant side.
