    Beautiful Winters Day in SC!

Stopped by Greg Norman's Australian Grille for lunch during a road trip back from Florida in early January, and it was a fantastic find. I sat at the bar to catch up on some Premier League soccer and enjoyed a great meal: the Kangaroo appetizer (highly recommend!), a fresh salad, and a crisp glass of white wine. The staff, all friendly, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming--a perfect break from the road. Whether you're looking for a unique bite or just a comfortable spot to watch the match, this is a great choice.

Greg Norman's is amazing! My family dined last night at Norman's at Barefoot Landing and had a great time! Shout out to Deb our waitress for being hospitable and taking care of us. It was my first time having Kangaroo and it didn't disappoint! I also enjoyed my Bison filet was very tender! Highly recommend Norman's to anyone who loves steak or is into Exotic meats. Atmosphere and views from the outdoor seating is stunning also!

Stopped in to check out small eats and have a drink. Was hoping for a steak sandwich or something. Had a drink and left. Drinks were delicious.

We took an Uber to Greg Norman Australian Grill. We got there just in time for our reservation. We were seated and our waitress came right over. I ordered a chocolate martini and he ordered an expensive scotch. They were delicious. We decided to share the jumbo shrimp and they were jumbo. And delicious. I liked that they had a rail to walk into the restaurant. For dinner he ordered the steak au poive and I ordered the small filet wugu style. For dessert, we ordered the blueberry crème brûlée. Everything was delicious. If you see me there, stop by and say hello.

We had a wonderful waitress named Megan. She was so kind and knowledgeable of the menu. My boyfriend and I got the Escargot & oysters for appetizers. Both were delicious! I got the 12 oz prime rib with scallops à la carte. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly! The scallops were great, but $16 for 3 scallops were not worth it tbh. My boyfriend got the Wagyu ribeye with the lobster tail à la carte. That was yummy, too. My wine was the Sauvignon Blanc house glass. Overall, great experience with a great view!

Been coming here for a couple of years, and somehow, I realized that I never got around to writing a review. Time to fix that because this place deserves my 5 stars! First time I came here, I had to try the kangaroo because how often do you get the chance to eat Australia's most famous animal? No regrets. In fact, I order it every single time I come here. It's absolutely worth trying! The escargot is delicious and I love dipping my bread in the leftover butter. I'll also steal a bit of the crab dip from my wife. On my last visit, the She-Crab Soup was the soup of the day, and apparently, it's the most requested for a reason. It's creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. Just be on the lookout for the occasional shell. The only negative experience I had was when I decided to splurge on the Wagyu steak. While it was an absolutely fantastic cut of meat (you could slice it with a butter knife), it was over-seared and soured with a burnt charcoaled crust. For the price I paid, it needs to be perfect and I wouldn't get it again. I'll stick with the prime rib, the Antarctic salmon, or the ahi tuna, all of which are solid staples of this place. Service is always excellent here and the atmosphere makes it feel like a special night out. The interior is lovely and I get to sit by the Intracoastal Waterway and ogle at fancy boats owned by people with way more money than I'll ever have. Prices are up there, but so is the quality (most of the time... looking at you, Mr. Wagyu...). I always leave full, happy, and too stuffed to even consider dessert.

We came here for lunch, don't be intimidated by the posh set up. There were patrons wearing Nordstrom and also wearing Wal-Mart. There was a family with three young children and the hostess did not blink. She simply stated, I've got a great area for you." Elegant atmosphere, not a place for boisterous behavior. We enjoyed our server, Lynn. She was polite and very helpful. We enjoyed our Sangria. We both ordered specials ~ me the wagyu beef tips with a side of mushrooms & my husband a blackened fish special. Both were completely delectable ~~ I mean shear perfection. We also decided to take the kangaroo appetizer back to where we're staying to try with our son & daughter in law. This we expected to be a bit more gamey tasting, but it was served in a delicious hash of (I believe) sweet potatoes). It was definitely worth trying.

Greg Norman Australian Grille is one of the great steakhouses. I've been visiting since 2016 and I'm always impressed. The quality of the meat is world class and the service is on point. The happy hour is noteworthy and the views - outstanding. When in NMB, don't miss out.

Our…read moreserver, Tara, was particularly noteworthy for her exceptional knowledge, professionalism, and affable demeanor. These qualities set a high standard for the overall dining experience. While the pricing at 21 Main may be comparable to that of a fine dining restaurant in New York City, it is important to consider that it is one of the few establishments in Myrtle Beach that offers such an experience. This distinction helps to mitigate the high cost. We began our meal with a shared tuna tower, which was of excellent quality. It was evident that the fish used was sushi grade, fresh, and delectable. We also shared a side of broccolini, which was enjoyable but not exceptional. I opted for the Chilean sea bass, which is consistently excellent. Although I am not a fan of Beurre blanc, I was offered compounded garlic butter as an alternative. However, upon reviewing the bill, we discovered an unexpected upcharge. In my opinion, 21 Main should reconsider this practice, especially considering that the ingredients are not significantly different. My husband had the NY strip steak, which was satisfactory, but it was not served at the requested medium-rare temperature. Instead, it was closer to medium. A steakhouse, particularly of this caliber, should not make such an error. The meal concluded with an espresso, which was excellent and served piping hot. Despite the occasional shortcomings, 21 Main remains a favorite dining destination. I hope that the owners will take the time to read this review and consider the feedback provided.

We did not care much for the crunch roll. It is not that bad but for the price we expected better. Now into the good stuff. Seared wagnu is the best we ever had. The inside is not overcooked so you can still taste the freshness of the meat. Both filet and ribeye are cooked perfectly the way we want it. While the outside is crunchy, the inside is still pinky and juicy. The ribeye has more fat than we want but still it is both soft and crunchy at the same time. The drinks are also good. Sake tini is my favorite. Both dessert are excellent. Tiramisu and brulee are mouthwatering tasty. One thing I hate was that they charged us for the steak sauce. I wanted to try different steak sauces and did not know they charged us for each. Hate any places that charge for sauces and that is why 3 stars

I've been going to Myrtle Beach for the past 40 years on golf trips and never ate there because there's always a line outside starting at 4:30. My friends and I decided to stop in, despite the line on a Tuesday night, and see how bad the wait would be. As luck would have it, space opened at the bar when we walked in and we were able to sit down immediately. Our waitress/bartender had a lot of personality which wore thin as the night progressed. We ordered drinks then dinner. I ordered a 10oz Prime Rib, medium rare, with a "loaded" backed potato. Our food came out in 10-15 minutes. I was barely able to cut one piece of meat off my prime rib with the steak knife provided, and I was completely unable to chew it. The potato was small, overcooked a only had a bit of butter, sour cream and a few chives sprinkled on it. After unsuccessfully chewing on the one piece, I tried to cut other pieces off the off the steak without success. I notified the bartender and she asked if I'd like something else so I said I'd try the NY Stripe. She took my plate back and returned shortly with a blacked Stripe steak that was about as thick as my pinky. It was cooked medium and tough to chew. Lastly, all steaks come with an old school salad bar...a smaller version of what you'd see at Golden Corral. The one we could see from where we sat always had a long line and my one trip through I was underwhelmed. Obviously, everything came out of a bag or can and several of the toppings bins were empty. I'm still amazed how many people I saw in the place who were obviously regulars.

Based on my brother-in-law's recommendation, we decided to try this place instead, and I'm glad we did. From the start, the experience stood out. The food quality was excellent, and the portions were surprisingly generous--something you don't often find at Italian restaurants. They also offer complimentary bread with a choice of soup or salad, which is becoming increasingly rare. Even more impressive, these weren't afterthoughts. The bread was perfectly crusty and served with a flavorful olive oil infused with tomato and garlic. Both the salad and chicken soup were fresh and well-prepared. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. I had the chicken Sorrento with prosciutto and mushrooms over pasta, and it was outstanding--well-balanced, flavorful, and cooked just right. The restaurant itself is clean and nicely designed, creating a comfortable atmosphere without feeling overly formal. Service was quick, and our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout. I don't often give five-star reviews, but this place truly earned it. It delivers on both quality and value, which is a combination that's hard to find.

We came on a Saturday night, shorty before close, so we were able to get two seats at the bar. Our bartender was extremely attentive throughout our visit. Complementary bread is provided. Comes with a nice oil and garlic blend. Ordered the Bucatini Puttanesca & Spaghetti with Italian Sausage. These come with a dinner salad or up grade to a Caesar for $2 more (which I did). Both salads were fresh and delicious. I will say one of the best caesar dressings I've had. The pasta, presentation was lovely. The flavors bland, tomato sauce (tastes straight from the can) had no additional spices present and the pasta way over cooked. Seems their noodles are pre-cooked and Al Dente then is just not possible. This is another reason why the rating was just below average. Really disappointing. Would not be a place we would revisit.

I figured he will like the old clubby atmosphere of Thoroughbreds plus they have great wine and an excellent burger. We got there a few minutes before 4:30 and waited in the car until they opened up. Now I haven't been here in a few years, but it looked exactly the same... bar to the left as you come in, with multiple dining rooms scattered throughout, some with a fireplace some without, all of it projecting private club with a southern flair. It's decorated well. We sidled up to the bar, where we were the first two patrons there and sat at the end. The bartender was attentive and quickly came over with menus and asking for a drink order. I ordered my father a nice glass of Pinot Noir and a seltzer water for myself and then quickly began reading the menu. Thoroughbreds has a happy hour menu that is served at the bar and a more extensive full menu served at the bar and in the dining rooms. I settled on the burger with fries for my father, with no cheese or other accoutrements that is always served on a pretzel bun. It comes with Gruyère cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion...that's the way I usually get it, but my father being 90 is set in his ways. I decided on an appetizer of escargot and the main course of elk chops cooked medium and served with broccolini and mashed potatoes. After a while(and another glass of wine for my father) the escargot came out with some hot bread and infused butter. The escargot was tender and flavorful with hints of garlic and parsley in a rich butter sauce. The bread was a good choice to dip into the plate. A few moments later, my father's burger came out, cooked to perfection with crispy shoestring fries that were moist and tasty in the middle. The happy hour version of the elk chops consisted of two. They were served crusted over the broccolini with a nice moundful of herb infused mashed potatoes. The elk chops were delicious and tender, and the broccolini and potatoes were seasoned to perfection. By the time we were done, the bar was full and people were having a great time eating and drinking. I looked over at my father and I could tell it was time to go so we headed out the door and drove back to our condo in North Myrtle Beach . Overall, I find Thoroughbreds an excellent upscale dining experience with friendly and professional waitstaff in a club like atmosphere that serves great steaks and chops.
