Saddens me to write this review after my first time there was so good. It was slow in the licatiin, we sat at the bar. I felt like a good burger and Outback has to be the place. My husband had Australian Delmonico 15 oz steak. I so would have liked ketchup that was fuller, napkins and a water refill. My husband another beer. The burger was good, the bun was the issue. All around wrong bun not to mention it was on the day old list. Seasoned rice, was not seasoned, I would never suggest it as good as it was to me. Its not good at all. The steak was thin. The steak was not very good as it lacked in seasoning also. More on med well than med rare side but never were we asked how it was. The fries just ok. Unfortunately, we decided we wont be back. Too many good restaurants around vs. Wasting $70 on a bad meal and sub par service. read more

I treated my guy to a steak dinner for his birthday recently. We had a very enjoyable experience. We asked to sit in a booth behind the bar to watch NFL. Our server, Dallas, was very friendly and personable. We all shared a few laughs. We appreciated his service. He was very attentive. The food was very tasty. We ordered the Spinach Dip as an appetizer. It was very creamy with a generous amount of chips. My guy prefers his steak rare. It was cooked to perfection. The meal came with two sides. My guy chose asparagus and opted to pay an additional fee for a side salad. Dallas informed us that birthday patrons are entitled to a free ice cream dessert. Sweet! The restaurant was busy and there were several people sitting at the bar watching football but it was not loud. We were able to communicate without shouting. The evening proved to be a very happy birthday celebration. I recommend Outback Steakhouse. I look forward to returning very soon! read more

My friend & I went on Christmas Eve. I had the Gingerbread martini, which was festive and surprisingly not too sweet. My friend had the smoked Old Fashioned, which was also tasty. It was decorated nicely and our server was attentive. Even though there were not too many people it too a long time to get our food. We both had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. I was surprised to find out that there is a 0.99 cent upcharge for creamy horseradish sauce! Really? I'm paying $30 for prime rib and a little cup of horseradish sauce is 0.99 cents! Skip this place, or settle for a disappointing meal. The food here used to be great, now the quality has declined significantly. The mashed potatoes are too watery and flavorless. The Mac and cheese is flavorless and an overall disappointment. Now when I want OutBack, I travel to the one in Cape Coral. There, the food is always on point and the staff goes above and beyond to serve its customers. Hopefully the management here in Sebring gets the food back to standard OutBack quality. read more

We dined at this Outback location on March 23, 2025. From the minute we walked in the door we had the feeling that this was not going to be a good experience. The dining room was about half full and getting seated right away was no problem but it seemed that asking for a booth instead of a table was a real inconvenience for the hostess and she didn't hide the fact that she was annoyed with us. She provided us with menus and we sat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to greet us. Finally the waiter, Mario, came and took our drink and appetizer order - water, lemonade, and a blooming onion with a side of ranch dressing. When the onion came he failed to provide us with the ranch dressing, appetizer plates, or silverware so we asked for those things and he never brought them. After about 10 minutes of waiting he finally walked past our table on his way somewhere else so we asked him again and never got them. We eventually asked another server who happened to walk by a little later if he could get them. That guy brought us silverware but nothing else. When we finally said to heck with waiting for the ranch and plates we started eating the onion and discovered that it was way overcooked and had gotten cold as we waited to be supplied with the items we asked for. Mario showed up again about 20 mins later to take our food order, pretty simple, 1/2 slab of ribs and a 6 oz filet. Again, another 30 minute wait to be served our meal while we sat and watched people who came in after us finish their meals and leave. The food finally arrived and the ribs were overcooked and dry but (surprisingly) the filet was cooked perfectly and very tasty. During the course of our meal several different servers approached our table 3-4 times with salads on a tray and wanted to know if we ordered them. After the third or fourth time we wondered if some kind of joke was being played on us as we watched the salads being sat down in front of other diners only to be told they didn't order them either. Twice the salads were sat down on the table in front of people and picked back up before eventually being delivered to the table of the rightful owner. I wonder if the health department would approve of that tactic. The entire experience was a cluster....! Other diners could even be heard complaining about their food and service. I've never seen so many servers walking around like they didn't have a clue what they're doing. This Outback used to be so good. Prompt service, delicious food, great atmosphere. But now it seems like no one wants to work very hard to provide the patrons with a good dining experience. Servers depend on tips to supplement their income. Sadly, with the lack of attention to detail that we witnessed in that dining room by others and were provided by our waiter, none of them will be getting rich any time soon. I hope someone in management or corporate heeds the warning and does something to improve this establishment otherwise this place will be shuttered like so many other places in Sebring....but....maybe that's exactly what corporate wants to happen. read more

I love the quick, easy ordering and pu process. The food is plentiful in portions and always fresh and made as to my specifications.

Paid an extra $3.00 to get the asparagus with my filet mignon. They gave me 5 pieces if asparagus half the size if a straw. Pretty sad.

We ordered on line, then went and picked up the food...omgosh the steaks were so tender and juicy absolutely delicious

The steak is always done as ordered, salads and soups are excellent, prompt delivery, and that loaf of nreas-amazing!

Came here with my mom for dinner and although my food was soo tasty my mom unfortunately found a rock in her mashed potatoes. At first she thought she was probably just imagining it until she spit out this bad boy of a rock. We were in disbelief. Excellent service from this location. The order specialist Josh is a standout employee who goes above and beyond to help, even coming out in the rain to bring our bag. When the kitchen messed up our takeout order, the manager was more than willing to give us a free meal as compensation. She even said she was going to talk to her line right away to get the issue corrected. When we called back a few weeks later to order again, they remembered and again apologized profusely. They also accepted our Dine Rewards on top of the already discounted order. This time the food was perfect, again with great service from Josh and everybody else on the staff. Additionally, they have a few new menu items that are good. The 3 cheese steak dip is a really yummy appetizer, and we enjoyed the scallop and shrimp pasta. The signature bloomin onion, however, is a real grease bomb these days. I don't recommend it. My recent experiences have all been takeout orders, so I can't speak on the wait staff's quality of service, but I'm sure they're just as good. Great job! read more

A recent lunch turned into quite an event and definitely worth an update to my previous review! I was waiting for my car to be detailed next door and blew in here for lunch. I sat at the bar and my bartender was excellent although his job was easy due to the stupid Florida Sunday adult libation rules! You guessed it. I was drinking a soft drink. I ordered their Grass-fed Burger with Sharp Cedar. This is their premium burger and it goes for thirteen bucks and change. I waited and waited and waited and just as I was getting annoyed a very nice manager appeared. She apologized and said the kitchen had lost my ticket. To ease the pain, she was picking up the tab for my meal. She was extremely nice and hey, my meal was going to be free, so it was hard to be too upset. So on to round two and I waited and waited and waited. I couldn't believe it was happening again! After way too long, here comes the manager with my burger. Once again, a very nice apology this time accompanied by a $10 gift card. In addition, I could have a free dessert! It's clear they tried very hard to make me happy but it was still a huge screw up! So how was my burger you ask? It was juicy and delicious and cooked perfectly to my specifications! The cheddar was very nice. Some Yelpers would award two stars or even one star for this experience but I'm not going to do that. Although they clearly screwed up big time they went out of their way to make it right. We have lived in highlands county for a number of years and usually do lunch or take out at Outback as well as one other restaurant if this one is full. The waiters and their assigned helpers are so attentive. We have experienced their mgr coming in from the kitchen where they were helping & directing to check with us on our meals. Sitting in the bar section when we do a girl's night out is also great service. You cant go wrong with any of their chicken entrees & the husband loves their ribs. Service was very good. They were extremely busy. Northerners are in town. Food was not good. We both ordered Alice's Spring Chicken, which I normally love. This location did not cook it the way other locations do. The quality of the chicken was VERY, Very tough. Did not want to complain. The server was very busy. My husbands salad came without dressing. I finished my salad by the time the server came back around. The place was clean. No issues other than the quality of the food. Won't be back. I doubt my husband will want to give any Outback location another chance. read more

We have been going to Outback for YEARS and as one would expect, some experiences are better than others. Last night, however, was the absolute worst! Made me actually consider never going back. The service was PHENOMENAL. The wait staff was courteous, attentive, and cery efficient. The food, on the other hand, was absolutely atrocious! The steaks were so over seasoned, they were inedible. Our food was delicious and our server was kind and attentive. But what really stood out to me and my husband was the hostess that greeted us. Told us there was a 20 minute wait but in that time we had amazing conversation and kept me and my husband laughing. Her name is Kadense and made the long wait felt like a short couple of minutes. tonight feb 19 me an my wife tried to eat here the waitress told us 15 min wait time. we sat there for 30 min after that. during our wait 2 sets of families came in after us one of 7 people an they was sat down almost instantly an then the next family of 20 came in an the waitress set the tables for them an sat them with in 5 min after they came in the door. so I asked to talk to the manager an he tried to play like he had no clue what was going on on. he tried to give us some coupons only to make us feel like he was doing something special for us. Yep, I ate at a chain restaurant but in my defense, it was 9:00 at night on a Sunday and I was tired after two hours of driving. So I followed the neon lights here. Not very busy on a Sunday night (no shock there), I was brought to a table and my waitress came by for drink orders a moment later. When she delivered my beer, I was ready for a steak. Wednesday and Sundays they have a special three course deal going, so I had the blue cheese wedge to start (lots of flavor and texture here, a good sized portion!), a six ounce sirloin (cooked exactly to order and with some horseradish, perfect) with a loaded baked potato, and for dessert a mini key lime parfait. My only complaint was that there were two parties of teenagers at separate tables that made a good racket. Once they paid their bill and left, it got much nicer. The food was great, the service was good and the price was excellent. I really have no complaints. As Outbacks go, this was a fine experience. read more

Outback Steakhouse Sebring: The place was clean and the service was good. The food however, absolutely sucked. We both had chicken and shrimp over pasta. In total between 2 meals we had a total of 12 shrimp and a very thin portion of chicken roughly the size of a 50 cent piece. The pasta was mostly dry, very bland and we didn't eat it. My daughter and I came after seeing a movie at around 7:30 on Tuesday evening. We were greeted by a lovely young man that really seemed to care about his job. When seated, we were approached by Brooklyn S. She was so sweet and helpful throughout our meal always checking on us and answering any questions had. The drinks came quickly and the food shortly after. My daughters filet mignon was great as well as my salmon. The creamy onion soup was just as I remembered it from years prior. We got the carrot cake for dessert and my daughter exclaimed that it was what she wanted as her birthday cake next time around.
