We had a nice dinner and ordered two desserts to takeaway, the t in m tam cake and a slice of carrot cake. The waitress must have grabbed the wrong bag and when we finally got home that night and sat down to enjoy our desserts we had two small slices of cheesecake instead. Outback has been my favorite for years but this location is absolutely horrible! First issue is the cafeteria like atmosphere with no decorative ambience! Number 2. the air conditioning was blasting and I had to grab two sweatshirts from my car. The only thing that is good there for the price you are paying is the salad on the side. I don't know what happened over the years, but it is expensive and doesn't taste as good when I went there in the 2000s . Been back there cause maybe the chef was mad that day ‍ 3 times I went back and absolutely hated it. I am not a Karen so of course I tipped my waiter 30% and didn't complain. There is alot to unpack here with our experience so lets start with the waiter that had said maybe 3 or 4 words total while serving us. 2nd issue was when we got our salads, 1 of them had a live bug in it so we all declined to eat the salads, and when we told our waiter about the bug he chuckled and didnt say anything else as he took the salads. We asked for the manager and she didnt really apologize for a BUG in our food, but then offered us another salad. We declined the salad for obvious reasons. 3rd issue was the steaks were very chewy and didnt have the consistency of a center cut serloin. Mine was edible but half of the other 2 were not. Our check came out to $99 and some change but the manager would only take $20 off even when we didnt eat most of the food, even the salads we didnt touch were $8 each so we felt like not enough was taken off for the food being terrible. 4th issue was even the salt at most tables were unusable due to moisture in the salt grinders. I would even go as far to say they may need to be tipped off to a health inspector. Overall probably the worst restaurant experience i have ever had and i usually dont take reviews seriously, but i hope others seeing this one takes this seriously and save yourself from a terrible experience. read more

A Vietnam Veteran arrived ahead of me with his service dog. He brought the dog's water bowl and asked for water. He was told they could not provide the dog with water. He told the employee that the dog was working and that he needed water. He then asked to have the water brought to him. He was told they couldn't do that. As he left, so did we. Outback doesn't honor our vets, and they don't want to have to deal with the disabled. Not only will he not be back, but neither will we. All wars are horrible, but the Vietnam Veterans were treated poorer than any other vet in this country. Shame on Outback for treating him this way AGAIN! read more

First of all this was my first time at outback and hope to come more. My family and I came for an anniversary. We had this amazing guy as a waiter who was very kind. we got a blooming onion which was outstanding steaks that were perfectly cooked and the burger I got was soooo delicious even though they left the tomato on it. We ate there yesterday and it was slop! Don't go! The bread was hard as a rock and the same with the next loaf! Old! The shrimp on the Barbie was good, no sauce! The chicken and ribs had hard edges and tasted as if cooked the week prior! The salmon was ok, not much flavor! The chicken rib meal no choice of veggie just a soup and salmon had baked potato! This all for $56! Went to a Mexican food in the same town, Aztecs, and good was amazing and spent $26. Where do you think we will eat in the future, not Outback! Oh manager spoke to us about the bread and wanted to give us fresh bread to take home! Seriously? Why not have fresh bread for dining in? Server was ok! They were not busy and I can see why! On 03/14/18 at approximately 8:45 pm (10 pm is closing) my wife and I chose the Outback Steakhouse in Spring Hill for a change of scenery of the typical Trinity Outback we typically attend. Our server, whose name I do not remember, took about 8-10 minutes to request our drink orders while we perused the menu. This is a tad longer than the average service at similar style restaurants. I ordered fried mushrooms to start with a soda, and my wife ordered a water. After about 10 minutes our mushrooms were served. They were served with a side of ranch sauce, although I requested the sauce that typically comes with the blooming onion. The fried mushrooms are the only reason this is receiving a two-star instead of a one-star review. They were AMAZING. They were even excellent in the microwave at home the following day. While enjoying our appetizer, my soda depleted. Due to my server having spent about 10 minutes to service our table to start, I decided to see how long she would take to bring me a replacement drink. It was 9 minutes!!! That's unbelievable. When she returned to take our orders was when she replaced our drinks, 9 minutes as mentioned above. I ordered a 9oz center-cut sirloin (medium) with mashed potatoes and broccoli. My wife ordered a 6oz Victoria filet mignon (medium-well) with mashed potatoes and the side salad. Our steaks came at an appropriate time as we were eating our bread and mushrooms (and she was eating her salad). I cut into my steak and it was clearly a blue rare steak, which may have had only a few minutes on the grill. My wife's steak was over-cooked and very dry. Her mashed potatoes were dry and legitimately crusty, as were mine. They replaced her mashed potatoes with a baked potato. My steak was sent back and returned within five minutes. It was clearly seared and pressed into the grill and came back dry and well-done. I did not complain, but when I was asked by my server, I expressed my displeasure with the steak, and a replacement was not offered. They also replaced the mashed potatoes, which were delicious the second time around. I consumed approximately half of my steak as did my wife. I expected my steak to be discounted or some sort of compensation due to my overall poor experience, but I was not offered anything but an apology for the steak. I have loved Outback and 9/10 have had a grand experience, but this Outback needs some serious revamping as I will choose other Steakhouses from now on. Spent $80 on two butchered fillet mignons mine was bloody and only cooked on one side lobster was over cooked and rubbery, my girlfriends cooked the same but tougher than jerky the server was great and the beer was greet as was the bread but for $80 i feel I should of gotten more than a good beer, bread, and good waitstaff Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't I of gotten a steak cooked correctly my as well as good cuts of meat from a "steakhouse". The waitress said the computer locked out the lunch pricing at 4:00. Ok fine. She goes into the entrance of the kitchen and starts arguing with the assistant manager. This guy is a ruining this Outback Franchise. So we order and wait and wait and wait and 45 minutes later the waitress says they burned my steak and so she told them it would be a little longer. We got up and left. They wasted an hour of our day and just did not give any f's. IHOP and Dennys have WAY better service and those establishments are lower rung restaurants. This was the first time we have been to this particular Outback. Nothing different. They just aren't as good as they used to be. Service was great. But the food was just okay. Got an instant reply letting me know they received the order and gave me a delivery time of approximately 50-60 minutes. A short time later I got a text letting me know it was on the way. My wife and I love the outback, close to where we used to live, so when we found this one, close to our new address, we were excited. However, our excitement faded quickly. Upon arrival, waitstaff was rude, and acted like seating my family was an inconvenience for them. Then, tings went bad to worse.
