Horrible experience! Came on a weekday back in January and the restaurant wasn't busy, food took forever to come out. The only plus about this night was the waitress was nice and understanding but I can't remember her name. The food was very mediocre tasting. The drink choices were not good and they were out of the one I actually wanted to try. Ended up sending both back. Watched the hostess do something unsanitary while prepping a table near by for the next guests, told our waitress about it. The sad face part about this restaurant is that it has potential. Unfortunately, you can tell the servers don't look out for each other. One server had to do everything for a party of 15. There was wait staff standing around & no one helped our waitress. The food --tenders & fried shrimp were overcooked. The shrimp scampi was pretty awful --the glaze was slimy as opposed to buttery. I tolerated the all you can eat fried shrimp, but sent the scampi back. Half of the food came out while we waited for the rest waited. It should be all hands on deck! Worst experience ever! It started with inner an hour wait to be seated then another hour and half for night to end. The night included our dirty table; surrounding tables unbussed; no fried mushrooms, Mac and cheese, French onion soup, ground beef products, Philly cheesesteak, or chopped pecan salad; burnt blooming onion; meals delivered at different intervals; a server who left energy at home and offered no refills, etc unless we asked. Covid could not be responsible for all the culinary chaos, as the restaurant was only one third full of diners and servers were everywhere. Our grandson's birthday dinner was a disaster! If I could give 0 stars I would. my sister and I went to this location for lunch and when I say it was the worst experience I mean the worst experience. Not only was the food not good and cooked incorrectly, the staff was completely unprofessional. They had an employee that had her 2 kids at work with her and they were 3 tables down from us crying and other employees kept coming to check on them. I also sent an email to corporate to complain about my food being cooked incorrectly and my steak not tasting or even looking like beef, my bar drinks were HORRIBLE and they had the manager reach out to me. He sent an email asking for me to call him. I have done that more than 4 times and left 2 additional emails for him and have never heard from him. We arrived here after a high school graduation with a party of 20 people and the staff was very accommodating even though we had no reservations .. The food was delicious , we were served warmed bread immediately when we were seated , which hit the spot because we were starving .. We ordered appetizers (crab cakes, wings , fries) I also ordered mac n cheese a la cart it was AMAZING!! You have to try it ! Scored low on their health department check, the bartender tried to charge us for water then tried to justify it by saying that there are some places that do charge for water. REALLY! I visited this Outback for my birthday a while ago due to heavier-than-normal traffic that night (there was road work south of Stockbridge along I-75). I've never been a huge fan of Outback Restaurants and I normally don't think twice about skipping over them, but due to my penchant for steak that night, it was kind of the best (...and only) local option to celebrate with a cow on my plate. Sorry Chick-Fil-A cows across the street! LOL! Totally bad decision...I really need to learn to trust my gut sometimes!! My medium well steak was dry and overcooked. My potatoes were very good though. My wife's well done steak came out leathery and tough. Her mixed veggies saved the day. We debated on ordering drinks and I was kinda glad that we didn't...I had a feeling that they probably would have been watered down anyways. Reason for 3 stars: The service was quick. We ended up getting our orders quickly and the waitress was very polite. I'm not a huge fan of Outback Steakhouses in general and this one is no exception. First off, it isn't really that easy to get to and when it is busy (which it can be at lunch and dinner, surprisingly) parking can be an issue. However, it is a great pick for customer lunches because the menu is consistent with all of the other locations and you pretty know what to expect. We, of course had the blooming onion, which was ok.... pretty greasy, but acceptable. There was a prime rib special which we both had and it was really very good. Portion sizes were bigger than what I would expect at lunch. The meat was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. Tender and juicy. Other times that I have been for dinner, the experience was not so great. Service is much slower and the food quality didn't seem as good. I'm sure I will be back.... only for lunch if I can help it. read more

Went to the one in Stockbridge Ga,and we signed in to be seated. They told us that it would be 30 to 45 min. Wait we were ok with that . They don't take reservations. About 20 min.after we came in a woman with a toddler came in and said she called ahead. But the lady at the door told her they don't take reservations. The said, but I have a baby. We stopped here for lunch on our way back from camping. There were seven of us on a Sunday afternoon, but that's no excuse for the horrible service we received. We were seated and then ignored for a good 10 minutes. Finally the server for the table next to us noticed and took our drink order. We then waited another 5 minutes or so after getting our drinks before he resurfaced informing us that our server had had an "accident" of some kind. Okay? Don't waste your time or your money going here. They don't have it together! Friday night, they were busy but not jam packed. Some empty tables which should have been my first clue. It took forever to get drinks to the table. Ok, it's Friday night-I get it. Finally got our order placed. Another 20 minutes goes by. Server kept us supplied with tea. Our food is brought out by someone other than our server. She was confused about where the food should go. There were 3 entrees. She took the 3 entrees to a table with 2 people seated there. Why? Became very rude and snapped that tray holder together and walked off! Can you imagine! I'm abbreviating some of this. I flagged down the owner and she went to check and see what was going on. She came to our table and said they were "plating" another entree which meant another 10-15 min wait. Service done right! I can here at 10pm on a Friday because I had a real craving for ribeye and pasta for whatever reason. I called ahead to check on the wait time to see info could sit in my favorite server's section. No problem! The host cleaned of a high top table on my requested section and I was greeted immediately for my drink order. I ended up getting a 10oz ribeye, cooked medium, with cavatappi pasta and mushrooms on the side. Everything was cooked perfectly. I order a chocolate thunder for desert after one of the managers, Mariesha, stopped by to check on things. Disappointed. Ordering online togo for my lunch break, seemed like a great way to go until I waited outside the restaurant for someone to acknowledge me. That didn't work after 10 minutes (after my pickup time) so I called, rang and rang, hungup called again, rang and then someone picked up the phone and hungup. If I could give ZERO stars I would. The service was terrible to say the least at the Stockbridge, GA location tonight. I placed an order for delivery at 6:39pm, my food did not show up until 9pm.....an hour & a half AFTER the quoted time. I called to see the status & the curbside/delivery rep LIED & said it was on the way at 7:50pm. I asked who my order was being delivered by she said the store was delivering it since I placed the order directly on the website. I saw the driver (who was dressed as if he worked the cook line & they asked him to make a delivery) pull on my street but I guess he knew someone in my subdivision b/c after a few min he called to "ask if he was in the right place". Really? My $11.99 salad was so hot that the cheese was melted....MELTED. The pasta was DRY AF & had absolutely NO "bold Alfredo sauce" so I had to make an Alfredo sauce myself. That defeats the purpose of take-out right? Took the waitress 10 minutes to take our drink order and appetizer order. Another 5 minutes to get them. Didn't take order when she brought the drinks. Then finally brings us bread, still hasn't taken our order. About 25 minutes after we arrive, she comes to take our order. At this point, we asked for a check because we still haven't got our appetizer. The manager came over and offered to charge us half price for whatever we order. We just wanted the check and go. I guess after seeing three out of five our drinks being empty, he told us not to worry about the drinks. Waitress seemed completely overwhelmed. My wife ordered cascadias, they brought half of hers out with my order and they were cold and greasy plus the sause that came with it had food in it like they reserved us used food. I have been to A LOT of Outback Steakhouses over the years. I always get the same thing (some people may say I'm bring but I prefer consistent, stable and know a good thing when I see it). The Outback in McDonough is probably the best I have ever been to. THe staff was friendly, the food (lamb of course) was done perfectly and served in single chops rather than the double so you have to pull them apart when you're done. The Bloomin' Onion was . . . well . . . it was a Bloomin' Onion and as good as everyone knows it can be. Myself and my wife love steak, we like the competition as well as outback. We will never go back to outback. We were seated and the waitress came over to serve us our beverages. She took our main order at the same time. When she left a cockaroach (huge) came out of my 13 year old sons dinnerware. I chased the bug off the table and up the wall, knocking it to the floor and squishing it. I immediately told the waitress who apologized and I sat there for the next 15 minutes comforting my family that it was a one off occurrence, even using my phones flashlight to show my kids there was nothing else. However I had to ask for new utensils as she left them on our table. I inspected everyone of ours. I was willing to write this off, however drink service was slow, me and my wife both ordered the same steak and mine was definitely not a ribeye (it was way smaller than hers). When it came time to pay bill we still left her $30 as a tip as the bad food and dirty environment are not her fault. We never expected a reduction in our price and never received one, that's okay with us, however the manager was making his way around tables seeing if everyone was enjoying their dinners and he steered clear of us purposely. We would have appreciated an apology about the cockaroach. We did not make a scene other than when my 13 year old jumped out of the table. That coupled with subpar side dishes (the steaks tasted good, too bad they were different steaks), the broccoli and cheese deluxe side dish was burnt, the mushrooms were cold, our food came very slowly. I'm disappointed as my wife usually loves outback (Vegas strip is our favorite), I'm sorry to say I will never be able to convince her to come back to this brand, compared to the competition you guys are so inconsistent, slow and unfortunately dirty. We notified the manager and he apologized and brought us back the SAME mushrooms when I asked him if those were the same ones he said yes he just reheated them!!!!! Omg. Then the crab legs were so dry...they were parched! Then, the meal came out with the french onion soups! Hah! Unbelievable!!! The manager comped our check but we are still hungry as everything was served cold and dirty were on 3 tables that were sitting there since we were there the whole time!!! Ordered food for the family from the Stockbridge, GA location including a salmon dinner. The salmon was RAW when my husband started eating it. Called the restaurant, placed on hold, and when the guy comes back he says, "you know our salmon is cooked medium, right"?... I told him that I know that because I have had the salmon a number of times. I even worked for Outback for 2 years (starting in San Antonio and ending in Morrow). Places me on hold again... comes back and says they will send a tuck away. Well, the tuck away arrived for $10! Really? The Outback Restaurant in Stockbridge is horrible. I have been to this location several times and this was by far the worst. Once we were seated and drinks ordered, it took about 30 minutes to bring our drinks. The waitress sat them on the bar and left them unattended for a while. We sat and watched other waitresses taking great care of their tables, not ours. They didn't bring us bread until we had been there for about 45 minutes. When the bread finally arrived, we were so happy because we were starving. Another waitress actually brought our bread out. Our waitress returns with some bread and says "oh, y'all got bread already, well you can have more bread". She left the other tray of bread there. At some point, we have salad bowls, 2 bread trays, a bloomin onion dish, and 2 cups each on the table. No one comes to clear the table. After sitting there for so long, I got up and spoke with the manager. I asked him if we could just get our ticket and food to go because this has taken too long. He said ok. A few minutes later, our waitress brings our food out with some to-go boxes. So, we had to package our own food. Our waitress never said anything about the kitchen being behind or anything. We were just sitting there waiting. She finally brought our ticket and said "we took some off because you had to wait so long". This chic took $7 off. The manager never apologized or checked on us.
