So I'm usually a fan of Outback, but this Outback's food is a little lacking. The service has always been good when coming here, but the food is just ok. I've ordered steak which is always overcooked, seafood which is ok and appetizers that are the best tasting items on the menu. Our food was really good. The waitress was very friendly and kept a good check on us. They have the best salads and croutons. They do need to cut the lettuce a little better. We love going there and Mr Goddard is one of the best owner operators that are around. read more

Well, I love outback in general so I'm sad that the rating for my neighborhood outback is so low- and I didn't read the reviews to see what people's issues were. But, whatever they were or are, I bet if you ask for Keace to take care of you, you'll have a much better experience. :) Keace did a wonderful job and had a great presence about him. Picture this: it's your 28th birthday and it hasn't been going that well, nothing too traumatic or dramatic but still the day sucks and your birthday is ruined but then you decide to treat yo self to a steak dinna down unda... your spirits are high, your tummy is growlin', you call it in because you're a loser but not the type of loser who dines alone, you drive 30 minutes to what's supposed to be the highlight of your day.... you order a bloomin' onion,(of course) and you order a porterhouse steak with a loaded baked potato and seasonal veggies, the super nice TO-GO girl throws in a free birthday scoop of ice cream.... but then you get home and realize you got the lamest porterhouse every butchered, it was bland, pathetically malnourished and mostly tough chunks of fat, the bloomin onion was soggy and sad, the veggies were undercooked, obviously microwaved, bland, tasteless, rubbery and just gross, the baked potato also seemed microwaved and was not fully cooked, the only good part of my birthday dinner was the brown loaf of bread and little cup of fluffy butter... oh and the ice cream/sweet to go waitress, wouldn't you be pissed if this was your birthday experience courtesy of Outback Steakhouse?! read more

We had a really great lunch today 12/6/20. Salads were very fresh, blooming onion fried just right and the steak and Alice springs chicken were prepared perfectly. My family and i went to this establishment , we asked for a booth and the waitresses said the waiter for said table wasn't ready. We get seated at a table with normal chairs and two minutes later the booth we asked for was filled. The waiter took our drink order and i asked for a mixed drink. The waiter went back a forth between tables 5 times to tell me the drink and substitute drinks weren't available. The waiter could've told me that the first 2 times. Then we received our drinks and our appetizer. No one ever came to take our order for our meals and the people who were seated i. the booths we requested had already been served their food. So in which we got our check, talked to the manager, our check was taken care of and we left the establishment. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. Worst service ever. read more

this was the WORST atmosphere! there were 2 unattended children in the back of the seating area. after hearing them fuss and fit my friend just yelled at them "Hey, mind your manners". the next thing we saw were the children telling their mother that we were saying racial things to them. I asked for the manager. the mother of the children said she was the manager. I said I don't believe you. I want to see the other manager. we were approached by both woman "do you correct other people's children? under the circumstances of the utter child hurting the younger one neither of the "Managers" offered any apology. I proceeded to tell them our meal wAs $114.00 and I didn't appreciate the children being unattended. neither of them again offered no apology. I usually order dinner from here about 3 to 5 times per month. I use their delivery service, however have used their curbside pick up one time because of the time that I called my order in. Generally speaking, the quality of the food is pretty consistent. As I am sure is with all restaurants everyone has a "bad day." It can become quite pricey to eat here so often. But, I know that with their dining rewards program that every fourth meal is 50% off or $20 off which ever is greater. So, like any savvy single diner, I usually wait for every fourth meal to be something really really good. My favorite is either the fillet with lobster or I've done the two lobster tails and added two of the shrimp on the Barbie add-ons. And after delivery fees and things like that it usually comes out to be about 30 bucks. Another thing that I like is that they seem to remember me and know the things that I generally ask for. To be honest if I were not living on a fixed budget I would probably eat here nightly; As their selection is that good. My favorite heart healthy dish from there is the grilled salmon with grilled asparagus and usually I will add on a Caesar salad. And as someone who has eaten Caesar dressing from the actual hotel that created such a delectable delight , I will say that the Outback version is a VERY CLOSE second!!( And, believe me, I am NOT one to overrate! Lastly, if you're really looking to indulge yourself, try the chocolate thunder from down under dessert. If my palate isn't lying to me, it's a dense walnut brownie ( truly I believe it to be more of a "flourless cake") which is topped with an exceptional vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and semi sweet chocolate shavings. I don't come here very often but normally so at the bar. Bar staff seem to be courteous and attentive to other customers. I got a pleasant greeting and generally a pleasant demeanor. I was served my meal in good time. What made this visit not so enjoyable is the fact the I was not offered the normally complimentary bread. Also, was was not asked if I wanted a second drink which I did. Also, was not offered desert menu which Outback always does. I will say that I complimented the young lady by saying she comes across as being nice but , when I discussed my concerns with bartender she retorted that bread is upon request and never addressed the refreshing of my drink or the offer of desert menu as though she was bothered that I brought my concerns to her attention. This is the one of the downside of some establishments of being a regular, if not regular your mileage may vary... I still enjoyed the food in-spite CS experience. read more

I ordered a take-out hamburger meal on Mother's Day. Wow-what a terrible meal. Three small pieces of onion and 4 morsels of tiny lettuce and 16 french fries. No ketchup after I asked for condiments. Bad start. Good finish. Call ahead seating was a joke. I called a little after 4:00 pm for a 6:00 seating for a large party. It's now 6:47 pm and I am writing on my phone while still waiting. The staff has been courteous concerning the delay. I guess my problem is the assumption on my part that call ahead seating was call ahead seating. Pretty much I have the gist of Outback's call ahead seating: "thanks for letting us know you're coming! Now wait because we don't do reservations, only call ahead seating." It's 6:51 and still no table. Update later! OK. We waited an hour for our table. We had a large party for my son's birthday. Outback did make it right. The tables had appetizers waiting on us at the table and they gave the birthday boy his meal for free. The service was really good...the food was a tad slow, but the explanation was they put in orders 5 at a time, so there was a delay. The only problem with the delay was the delayed entrees were the younger kids' orders. Most servers with kids know to serve the hungry, fussy kids first. Came to Outback Steakhouse in McDonough and the food was horrible! Service was great but we waited 30 mins for what has to be the nastiest food I've ever gotten from Outback. Stale and over cooked. Ribs were dried out and drenched in barbeque sauce to cover up that they were old. Steak was so tough that the server saw her trying to cut it and immediately offered to replace it. After my food came back we just asked for to go boxes and my fiancé saw a bug come out of his dish as he was packing it up. My fiancé and I come to this outback at this once a month. We always request Shane as our waiter. He is so friendly and full of personality. He's a great guy and very attentive. We look forward to talking with Shane when we come to eat. The food is always delicious and they have a great drink menu. The Wallaby Darned is my favorite mixed drink. The worst customer service experience. I called to place a to-go order. I called three separate times (option 2 for togo orders) no answer and no voice mail, the phone just stops ringing but the call is still active. I called again this time option 1 and spoke to the hostess. I explained the situation and she said she would get somebody. I stayed on hold for 8 minutes and she never came back. So while on hold I called from another phone option 1, spoke to a person and at that point asked for manager because this is ridiculous. At this point I was not going to order any food from this establishment but wanted to let them know they are probably missing business. Then when it wa apparently our turn to be seated, others that came in well after us were seated. They even brought one of their own employees ahead in the line.
