This is our second attempt at a take out order for lunch. I used the app as a rewards member to order a baked potato. I never got a text that it was ready, but arrived at the pick up time window only to be told (45 minutes after placing my order) that they were out of potatoes. The manager, "Dana", tried to tell me they didn't have my phone number to call me; however, you have to put your number into the app to place the order, so that is a lie. Still have not received an apology after our entire family was refused service that was rude and possibly racial in nature after my niece's graduation in May! Got a call but no voicemail or apology. They were wrong and then compounded the rudeness due to so-called hurt feelings. I've never had a manager come address a whole table just because a patron was upset and then asked to leave because we disagreed. My niece the graduate said this location has aggressively policed Black students and patrons consistently. I live in Atlanta and was shocked and thought we had stepped back in time. I order a steak and sides weekly now, and the food is always amazing! I get a Victorias Filet for lunch and it is always cooked med rare as I ask that it be. I get a fresh, plump baked potato and a salad. It is worth every cent I pay for it. Overall a pretty terrible experience. We called ahead for a 7:15 seating. We arrived at 7:10 and were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. We were finally seated around 7:40. The whole section smelled of what I can only describe as urine. The waitress was OK. We placed our order and waiting longer than normal for it to arrive, but it was a busy evening. The food runner was rude, and seemed like bringing customers their food was a big inconvenience per her grunts. When the food arrived, it looked pathetic. The steak on the salad was dry and overcooked when medium rare was ordered. The Bloomin Burger was a disaster. There was what looked like a half eaten tomato on the bottom with a tiny handful of chopped old lettuce, the Bloomin pedals were dried up bits, and the sauce was a quarter size spot. When brought to the attention of the server and waitress, they did get the steak on the salad replaced, but the cook made it rare just to seemingly spite our complaint. The manager did replace the tomato on the burger with a whole slice and an apology, but it was still underwhelming. It was my birthday and I am a rewards member, so I asked for the Chocolate Thunder Down under for my "free" desert. Unfortunately, I was told that I could have a scoop of ice cream or a small slice of cheesecake. I order the sirloin and shrimp plate and hubby ordered the hamburger plate with fries. Well the fries were a "no show " even after we brought it to the waitress's attention, they never came. my sirloin was so chewy it was impossible to even chew it up and get it down . I left it on the plate. I got 4 pieces of shrimp on my plate. Thats right 4 pieces! What has happened Outback?? To say this trip and meal was a disaster is an understatement. We sat for nearly 20 minutes, no further acknowledgment from her. There were 8 tables in the entire restaurant being utilized. She sat a family of 3 and 5 during the time we were waiting. I walked back to the bar area and asked for help, and was told the hostess will be right there., she never showed back up. Probably the worst experience I've ever had tonight with this Outback Steakhouse. Pretty much if you have a party more than 5, (ours was 9) your orders gets split up. So after we waited for almost 2 hours total one side of the table gets their food while the other side sits there waiting. After a long 8 hours on the road and way to much junk food, we longed for a salad and some comfort food. My wife ordered a GT; the bartender was very helpful and friendly (are there any other kinds?) in helping to choose between Bombay and Tanqueray gin. On to dinner. I choose their Tasmanian chili, a new menu item whose description sounded great: beef chunks with no beans.l, and my wife choose the steak salad. I was disappointed in the chili. Don't get me wrong, it had a great flavor but I'm searching for these chunks of beef, but only tiny pieces of beef, no larger than a pencil eraser. I also suspect that they thickened the chili with some cornstarch--a no no for me. My wife's steak salad was nothing to write home about. The lettuce mix was uninspiring, a lot of iceberg lettuce. On the plus side the steak was tender, cooked just right, and flavorful. In retrospect, the local German sounding restaurant would've probably been a better choice. Outback is a large chain restaurant that does steak fairly well. If you eat here, it's probably a good idea to just stick with a steak. read more

We almost didn't go to this location because of the reviews. Then I realized most of them were old, so we thought we'd give it a try. It was Friday on a game weekend, so we did wait a few minutes for a table, but it was shorter than they estimated. When we were seated, our server came by introduced herself and told us they were busy, but she'd be right back. And she was back before we could decide what to order. We ordered a bloomin onion, the pork chops, and a sirloin. Everything was delicious, our drinks were never empty, and our service was very friendly. She didn't put our check down when we were halfway finished, she waited until we asked for it, and then she brought it immediately.
