Since then I have attended frequently and usually as a party of 4, 5 or 6. My guests and I have experienced various items on the menu and with rare exception rate them all a 41/2 or 5. Special mention for the 8 oz prime filet, the prime NY strip, and several chef specials e.g. an Osso Bucco/risotto special and a Lobster/risotto special. Kuddo's to the Chef. But the real treat was outstanding customer service beginning with a warm welcome from Michael and a very knowledgeable and friendly waiter, Kennedy. It quickly became habit forming. I will say that at times it can get a little loud due to most everyone enjoying themselves. Our table just goes with the flow.

This place has a beachy gift shop, a main waiting room with the hostess stand, an oceanfront indoor bar and lounge area, and the main dining room. For lunch, it's more laid back. The menu is sandwich-heavy but includes some non-sandwich items like fried shrimp plate, nova scotia scallops, and a special entree each day. It's a lot less busy for the most part during lunch in comparison to dinner. Dinner is a big to-do here. They open at 4pm for bar seating and to add your name to the dinner waitlist. If you want a table, especially one closer to the best view, you've gotta get there around 3:50-4 to get in line. They don't do reservations unless you're a larger party. You can then either leave and come back close to 5, or enjoy drinks at their bar if you're lucky enough to score seating. At dinner, the menu is definitely more extensive- featuring steaks, chops, and different fish/seafood specials. We love their prime rib, and the creamed spinach is perfect and old school. At lunch and dinner, don't miss out on their dessert tray presentation. The dessert tray has a lot of options - and it's a fun experience. Their bartenders are always nice and professional, and most importantly make a delicious cocktail. Cosmos, pear martinis, dirty martinis, all delicious each time we visit. Servers are also nice and professional too which lends to the charm of this old place! We had one bad scenario out of all of the times we visited regarding service from an assistant manager - but every other visit has been great! I love that they have GF options, like french onion soup made without the bread! On your way out, stop by the gift shop for even more goodies - their homemade blue cheese dip is not to miss! It's complementary at dinner, but honestly we like to buy extra for the house. Today was my husbands and I's 3 year wedding anniversary i did a call ahead seating and when I got to the restaurant i met one of the best seaters in the world. NEVER has a seater asked me how my day was and listened to me and had a full on conversation i then asked her what her name was and she said Kayla she was very delightful and polite and wished me and my husband a happy anniversary and i hope too see her everytime i come into outback from then on our server was Tim who was also such a pleasurable person, always gave the best smile and always had such a positive attitude, and always answered all my question without skipping a beat, he had all our food out in the nick of time and did so much for us to make our dining superb and the food was beyond amazing like always I highly recommend the ceaser house salard it was BEYOND amazing and so was my rib eye steak, Tim made sure nothing was wrong with our meal and made sure we left with the hugest smiles in the world. I also enjoyed that our seater remembered us while were leaving and then again told us happy anniversary and to drive safe. My husband and i decided outback is going to be our new weekly dinner and i hope too see Kayla and Tim every week! I enjoy going to the Vero Beach Outback a few times a month. The staff is always great. Cora was so sweet the last time wed were in (my daughter loved her and would only talk to her), She wasnt even our server but was happy to get anything my daughter wanted (she is 6). Our server was Justine she was fun, and friendly, she made great recommendations for our meals. The restaurant was sadly out of many of the things we wanted, but when our food came out it was delicious. And the manager Riannon was amazing she stopped by to check on us and chit chat. I went to outback the other night and waited about 15 minutes to get sat which was no big deal. But finding parking there was really difficult. Once we went to our table, our server Rebecka was welcoming and so friendly. She always had a smile on her face and was really hard working. I ordered a ribeye and a baked potato and a blue cheese pecan salad. It took about 20-25 minutes for our food which wasn't too bad in my eyes. If I could give them zero starts I would. I walked in about 10 minutes ago with my family and we were awaiting a table. The host had said that "the server has to many tables at the moment" as they preceded to sit other families down that came in after me. Hate to say it but sure looked like a race thing to me. I'm not one to complain much but the staff here is racist and has no proper manners toward a race different from their own. I had such a pleasant experience and Lucas was the cherry on top! He went above and beyond to make sure my visit was 100%. Polite and prompt. I really liked how he was wearing his mask correctly. I saw you have a new menu so I asked him what he recommended. The steak dip I could have had 2 bowls of! And the twisted ribs combo, lemme say! Mouthwatering. Here's the deal, needed a quick meal and Outback was on the way so a stop was made. We are familiar with the food and no suprises were were issued. What was a suprise was our waitress Amber, such a delight and what a personality. While the food was fine and tasty the dining was a delight due entirely to Amber. Called for reservations (advanced seating) 3 times, held for several minutes and then the call was dumped. On the fourth call I dialed "0" for the manager - held for a few minute and then they hung up on me again. The food is standard Outback fair, but the service is severely lacking - which appears to be the managements in ability to staff adequately. Used to be a solid reliable choice for good service and quality food. The last several times I've gone over about 6 months, the service was slow and unreliable; the food has been lacking and the signiture steaks were awful. Steaks have arrived cold, cooked to temperatures not ordered, been tough from sitting under the lights for too long. Management need to require the staff to park on the North or East sides of the building because the residents around the restaurant are increasingly furious that the staff sit in the parking lot and blast their subwoofers before and after their shift. Second year in a row this restaurant guaranteed they would save 5 prime rib dinners for us on…read moreEaster--and didn't. Last year was on them. This year is on us for trusting them again. Bob was the one who personally guaranteed the food would be set aside--and it still wasn't. To make matters worse, after failing to honor that guarantee, they still charged us for drinks when we left without eating. A guarantee means nothing if you don't stand behind it. This shows a complete lack of accountability and respect for customers. We will not be back.
