This company is terrible They hired subcontractors that did a horrible job. Things had to be redone and my deck is still not fixed because they now will not answer the phone, return my messages or emails so I'm stuck with this awful deck. I will post some pictures Please be warned this is not a good company and they don't do good work or stand behind their warranty!!

Josh was great to work with and exceeded my expectations. The work was timely and he was great about communicating related to his crew. The team was polite and did all we asked.

The other side of the enclosed space

Ben and Palm Construction built us a new deck with an enclosed patio, starting in the first week of January and wrapping up in a month or so. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Communication was outstanding. Ben was consistently responsive-- any time we called with a question or small concern, someone followed up promptly and came out the next day with solutions. That level of reliability made the process feel smooth and low stress. From carpenters to electricians, the work crew was professional and communicative with high level of craftsmanship. They kept the workspace clean and organized and were respectful of our home and individual schedules. Most importantly!! The finished project is exactly what we wanted, and tbh, even better. It has completely transformed our backyard. Thank you Ben and crew!!!

Shortly after posting my initial Yelp review, I received a call from Debbie, Palm Construction's QA manager. While she expressed concern about our experience, it quickly became clear that the primary reason for reaching out was to protect the company's reputation--not to resolve the issues. Debbie said she was "shocked" that we had been asked for the final 10% payment and claimed that internally it had already been decided we should keep that amount due to the poor quality of work and our experience. She told us the refund would be issued the following Monday. But then she asked if I would take down my Yelp review. I told her I was willing to update it but not remove it. That was over three weeks ago. We never received the refund, and there has been zero communication since. It now feels clear that the refund offer was never genuine--they were simply trying to "buy" the review off the platform rather than take responsibility. Since then, I've left multiple voicemails, including one about a new crack that has developed in the path--an issue that should be covered under their one-year warranty. Still no reply. The complete lack of follow-up or accountability is staggering. Palm Construction overpromises, underdelivers, and only responds when their public image is at stake. Our project was mismanaged from the start, with poor workmanship, delays, and no on-site oversight. Communication was spotty at best, and when we pushed back, the company became defensive instead of constructive. Their QA manager gave the appearance of concern, but ultimately made a hollow offer of compensation in exchange for removing our review--an offer they've since ghosted on. This company cuts corners, dodges responsibility, and demonstrates no real commitment to customer satisfaction. I would strongly urge anyone considering them to look elsewhere. Working with Palm Construction has cost us time, money, and peace of mind.

It has been a pleasure to work with Sean. He was always very attentive and very easy to communicate with. He called me daily with any issues or updates on the scheduleIt has been a remarkable experience to do this work with Palm Construction and Sean. I am especially pleased with how quick they got the job done. I honestly did not think it was possible when we started this about three weeks before our wedding. I would recommend Sean and Palm Construction to anyone looking for any kind of home project or construction needs..

This year my husband and I bought our new home, and one of the first big projects we wanted to do was add a patio. We were nervous because this was such a special project for us, but from the very beginning this team completely blew us away. They were professional, hardworking, and so unbelievably friendly it truly felt like we were working with people who cared about our home as much as we did. Ben especially was AMAZING! He didn't just give us what we asked for he gave us so much more. He really listened to what we wanted, offered great ideas, and helped bring our vision to life in a way that was even better than we imagined. You can tell he takes so much pride in his work, and it shows in every little detail. The patio turned out absolutely stunning it has completely transformed our backyard and made our new house feel even more like "home." This was such an exciting project for us as new homeowners, and the experience could not have been better. We are beyond grateful for all the hard work, friendliness, and care this team put into making sure we were happy. We've already gotten so many compliments, and we truly couldn't be more thrilled. If you are thinking about doing a patio project, look no further this is the BEST team you could ever ask for. Ben and his crew are top-notch, and I would give them 10 stars if I could! Before: yuck

John and his crew at Palm Construction took my lame backyard and turned it into a beautiful, useable space. It began with a sit-down where he thoughtfully listened to my vision and concerns, made sure he knew all the details, then put the plan in motion. It went beautifully, and I couldn't be happier. His crew was timely, efficient, and clean, and I'll definitely use them again.

Palm Construction recently completed a list of home improvements that I have been needing and wanting for years. Some things were upgrades, others repairs. Palm Construction succeeded in exceeding my expectations for all. From the first meeting, John Cohen orchestrated all the subcontractors and timelines and frequently monitored the progress. The project started and progressed faster than I ever would have thought. I was caught off guard by how ready and able John's team was. I was thinking a few months. In less than a month, John landed the final details to a huge new deck, complete new floors downstairs (both carpet and luxury vinyl), new roof, concrete walkway, custom rug and repaired cracked walls. All of the subcontractors were equally impressive including the floor specialist Jonathan. It can be stressful thinking about renovation and repair projects like this, but this is as painless and enjoyable as it can possibly get. John Cohen is very personable and super attentive. I feel like I have a new house! I couldn't be happier with the quality and professionalism.

Great example of how incompetent this company has ever been. Do not trust them with your house if they can't follow simple directions.

Will never use this company. Had person read a sign saying no soliciting right on the door. Asked him for his card ( which is a door sign he could have hung) asked him if he saw the sign. "Yes but Well my boss said" that all I needed to hear if you can't follow simple directions there's no way I will trust your company with anything as important as my house or any projects to work on my house. This company is unbelievably disrespectful and if they want business, they can go ahead send mail or can leave their little door knocker things directly on the door without imposing or trying to talk to a person if there's a sign that says no soliciting they should be respectful of the families and their time. I encourage everybody to not use this company. I will take any business elsewhere.

Our rep John Cohen was awesome, he listened to what I wanted which was to up the electricity in our garage so we could plug in an extra refrigerator along with extra outlets and LED lights hanging from the ceiling. Now my husband can use his woodworking equipment and store his soda in the fridge without constantly blowing a fuse! The gentleman that did the work was great being sure to clean up after himself!

Scope of the project included covering an existing concrete slab. Alex made sure to add 3-4 inch rebar dowels every 24 inches and wire mesh to give the new layer something finer to hold on to, in addition to the binding agent for a more firm fusion. We also paid extra for the 3,500 PSI rated concrete given the Texas heat. Further, he extended the sides of our driveway, replacing the paver stone and gravel with level concrete. This also included fixing part of the walkway that had been pushed up by Live Oak roots, which was a tripping hazard, and now forming a smooth transition. Alex was also great when it came to pricing. He was very transparent, and me not being a concrete guy, asked a good friend who's been a general contractor for 30+ years to review the proposal and methods, and follow the work, all of which he said was done expertly. I'd highly recommend Ace for your concrete needs.

After weeks of delay due to "fabricating brick", multiple no-shows for days of work, and difficulty getting a hold of anyone from Jacks Stone Masonry, we cancelled the project when we came home one evening to see cement board painted as brick bring placed on our the exterior of our house. His subcontractors, Gio and Matt, were unable to get a hold of John as well. They repeatedly stalled, showed up late, and had excuses as to why the work wasn't being done to what we agreed upon. They told us that the "brick they were fabricating kept breaking" or "couldn't dry in time" so they pivoted to purchasing cement board to paint. In addition to the work not being done, damage was caused to our roof where they screwed in boards through our shingles to "sit" on while they worked. We have cancelled the project and not heard back since. The entire thing was a nightmare. John Jr. has gone completely silent, running away with our $2,500 deposit. We are moving forward with legal action to try recoup losses.

When I look back at what made our family choose Green Ease Landscapes & Design, three things stood…read moreout: design expertise, clear and timely communication, and experience to back a vision for what our home could be. That vision has been further realized with the help of Green Ease. The following is a pretty detailed review of our positive experience with Green Ease, owner William P, and his crew. In short: You're going to get a solid service with them, so feel confident trusting them for your landscaping needs. My family's home had suffered a great deal of erosion over the years that required some foundation work. While we were pleased to get that done and over with, the truth is that the front and back yards were just unsightly. The front yard was essentially just dirt and roots. The large oak trees had prevented grass from growing, and the water run-off had exposed the massive roots that made walking outside a danger to everyone. In the back, water would collect and stagnate forming a mud swamp that oversaturated the grass. The back yard was literally being used as a storage area because we would never allow guests back there. Aside from a much-needed design overhaul, our home desperately needed drainage infrastructure to prevent further damage and allow the yard to actually function as an outdoor space. Our initial conversations began after I found Green Ease online and reviewed their mix of hardscaping, landscaping, and xeriscaping pictures and services. We were interested in xeriscaping from a water conservation prospective, and because we knew that the amount of shading in our lot just wouldn't make growing grass sustainable. We also knew that no matter what aesthetic we went with, it was critical to divert water in a way that lessened the chance of further foundation damage and swamp-like conditions in our yard. Those were our priorities, and everything else would be nice-to-haves. Green Ease was far away from us and their typical service area, but we took a chance and gave them a call. Owner William P. agreed to meet with us. He surveyed the property and made several recommendations; the core of which involved creating a retaining wall in the front of the home, installing drainage in the back yard, and utilizing a combination of xeriscaping and turf to uplift the overall look of the home. He took the time to ask my parents what they would like and how they would use the space, and then suggested we consider expanding the patio a bit so that there would be more room in the backyard to sit and enjoy the outdoors. After taking a few measurements, he provided a rough estimate of his work right then and there. We asked for some time to think things over. This was an investment, and we needed to be confident. We got bids from two other landscape design companies. One landscaping company refused to provide an honest bid without committing to a design fee, and the other provided a bid very similar to Green Ease, only after asking us to provide a design concept for the work. In the end, no one but Green Ease provided the design expertise and level of communication that we felt comfortable moving forward with. Once we agreed to move forward, William came out and we discussed the scope of work in a second detailed walk-through, and reviewed expectations and timelines. When work was set to begin, we visited with him to pick out hardscaping materials, and a selection of plants that would fit into our xeriscaped design. William made recommendations; many of which we went with, but we also felt very comfortable choosing another option if we would've had a different design element we wanted to achieve. When we met the crew, we knew we were in good hands. Every one of the crew members treated my folks with a great deal of respect. We hope that they left feeling proud of the work they did, because they did a damn good job. We allowed for a good deal of crew-based decision-making simply because of our busy schedule, and we were happy with all of the decisions they made. I especially want to shout out the fact that there were small but meaningful accommodations made in the design that made it safer and easier for my folks, who are up in their years, to navigate. I'm not sure that level of detail and consideration would've happened with another crew or another company. In the end, what we discussed during our first consult with Green Ease was ultimately what we received as a final product. There were no major surprises that you sometimes get from vision to execution. The front yard and its retaining wall and xeriscaped stone and plants are amazing, the back yard's turf and flagstone patio are beautiful, and the garden area that allows for native plants to flourish are all so visually appealing. We're incredibly grateful for the superb work they completed on our home. We chose Green Ease because we felt William would help realize our vision in a manner that was detail-oriented. That was exactly what we got.

A family member asked me to improve the landscaping at her home. The existing landscape was…read moreovergrown from the builder's original plantings over 20 years earlier, and the previous owners' plantings had never been approved by the HOA and were also overgrown. After drawing up rudimentary front and backyard plans, I began looking for contractors that were highly reviewed. Good communication was an important aspect of this. Green Ease, owned by William Paquette, was the final choice. William met us at the house within a few days of my contacting him. He came across as competent and knowledgeable. He gave his initial estimate very quickly, and we found it to be reasonable relative to one other. The landscape plan included a curved limestone retaining wall, irrigation changes, a metal raised bed, and 2 cedar structures (a simple arbor and a trellis). Plants were included, as well as drip irrigation. William accompanied us to a nearby stone yard and wholesale nursery to make selections for stone, gravel, mulch, and plants. The number of plants included in the bid was determined based on the area being landscaped. The nursery products looked very nice when we made selections. Work began within a few weeks and was managed by Chris. William stopped by a few times. Chris also built a custom metal raised bed. A friend of William's built an amazing and substantial trellis and a cedar arbor. Plants were picked up just before they were to be installed, and I was allowed to place them. The project was deemed finished and was paid for, but there were a few things needing corrections. William was responsive and able to fit these fixes in within a few weeks. The positive aspects of this landscaping experience included excellent communication with William, his accompanying us to the stone yard and nursery, well-executed stone work, and the superb trellis and arbor. The guys did a great job of removing old plantings and filling in areas where new sod was needed. The negatives included areas I felt were not as well executed as they could have been, and are the reason for deducting one star on this review. The steel bed, while nicely made, did not fit flush against the patio and was filled with poor quality soil before I noticed the gap between bed and patio. The first "fix" by Chris was putting gravel into the gap and using mortar to seal the ends. The mortar cracked, and a second "fix" of steel being welded to hold the gravel in was done. It's functional but not pretty. Also, the plants that were brought in were definitely not the quality of those we looked at with William. Virtually all of them were leggy, and many looked unhealthy. Several ended up being replaced. I was also not happy that the arbor was positioned without first verifying the desired location. Still, the overall appearance of the landscape is very good, with the standout custom features. Green Ease is a business I would recommend to others. They handle every aspect of landscaping and do a good job.
