When we came home we noticed that the cover( tarp) was not put on properly. It was put on in the wrong direction, so it was short on two sides. The cover was never going to survive the winter. We called Robin. She said she would send them back to take a look, but she could not give us a definite day and time. My husband asked them to call him an hour before they were coming back so he could be here to show them our concerns. About a week later we called Robin to see when they would be back and she tells me that they had already been back to adjust the cover. She said they didn't have time to call my husband. This past weekend we had friends come and help us turn the cover to the proper position. While doing that we found garbage in the pool from the chemicals they had put in. I guess it was easier to throw them in the pool. I have called Robin twice since we did the job ourselves and she will not pick up or return my calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They took our money, but did not do the job properly!!!

Robin goes ahead and orders a cover that's "exactly 14x28" and calls me and says the men can't cover the pool bc the size your wife gave was wrong. So being fair, I asked her what size she was told and she said a 14x28 preg kidney and I responded that my wife was correct so how is this our fault. She stated the men are saying we need a tarp that's 30x50, they can come back the next day but the cost would be another $300. Obviously, very frustrated bc it's very late in the season, I questioned her why SHE ordered the wrong cover and she continued to blame my wife and say she put it into the computer and this is what was ordered...haha blame the computer and my life and not own your mistake. Mind you, she was stuttering over her own words bc she's a flat out liar. Common sense would tell you if your pool is 14x28, you would need a tarp larger to go over the pool's edges so you can put the water bags on them. On top of that the water level was not brought down below the gizmos. When I called dunrite pools they told me the lines would crack if it didn't go 2-3 inches below them. I called her back and she said ughh the guys are out until tonight I'll call you back tomorrow and she never did. Haven't heard back from her since 10/19. The fact that she couldn't own her mistake and is unresponsive she is getting 1 star. I ended up having to buy the tarp from Amazon, and had to close the pool myself. I was still charged for the blow out, chemicals, and water bags totaling me 258 for an unfinished job. She also sends 2 guys that you wouldn't feel comfortable in your property. It's a Long Island thing. When I first opened the pool in June, I added enough shock & chlorine to kill all the swamp creatures. It's my chemical romance up in here! Once I had my water levels adjusted, Leslie's sells all the PH, chlorine and shock I need to keep me swimming during the summer. After 18 years of summers, it was time for a new pool filter. But this time, I want a baller filter. Leslie's not only recommended a good filter, they gave me a military discount? Awesomeness all around. A few weeks ago, I saw on display a hot tub. Warning to Anyone Considering Premier Pools & Spa (401 Broadway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776)…read more I strongly advise anyone to think twice before doing business with Premier Pools & Spa. I signed my contract on April 25, 2026, with the understanding that my pool project would be completed by the end of May. I paid the required $3,000 deposit, received invoices, and was given repeated assurances that the work would be completed on time. Instead, May came and went with little to no progress. June was the same, and now we are at the end of July with the project still unfinished. Rather than completing the work they agreed to, I have received two additional invoices totaling $4,500 for items that I believe should be standard as part of a new pool liner installation. What has made this experience even more frustrating is the complete lack of communication. My emails and attempts to address these concerns have gone unanswered, and no one has taken responsibility for the delays or the unexpected charges. In addition to the significant delay, my property has been left in unacceptable condition. My front yard looks like a construction site, with materials scattered across my lawn and even onto my neighbor's property, damaging her grass. There are also empty water bottles, trash, and debris left inside the pool and throughout the property. This is completely unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for both my home and my neighbors. The agreed-upon work included removal of the old liner and raising the pool, yet months later the project remains incomplete while the condition of my property continues to deteriorate. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Premier Pools & Spa. I hope they take responsibility for their work, improve their communication, and treat future customers with the professionalism they deserve.

I would highly recommend Premier Pools for your equipment purchases, chemicals and other items related to pool and spa care. They were even able to give me a part for my spa cover hanger that worked equally great. You can visit their store with your water sample and they will give you a print out of what chemicals you need to keep your pool and spa in top condition. Very satisfied with their outstanding service.

I am now stuck with this wood for the entire winter season. My fires are hard to manage and i am buying Dura flame logs to help keep the fire hot.
