Warning to Anyone Considering Premier Pools & Spa (401 Broadway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776) I strongly advise anyone to think twice before doing business with Premier Pools & Spa. I signed my contract on April 25, 2026, with the understanding that my pool project would be completed by the end of May. I paid the required $3,000 deposit, received invoices, and was given repeated assurances that the work would be completed on time. Instead, May came and went with little to no progress. June was the same, and now we are at the end of July with the project still unfinished. Rather than completing the work they agreed to, I have received two additional invoices totaling $4,500 for items that I believe should be standard as part of a new pool liner installation. What has made this experience even more frustrating is the complete lack of communication. My emails and attempts to address these concerns have gone unanswered, and no one has taken responsibility for the delays or the unexpected charges. In addition to the significant delay, my property has been left in unacceptable condition. My front yard looks like a construction site, with materials scattered across my lawn and even onto my neighbor's property, damaging her grass. There are also empty water bottles, trash, and debris left inside the pool and throughout the property. This is completely unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for both my home and my neighbors. The agreed-upon work included removal of the old liner and raising the pool, yet months later the project remains incomplete while the condition of my property continues to deteriorate. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Premier Pools & Spa. I hope they take responsibility for their work, improve their communication, and treat future customers with the professionalism they deserve. read more

We live in East Setauket, NY for over 25 Years now. (I keep trying to edit my profile where it lists erroneously Manhasset) We bought an AquaLink Pool Cleaner from Premier and they were able to honor our warranty on it and replaced the battery and now it is working great again. I would highly recommend Premier Pools for your equipment purchases, chemicals and other items related to pool and spa care. They were even able to give me a part for my spa cover hanger that worked equally great. You can visit their store with your water sample and they will give you a print out of what chemicals you need to keep your pool and spa in top condition. Installed my pool in 2025 opened it this year had some issues with the filter connection. Made numerous calls to them for help and was screwed around. Anthony (owner) makes promises he doesn't intend to keep. Contract signed in February but excavation started in May. Pavers took months later to install. Fences, sprinklers, side yard, tree, and front lawn were destroyed. Heat pump was defective upon installation but Anthony refused to replace it. Still waiting on manufacturer to get back to me about replacement. Was charged $3000 for dewaterizWorkers were awesome, but the owner is a snake. Update. My family had our pool done here when we first moved in and it lasted a few years. Currently, we are digging it back up after we noticed when the lining was beginning to rise up in the water. After being another company they found that our pool was filled with SAND instead of cement in the bottle. This caused a hole underneath the foundation. It's sad that people do these things to save a buck and charge the customers the way they do. We did call to get into contact with them in order to see if they would be able to come fix the problem and their response was "we'll get to it when we can". We have a wedding going on in our backyard. We had no choice but to hire another company and happy we did that. We will never come back or recommend this business. read more

From The minute Anthony walked into our home for a price we knew he was our guy. He was on time professional, well informed, and friendly. He gave us a price that was very comparable to the other estimates we had received. He had amazing ideas to give us the backyard of our dreams. from the minute we got our permit everything went so smoothly. His guys always showed up on time and were super friendly with a smile on their face always. Even working in the blistering cold just to get the job done before the snow storm.. BEWARE! We had a very bad and costly experience with Premier Pools and their subcontractor Tasso Pools. We purchased a home that had an inground pool installed in 2020 by Premier Pools. After further inspection of the pool after purchasing the house, there were a few sharp stones embedded under the liner on the steps. We consulted with Premier Pools and they told us that when they came out to close the pool in the Fall, they would remove them. We also purchased a customized $6000 winter safety cover for it as well. The day the pool was closed and the cover was installed, a separate group of workers came out to remove the stones and relay the liner. We then filled the pool up to where they told us to fill it and went about our lives. We got quite a bad snowstorm during the Winter and the cover sagged quite a bit. We called Premier Pools again and they assured us it will be fine. they are designed for harsh weather. We investigated further and discovered the water level was low and again called Premier Pools. They said they would investigate in the Spring. To their credit, they did send a man out that discovered a small hole in the corner of the step that had previously been attended to due to the stones. It had been leaking all Winter long. He summized whom ever did the repair must have poked a hole in it. He did apply a patch. All of a sudden, no one, Premier Pools nor Tasso Pools had sent anyone out to fix the stones. No one took responsibility for this, therefore, the patch was not warranteed nor was the liner since we were not the original purchasers. The pool was installed 2 YEARS AGO. To add to this, our $6000 customized cover is no longer a safety cover because it's been stretched beyond normal due to the lack of water in the pool. BEWARE! read more

I had a pool put in by Premier and man I wish I'd gone elsewhere. The pool was installed July 2013. The Sales guy sold us an electric heat pump, which had a leak inside it, took 4 months to replace, which pretty much ended any chance of using the pool last season. They recommended a electric heat pump which works well in hotter climates (external temperature needs to be above 70-75 degrees for it to heat) and a gas pump should have been the recommended option. So, even with an early opening, had to wait until May/June to start using the pool. Ever since the install, it's been one issue or another. They don't take ownership and accountability and it's a nickel and dime journey. read more

The worst company I've ever dealt with. They were hired to replace lines for my pool. First after replacing the lines and pressure testing, I had them power vacuum the pool. With in three days the pool was filthy and the service manager Dana had no explanation as to why. I had to call a friend to look at the pool, only to find that they had left the pressure testing plugs in my pool. They could have ruined my pump. Then came the issue of how they replaced my skimmer boxes. I understand on the contract it said that any masonry work needed is my responsibility. Before starting the project, they stated that the did not have to remove any masonry. However they did have to remove my skimmer boxes. The workers failed to place them back properly. When I brought this up first to the workers they only spoke Spanish and barely understood me. I then called the company and Dana said they would fix it. Well, they did not and it got increasingly worse. It needed to be repaired. When I called Dana again because it is completely sunken in. Dana told me that it would be taken care of and she was going to give it to a service guy name Sean. Then Dana calls me back after four weeks to tell me it's not her problem. I said it would've been nice had the workers been able to speak to me at the time of service because they didn't understand a word that I was a saying nor did I really understand them. They had people who were apparently immigrants and not from here that didn't speak English at all come to do the work. When I stated this to her she called me a racist and told me that racist comments are not going to work for her. I am sorry but I am in America and if you send workers to do work for me, I expect them to speak English and be able to explain things to me. I meant no disrespect and I'm very very annoyed that she had the nerve to say that to me. This is a piss poor company I would not recommend them to anyone. I would have given no stars, but up till this disaster I had never had a complaint. read more

We just completed our dream backyard during this month. Anthony from the beginning was the only owner who actually came to our house and did not rush us through the process. Anthony had completed my sister's in-ground pool so I knew the end result would be beautiful. The entire team during this the process was fantastic. The crew showed up two days after my permit was approved and right on schedule. This is where the true gem was revealed. The Premier Crew headed up by Hassan and his workers was nothing but professional. They were working and measuring and triple checking every square inch of the project. It was obvious Hassan worked on projects as if it was his own families pool. We still have the patio and masonry to complete but I just can't wait to get this review up here for everyone looking to dive into this family project.
