It's been beyond extraordinary; 1) the team, 2) the design, 3) the execution, 4) the management, 5) the customer service, 6) the follow up. It started with a couple questions which (believe it or not), not one other builder we met with asked, "What did you have in mind? Who are you looking to entertain?" Simple questions but never having had a pool, we didn't know what we wanted. What we did know was that our backyard would be challenging since our house sits on top of a major slope. In fact, many of the builders we met with (high end luxury builders at that) didn't even want to tackle the slope issue. Instead, they recommended we tear down a number of trees to get to where the ground levels before building. Pristine not only tackled the slope issue, they embraced it and built a resort that makes you feel at one with nature. As I sit in the hot tub and look out over the space they've created, I feel as I'm sitting in a tree house. It's truly breathtaking. On Saturday he said he was on my way to my house but alas, he didn't show until 4 hours later. I asked him for a time to expect him but he never let me know. I have a contract with them but he is very unresponsive and my yard looked terrible as we were over 2 weeks without a cut at the end of May and early June. I thought the issues that I had when I initially contracted with him to mulch and seed my yard in the spring were an anomaly but they appear instead to be part of a pattern. After first contacting him to do Spring bed clean-up and mulching, I waited 3 plus weeks and they never showed even though he stated they would mulch within the week after receiving the contract. When I finally was able to reach him, I had to insist that they do the work as they wanted to wait another 2 weeks which would have put us into late May for mulching and seeding and over 5 weeks from the initial request for service. (Then he never cleaned up/trimmed the plants in the side gardens. ) The delays, unresponsiveness, and lack of communication and the fact that he clearly misled, if not outright lied, to me about being on his way are indicative of the poor customer service and an unreliable business. I would advise you to avoid working with Pine Ridge Landscaping.

He was very polite and quick to follow up my voice mail that I had left. He sent his crew out and got all the trees removed and stumps taken care of in one day and that following day his crew was back to remove all the stump grindings and remove and level out the garden beds and then sodded them and made it look perfect with my existing lawn. Since then, I have had Danny and his team out to install a full-frontal landscape design and a flagstone patio. Now i have them out installing landscape lighting. I would highly recommend Looking Sharpe Landscapes. There's no project they can't handle.

So, we decided to bring them back this year when our front walkway was quite literally falling apart. Pros: they do good work. Cons: the crew will pee on your property. Not in a bathroom. Outside. And then they will lie about it. To add more context- the crew was working on my FRONT walkway. They made it a point to let themselves in my BACK yard through the gate, walk to the corner of my yard where my shed is, move a gate that was blocking a space next to the shed, and peed there. Several of them did it the second they began the job. The owner doesn't care and will turn it around to make you look like the problem. So, if you're cool with that, then go ahead and move forward with them. However, know that you'll be paying a premium price for a company and project crew that couldn't care less about disrespecting you or your property. Just an honest review. It's unfortunate, but if that's how Jeff wants to run the business, then that's his problem.

We found it difficult to find a mason willing to undertake a relatively small job at our small colonial in North Arlington (removal of a concrete walkway and installation of a dry-laid herringbone walkway). Matt met with us several times to work out the design, promptly prepared what we felt was a fair estimate, and conducted the work as scheduled. The workmanship (I'm afraid that I've forgotten the name of the principal mason) was superb and Matt was good about accommodating some late minute changes in the design.

He produced a CAD drawing that represented everything I was trying to accomplish, which was very helpful in obtaining the HOA approval before I started. All through this process he took the time to answer questions, and was exceptionally helpful in choosing the type of brick I wanted to use. I was coordinating the patio with an HVAC replacement that would happen at the same time, and Matt's team accommodated the HVAC crew so I would not have to go without a/c for more than an evening. The finished product was exactly what I wanted, the wait was worth it to find a company like J Reynolds who could turn the idea into a realty. After the two large storms, absolutely no standing water on the patio, which was a major consideration of the drainage design. Highest recommendation for J Reynolds, I will be using them to design and build in the front of the house next year.

I do not recommend.   To be clear, I have not used McHale…read more  My next door neighbors had them construct a stone wall in their front yard and now they are apparently constructing a stone patio in their backyard.  They grind  every stone on the premises.   It means ear splitting grinding noise.  Additionally, stone dust is flying everywhere. Stone dust is polluting and dangerous to breathe.   This is so unneighborly and a nuisance.  I cannot sit on my porch during the days when they are out there.  I have had lots of stone work done in my yard and my landscaping company delivered the large stones on palates and then they are fit together.  If you use McHale, warn your neighbors that they will not be able to be outdoors for the length of the project.

Here it is June 1 and they are proposing a design contract of $1250 with final plans sometime in the fall and presumably construction in the winter IF lucky. Who knows when construction would occur. My goal was to salvage THIS summer's usage and they never had the courtesy to let me know this project wasn't going to happen. Over 3 months since contacting them, they are proposing 3 months or until September 1 for preliminary design and 2 months or November 1 for final design. Unreal!  Sounds like construction in the December/January range IF lucky.  I felt that my project was barely on the radar with McHale and they aren't inexpensive.  I would have greatly appreciated some upfront direct conversation so I did not waste months of precious time.  I even provided the concepts that I found scouring the internet and asked them to build the concepts.  No new concepts have been discovered that meet the needs.  Absolutely nothing concrete has been done and it is June 1.  This has been a ridiculous and frustrating waste of time.  I will take my business elsewhere. This has not been a good experience.
