So, we decided to bring them back this year when our front walkway was quite literally falling apart. Pros: they do good work. Cons: the crew will pee on your property. Not in a bathroom. Outside. And then they will lie about it. To add more context- the crew was working on my FRONT walkway. They made it a point to let themselves in my BACK yard through the gate, walk to the corner of my yard where my shed is, move a gate that was blocking a space next to the shed, and peed there. Several of them did it the second they began the job. The owner doesn't care and will turn it around to make you look like the problem. So, if you're cool with that, then go ahead and move forward with them. However, know that you'll be paying a premium price for a company and project crew that couldn't care less about disrespecting you or your property. Just an honest review. It's unfortunate, but if that's how Jeff wants to run the business, then that's his problem.

I'll do my best to convey what an incredible experience this has been but I feel I may fall short. It's been beyond extraordinary; 1) the team, 2) the design, 3) the execution, 4) the management, 5) the customer service, 6) the follow up. It started with a couple questions which (believe it or not), not one other builder we met with asked, "What did you have in mind? Who are you looking to entertain?" Simple questions but never having had a pool, we didn't know what we wanted. What we did know was that our backyard would be challenging since our house sits on top of a major slope. In fact, many of the builders we met with (high end luxury builders at that) didn't even want to tackle the slope issue. Instead, they recommended we tear down a number of trees to get to where the ground levels before building. Pristine not only tackled the slope issue, they embraced it and built a resort that makes you feel at one with nature. As I sit in the hot tub and look out over the space they've created, I feel as I'm sitting in a tree house. It's truly breathtaking. To all those looking to hire an outdoor design/build firm, I highly recommend Pristine Acres.

Some of the work generated a ton of dust, and our neighbor voiced concerns about it flying into her yard. They made adjustments to minimize the dust. Our neighbor even commented to us how great they were about it. About 2 weeks later, we have an amazing backyard. We've got the furniture back there, along with plants in the stone-walled garden. it looks fantastic, and we could not be happier. The staff were courteous and professional. They have been taking care of my landscaping for about 2 years. Their price is competitive with other companies that I contacted, perhaps just a bit more expensive. The requirement that they have when they provide service is that they perform three 'functions'. I have a very small area of grass and so I certainly do not need for them to mow this small area. The functions that they provide are mulching in the Spring, pruning and clean up during the summer and really throughout the year, and blowing the leaves in the fall. I really like the guys who come out to my home to do the work. The central problem with this company is that the supervision is inadequate, the training is poor and the communication between teams who come to your home is non-existent. Whenever I call the company, they are friendly and note down my preferences. Sometimes this info is communicated to the men who come to my home. Often it is not. When I see that the guys have arrived, they listen and do everything that I would want. But if not, then it just doesn't work. In addition, when they do have someone who knows what he's doing, how to take care of plants, the person leaves the company. The guys just do not understand landscaping or plants. This is where the severe lack of training is so obvious. It may be that my needs are different than many of their other customers, but the requests don't seem to be that complex. I suggest considering another company.

They delivered excellent craftsmanship and top notch design experience at a fair price. I initially hired Gerber to tune-up all my existing pavers, add a new paver driveway, and add some new path lighting. Adding the new driveway was somewhat of a challenge as the adjacent paver sidewalks were initially constructed over 10 years ago. So, Gerber was able to find a great match to my existing pavers and masterfully piece the new driveway together in such a fashion where old and new appear seamless. Amazing!!! During the process, we learned that his team also offered landscaping. So as the hardscaping and lighting was coming to an end, his team met with us for a design consultation. Both Kathy and Katherine brought some great experience/knowledge to assess our current situation and offered wonderful ideas to the overall design.
