Poor food service maybe I came at the wrong time ribs were beyond dry burnt ends was exactly that brunt ends of the meat very rough to chew and hard to swallow place has a lot of potential ordered almost 40 dollars worth of food only ate a few bites waste of money and time ended up across the street and the pizza joint would definitely recommend that place over the bbq

Love BBQ so had to give this place a try while in Sedona. Huge portion sizes for a BBQ place as the platter was big enough for me and my toddler to share 2 meals from. Love the sauce options (my favorite was the hot but the sweet was really good too). I had the player with brisket, ribs, pulled pork and sausage. My wife had the brisket burger which she said was really great and my mom had the steak sandwich. We all were totally full afterward. The service was great even though she forgot some stuff and the restaurant was very laid back/casual.

Minus 1 star as food was not hot. Since it's smoked and salted I ate it anyway. I didn't complain so don't know if they would have fixed it. I tried the 6 shooter sampler- a bit of everything. Turkey and pork ribs were excellent. Beef was very good. I chose the jalepeno sausage (the other option is Texas style- not sure what that would be)-it was a little dry and had peppercorn. I didn't pick up on the jalepeno. The pulled pork was dry. I love that they have three sauces. The tangy has a good amount of vinegar and was good on the charred meats. The house and sweet fire were slightly similar to me but both good and mixed well with the different meats. Fries were hot and crispy and salty with some all spice on it. Tasty. Service was quick and easy, friendly. A little "small town" or inexperienced maybe- but not to a fault. Nice country themed bar/pub decor. Amazing view at sunset if you sit on the N side.

Came back to Sedona for the second time. We just happen to stay across the street. The smell brought us in. The brisket was mouth watering and the beans were excellent. My daughter had the chicken and ate it all. No leftovers. My son had a burger and killed it and the fries. The staff was great. Very personable and engaging. We get to get out to Sedona every couple years and when we do. We will be back.

We really enjoyed this place--it has such a wonderful atmosphere. The barbecue is amazing. My husband had a barbecue sandwich with sliced brisket that was incredibly good and very close to true Texas-style barbecue. Their tangy barbecue sauce is outstanding, and the French fries were unbelievably crispy. I ordered a kids' cheeseburger, and it was huge! My husband also had a classic cheeseburger, and it was absolutely delicious--juicy, homemade-style, with a thick 8-ounce Wagyu beef patty. Everything was amazing, and we loved it so much we came back twice.

Food was delicious Service was great could have been better but it was real busy Ambiance was relaxing with outside patio looking at the red rocks in Sedona 4.5/5 would have gave it a 5 but my old fashion drink was ok

The food was AMAZING! We started with a few happy hour nachos (one pulled pork and one brisket). Everyone tried different items and it was all delicious. I would not pass up the opportunity to eat here. We stopped because we walked by on our way to Bell Rock and couldn't resist the smells coming from the smoker.

Avocado burger with 8oz Wagyu patty, bacon, cheddar and seasoned fries. $18.95. Was good, I'll come back for more!

Glad that bbq place wasn't close for too long between ownerships. It's now Doc's BBQ and Whiskey. Service was fine, burger was good. Fries a bit over seasoned (Cajun maybe) in my opinion but that's ok I still finished it! Next time I'll ask less seasoning and fries crispier.

Ordered a bbq brisket sandwich with fries and a bbq pulled sandwich with slaw and both were so yummy! Would definitely go back.

Excellent barbecue in the Sedona area: probably the best around. Good variety, large menu, friendly service, great options, and choices.

The restaurant makes delicious butter biscuits and also serves lunch with American and Mexican options. We ordered corned beef hash, 2 eggs with homemade biscuits and a side of bacon. After visiting the Pink Jeep tour, we headed over and immediately loved the vibe. The restaurant has a funky, eclectic feel that's full of personality, and we ended up sitting outside on the back patio, which was such a great atmosphere. It felt relaxed and distinctly Sedona. I'll address something that may be helpful for other travelers. As we were leaving, a group of women mentioned to us that they had experienced some prejudice during their visit. As a Black couple, that naturally gave us pause and stayed in the back of our minds while we were there. That said, I can only speak to our own experience, and throughout our visit we felt welcomed, comfortable, well-served, and completely taken care of. We saw a diverse mix of guests and staff, and everyone we interacted with was kind. I mention it only because I know other travelers may be looking for that perspective when researching places to visit when from out of town. Now for the food. The fresh-baked biscuits were massive and absolutely delicious. I also really enjoyed the coffee, and I have to mention the mugs because they were surprisingly cute and added to the charm of the experience. Of course, the real star here is the omelet menu. There are over 100 omelets to choose from, and as people who love a good omelet, we were in heaven. Our meals were excellent, and honestly, I wish we'd had more time in Sedona because I would have happily come back to work my way through several more options. When a restaurant specializes in something and does it well, I usually stick to what they're known for. Between the unique atmosphere, great coffee, giant biscuits, and seemingly endless omelet choices, The Coffee Pot ended up being one of our favorite breakfast stops in Sedona. If we ever make it back, it's definitely on the return list.

We requested an open four top which they refused only to give it to a couple who arrived about ten minutes later. They had a guitar player who apparently only knew one song. It was way too loud and detracted from the dinner. I wanted one of the five beers they had on tap. There was no list available and the wait staff had very little understanding about beer. For example, if an IPA is hazy, that's a different style from a West Coast IPA. They had two IPAs on tap - both hazy. Why? My wife got the blackened salmon which was very well prepared. The fish was high quality and the portion size was good. The only oddity for her was trying to determine why you had to request gluten free for this dish as noted on the menu. The waiter asked the kitchen. There was no gluten ingredient in the dish. Why do you have to request gluten free? I had the chicken piccata. It was a bland couple of chicken cutlets swimming in a thin milky tasteless sauce. There were a few capers but almost no presence of any lemon on the chicken and none in the pasta which was described as lemony on the menu. The only good ingredient was the pickled small red peppers. Most times I've ordered chicken piccata it comes with a lemon wedge or two. Disappointing experience.
