I've wanted to check this place out for so long. We stopped by for lunch Sunday, the lone customers until our food came out...at which point there were 2 other tables. They've got ample parking, the place is tidy and cool with interesting decor...apparent pride in ownership. Not the biggest dining room, but a decent size, with order at the counter/brought to your table style service. I actually saw a nice looking steak sandwich online I was craving, but unfortunately that item is gone from the menu now. They've got burgers, chicken, and pizzas, as well as Tillamook ice cream and shakes. We ordered a burger, chicken fingers, and a shake. The shake tasted fabulous, but it was very thin, maybe the thinnest I've ever had. Didn't stop us from sucking it down. The burger was good with a pretty large patty. Chicken was cooked perfectly, good size there too. All the food was serabsolutely piping hot. Everything tasted nice...certainly nothing gourmet...but we enjoyed our meal and left stuffed. We wouldn't hesitate to stop by again when passing through.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Delicious burgers. Pizzas looked great too. Loved the history of the area pictures on the wall. Looking forward to stopping here again!

Big hot chicken strips and lots of fries. Good Coke products.

Good food, good service for an order standing up restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Not much to write home about for the ambiance, just a bunch of family sized tables and some smaller bar stool rounds. Would definitely stop again.

Stopped in the other day for the first time. Overall I'm shocked more people don't know about this place. Looking at the photos, it looks like they have expanded the menu. Place is extremely clean and staff was very friendly. I ordered a double angus burger with fresh cut fries. Very yummy. You can defiantly tell they use some premium beef. Although I didn't have anything to drink, they have a wide variety of adult beverages. The tables were cool and some convert into a chess board. They also have multiple TV's with games going in the background. Parking lot is huge and plenty of room for semi's to park and grab a bite. Check this place out and support a new local restaurant.

Outpost Convenience Store and Eatery is really nice. I attended a soft opening trial day at the store and I can say the food is really good. The menu is short with real Chicago style basics. All beef Chicago Style Hotdog, premium style beef Philly sandwiches. They definitely don't skimp on the amount of beef on the sandwiches. They also have other menu items which include biscuits and gravy, soups, chicken fillet sandwich, and fries. In addition to the Eatery there are convenience store items, drinks, coffee and coming soon lottery. The full opening of the store will be mid May 2018.

The latter are very few in this area, hence my excitement Paper menus can be found at the counter where orders are placed. I ordered a personal pizza with my choice of 4 toppings, one trip thru the salad bar (large oval plate) & a beverage for a llttle under $20! The salad bar is basic yet sufficient: chopped iceberg lettuce, fresh spinach, sliced beets, a variety of chopped fresh veggies, shredded cheese, a good variety of dressings, croutons & other common type of crunchy toppings. Potato & pasta salads were also present, of which I enjoyed some of both. There are choices of salads made by the staff available as per the menu as well, and unlimited salad bar option for those so choosing. Upon ordering, they give you your plate for salad (if applicable), a beverage cup & a number so they can locate you to deliver your pizza. Help yourself to the beverages (photo) & salad (photos), and soon after I was seated & began eating my salad- my pizza was delivered, hot out of the oven! My pizza toppings of choice was artichokes, pineapple, fresh mushrooms & Italian sausage. I found it to be delicious & especially enjoyed the crust: thin & crispy - just the way I like it! My only complaint is about the artichoke hearts: being a fave vegetable of mine & having consumed many artichokes, I could tell that the ones they use are most likely water packed: my first bite was of a very fibrous & inedible leaf. Whereas my fave artichoke hearts are the ones packed in oil & with some vinegar & Italian herbs, understandably the water packed are less costly. Next time, I just won't order them & choose a different topping. The staff are very friendly as well. Alcohol & a small selection of desserts is also available. Overall, a good impression was made in my opinion & I plan to return.
