Was going to try and expedite paper work by signing for a work agreement in advanced so that they could charge my card after completing said work. I ended up changing my mind about wanting to have the work done and called them the next day, only to learn that they had already charged my card for both the work and parts neither of which were delivered. Additionally they refused to refund the amount they charged despite having done nothing. They may do excellent work, but they do need better business practices. read more

Have been coming here for audio needs now for almost 20 years. Have always had good service, good prices and good follow up. That is quite a few stereos and cars later!!! Last stereo I got is a pretty fancy one with a lot of bells and whistles. Needless to say I've had to run it back in and had to have them either explain or tweak the operating system to make it work with my iPhone 5 properly. They've done it all at no charge and have been super nice about it. Will have no problem coming here when I need another stereo down the road. They save me money and do a great job. I own a Silverado. It came with a base radio and speakers. I don't have a lot of time to mess around and listen to sales people who don't have a clue and just want to sell me shit I don't need or want. So I called Outrageous due to their commercial. We call it the Yelling Guy Car Stereo Store. Well I called late right before they closed on a Friday night TRAVIS answered. He was very helpful and patient, so I set up a time to meet Saturday morning. Travis already knew what I was looking for and was prepared with some notes from our prior discussion. I feel that he treated us like we were long time friends and was very knowledgeable about the equipment in the store. In fact everyone in the store including the installer all followed the same professional friendly profile. The Installation was flawless it took a few hours , but that gave me a good excuse to hit Edgefield for a few IPA's. I also was very happy that Travis gave me a quick education on the equipment I had installed. He even texted me after I got home to check on how the equipment was working. Work truck was broken into a week before Christmas 2022 and theives stole over $10k worth of tools. Took the vehicle in to Outrageous audio to upgrade the security system after learning how useless the factory system was on my 2002 Chevy Silverado. Nate seemed nice enough and took a look at the vehicle, still with smashed out canopy windows, then showed options for security systems that were on sale. Decided to go with the Compustar system T13 2 way controllers, Blade module, Max It brain spent $1,050 was excited for install a week later. Didn't drive the truck other than two or three times waiting on new canopy windows. Canopy windows tooks weeks to come in and finally get installed first week of February so truck starts getting used as a daily driver again and things start getting noticed. The new truck alarm installed by Outrageous Audio seemed to be lacking when armed but bumped into so we took it in several times to have the shock sensor sensitivity turned up, ultimately as it sits now it's maxed out on sensitivity but still ineffective. To try and wrap things up ultimately the vehicle security system I was sold is insufficient, it works near the cab but slam the vehicle near the bed where all the tools and valuables are kept and nothing. So essentially anything behind the cab is not protected although I was sold on this system with all these fancy bells and whistles...shock sensor, glass break sensor, tilt senor, GPS, etc...Well what's the point of all that if it can't cover the entire vehicle! They lied about the systems capabilities when they sold it, then they say No Refunds. They will lie to your face, take your money then say all sales final. Absolute Garbage company and bunch of thieves and crooks! STAY FAR FAR AWAY from this place!!! read more

I want to start by saying I have had a few car alarms and stereos installed by several different companies. I am pretty particular about my installs, I have had good experiences and I have some where I paid full price and had to pay someone else to rework poor craftsmanship to get exactly what I want. OUTRAGEOUS AUDIO IS FANTASTIC!!!! I was helped by Abe Nuno he got me exactly what I wanted and delivered all he promised and more. Whenever I asked about a particular way I wanted something installed he would go back and check with the installer to see if they could do it. I have been promised by so many other companies that they could do something until they collected the money, finish the install and come to me later and say "yeah, we couldn't do that." Outrageous audio delivered with everything they said they would. Another thing that stands out to me that this is a business that I would recommend to a girlfriend because I hear a lot of my female friends say they get screwed over buying this kind of stuff because they are women. While I was talking to Abe while he was helping me I overheard a transaction of a mother and daughter talking about issues with their existing stereo. instead of pushing a new stereo he said it sounded like a problem with the fuse. I thought they were gonna get a new stereo pushed on them. Bravo. While waiting I spoke with the owner Blaine who happens to be a bit of a tech junkie and he offered me advice with some video editing software on a totally unrelated project. After the install I was showing a friend of mine the stereo I just bought. She liked the features of the stereo and wanted one without all the bells and whistle I had. We went down there again and Abe was able to give her exactly what she wanted. Again.....another job well done. I have had the install in for a few months now and I have had to go back twice because I was having trouble with some of the settings and have always been helped. Abe comes out to my car does some testing and is always helpful. I went in and bought one of their package deals. It was a memphis audio 6.5 mini mojo loaded and a xenon xa 1000.1 amp. I spent $500 and ever since it got hooked up the amp goes into protect mode because they sold me a 2 ohm amp with a 1 ohm sub!! It took me forever to figure out why through trouble shooting. They should know this stuff! Not happy at all with my purchase. read more

Been there several times with good service. This time went to change my radio sales guy walked me over to look at rear cameras. He gave me a quote on it I then declined. Later that week I opened the box for the manual an noticed that it came with a free camera. Went back to ask why he tried to rip me off and he lied right in my face and said he never tried to sale me a camera. I then showed him the camera he tried to sale me and all he could say was you can pay and we will install it now. They did give us a great deal and great customer service but........ we did the financing and was told a final price but when we went to PAY it off 5 days later we were NEVER told we would have to pay an additional 200.00 because we live in Vancouver. NATE and DOUG are INCREDIBLE!!! I went there to install a Compustar alarm on my car. (A birthday present) Nate was helpful, outgoing and happy from minute one. I wanted to have the door unlock feature it wouldn't work on my car. He started the install right away before helping me get a stereo, backup camera and screen for my car. While chatting about what I wanted it came up that it was my actual birthday. The backup camera and stereo were my birthday present to me. I chose a stereo, camera and screen that worked 4 me. It was a busy Saturday so it was going to take a while. No problem I was having a lot done. I decided to go home and get ready for dinner out. Nate called to let me know they didn't have the screen I wanted and offered a free $10 upgrade for the error. When Nate called back to tell me it was done he was so excited he was just about singing when he said happy birthday to you. I started coming to Outrageous Audio back in 2003. The advertised "slashed" pricing drew me in, but the hands on knowledgeable staff, great service and continued commitment to the customers kept me going back. It started with my Camaro in highschool needing a bass package. The very helpful staff made some recommendations and after I internet searched for days came to the same conclusion as the recommendation. I shouldn't have wasted my own time. I did my first install myself and it went great! Next was for the 67 stang a couple years later. Again, the guys at Outrageous Audio set me up with a great package I installed myself. I did price shop and found the prices extremely competitive. Again, the service and knowledge made it an easy choice. I recommended the company to a friend with a jacked up Ford F350. He spent over 5k on his setup. Custom boxes, subs, amps and head unit. He opted to have it installed as the lifetime warrenty was what he was after. A couple days later there was an issue with his system. He took it back and the team there found that there had been and issue on the install and fixed it on the spot, free of charge and was very apologetic. Yes, sometimes mistakes happen but what also happened is Outrageous Audio stood behind the warranty 100% no questions! A couple years ago I went in looking for some sort of equipment to replace what had warn out from years of use. I was looking for a portable music station to use for side work such as parties, weddings, birthdays etc. I had never seen such a thing in there but figured I would try. I walked in and Blane was actually there. He personally aksed what I was after and listened. He actually had somthing in his personal garage that he had his employee run and go get. This not only was amazing that he had exactly what I was after, but he handed the keys to his house to his employee. This tells me that Blane has put together a team that he trusts and Blane is an employer they want to work for. The employee returned with a 2 speaker portable PA system. He hooked it up right there in the store and I was sold. Lastly, I recently purchased a new Mustang. It had a already been installed with a touchscreen kenwood head unit, but it was lacking the bass. I went in and decided to go with a couple 10 inch Kickers in a box that was designed for my car, new amp and because there was an advertised promotion I bought a newer Kenwood deck. I did the in house financing this time as it was close to 2,500.00, worth every penny! I did check pricing after the purchase, I couldn't find it cheaper, even online! The finance process took just a few minutes. I again opted to install the system myself. It took me a couple weeks to get the time to install. Everything was set and the system was AWESOME. However, it was only awesome for a few minutes then the subs stopped working. The power was not showing on the amp and the fuse off the battery was good. I (yes frustrated) called Outrageous and told them what happened. Yes, I personally installed the equipment. No there was no warranty on the install. But, here is what I was told. "Come on down, we will figure it out". I drove down, and I say this because I live in Carson, Wa. It is a 45 minute drive one way to go to this shop. I will always make the drive. I showed up and with in 5 minutes the tech pulled the seat out (didn't know it did that) and found an unnecessary additional fuse block and the fuse had blown. There was no charge, and he even gave me a fuse free of charge. We went in and he recommended a permanent fix. A solid distribution block, no fuse. The car had one off the battery and both amps were fused, no need for another. Blane and his team have time after time taken care of ALL my audio needs and surpassed what it means to have customer service. He has EARNED my trust and my business for life. read more

Went in to check out remote starters. I was met by Nate who was very nice and informative. He explained the remote starters and how they worked with my key fob. I informed him that Car Toys had what I wanted and how much it was. Nate came back after talking to the installers and said they would match their price. I agreed to purchase the remote starter and have it installed. I was told it would be half an hour. It was installed and completed in about 15 minutes. I got there and the low price they gave me was for the upgraded price and another place. I totally felt like some of them especially Peter is like a Viper Snake to get as much as he can get from you. And if your weak, well your screwed. This place will never get my business if they keep operating this way. I will also spread to word to all my family and friends about it. I understand people will complain about a lot and some things cannot be changed. But this can.
