Probably a 3.5 but I rounded up because their App is bomb and it gives you live updates on where you are in line. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you take advantage of the online wait list, TRUST me!! Farm to table food is always a plus, and that's what make First Watch such a hit. You can taste the freshness. The space they occupy used to be Bob Evans and I'm a fan of Bob Evans and was sad to see it go. First Watche's menu is just okay to me and I always get the same thing, the "Tri-Fecta". It's always good, especially the blueberry pancake, but I'd like to switch things up every now and then.. Oh well.. Lol! So if you're looking for a healthier choice than Cracker Barrel or some of the other popular breakfast restaurants, First Watch is probably the spot for you.. Just get in line online.. Love the food here…read more Hate the DJ. I'm a first time mom who is the primary caregiver and full time work from home employee. I don't GET to come out often anymore. But when I do, we go to places with nothing but respect for the places we go, knowing we have a really well behaved baby makes it easier to go places. We came here because we used to love the service, food and atmosphere. Even with a small baby, we'd already been here twice. No issues. Came again with my 2.5 month old baby on a Friday after a really long week in the house. We left the restaurant early enough that by the time we left it was still daylight. Arrived around 5:30-6pm. Ordered our food and as it arrived a DJ came in. As we were almost done (about 39 min later) a DJ came in and started blasting club music. I knew we would've be able to stay much longer because the chatter mixed with the DJ would be too much anyways so I requested the check while we prepared to leave. Because it started getting SO loud I asked the host to see if the DJ could turn down the music while we got the check, asking for only 3-5 minutes specifically so my husband could pack up the baby and we could leave, and get out of their hair. The DJ turned up the music so loud we had to remove my daughter from the establishment before the check was paid. The host came back over to me and like in a club had to get really close to my face to apologize for the DJ Turing the music up even louder. He said " I am SOO SORRY! I have no idea what the DJ is doing or why they turned up the music, I asked to have it turned down and they turned it up." (Had ordered a second glass of wine since my husband was driving, and was the only two glasses I'd had since pregnancy). Didn't even get to finish my second glass. Needless to say I bought her earmuffs that night. It was the single most inconsiderate moment we've had since she was born. I asked him to help me cater a BBQ for 50+ people. 1.) He provided me with an initial tasting. 2.) He offered to roll the costs of tables, chairs, and chaffing dishes into his fee, which was very convenient for me! He even offered to come the day before to help setup. 3.) I asked for a second tasting to fine tune the menu Items I was having for the BBQ he stated that he would cook the chicken on site the day of... I explained to him that BBQing chicken on the grill takes SKILL and that I prefer the chicken be baked, or parboiled and then placed on the grill. He assured me that wasn't necessary. Here's what I asked for, and what I got: I ASKED FOR: I told him that I did NOT want chicken or any meat in my pasta salad and wanted it to be a veggie pasta salad. I also requested that the HUGE pieces of cheese that he put in the pasta salad either be left out or cut smaller or replaced with a less dry cheese WHAT I GOT A "Veggie Pasta Salad" with chicken and HUGE pieces of cheese...after my vegetarian friends found meat in the pasta. I ASKED FOR: General Tso Wings and Medium Spicy Jerk Wings WHAT I GOT: Wings that looked the exactly the same and were under cooked and had to be put back on the grill and into the oven the next day. (RAW WINGS ON THE GRILL MEANS UNDER COOKED INSIDE AND OVERCOOKED OUTSIDE. I ASKED FOR: Nice hamburgers...I SPECIFICALLY SAID I did not want the cheap thin hamburgers WHAT I GOT: A big pile of cheap thin flying disk hamburgers that were dry. The deviled eggs were completely doused in paprika and were not served to the guests and remained in the fridge until someone asked about them...the same for the fruit salad that looks like it prepared days in advance and not fresh. After the food was setup we were spinning around digging through the dishwasher looking for serving utensils because the caterer that I paid 4 figures to did not bring serving utensils. THE MAIN ISSUE HERE I am a small business owner myself...I called Mr. Chase and asked to meet with him to talk about how the event went. I texted him not less than SIX TIMES and each time he would give me a date and then either not respond or came up with a reason not to meet. I am assuming this is because he is aware that the event did not go to plan. He has avoided speaking with me (see photos) and THAT is the sign of bad business practices. I even had a church that wished to hire him and still never responded. A business like this survives off of word of mouth and referrals. I was hoping that general feedback and a conversation would provide some encouragement and opportunity for growth. This is apparently something that Mr. Chase is not interested in. My suggestion: PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
