Our toilet was leaking through to the ceiling downstairs and for months I didn't realize that the problem was a simple fix the starter on the toilet wasn't shutting off the way. On a Monday morning from all days the entire bathroom floor was filled with water. I called Bryan (found him on small businesses on Yelp) and he responded that same day and instructed me to shut off the toilet until he got there. I was ready pay whatever necessary to do the job right.... his disrespectful tone raised my eyebrows on the first call, but I assumed he had had a long day-- he called me well after hours (I get up at 4am for my own job), so I assumed he was tired. when next we spoke he was in full "mansplain" mode and gave me a lot of inaccurate BS about Delta faucets on build.com vs. big box stores saying the same faucet with the same part # that shipped direct from delta, was inferior. I don't know why I entertained employing this company's service after the first conversation-- but when he said "I'm trying to educate you..." about build.com vs big box... I decided to NEVER use this company. I am highly educated and respect those with technical expertise in other fields, but I will not tolerate such insulting treatment... TLDR: A hidden gem that I will exclusively use for all future plumbing work I called Overstreet Plumbing on a Sunday around 3:23pm after not being able to shut off my main water valve. I spoke with Mrs. Overstreet at who was very friendly and promptly notified Mr. Brian Overstreet of my issue. Brian called me at 3:44pm and helped explain the issue to me, some options, provided a price estimate, and offered to come out right away to replace the main valve. He was polite, knowledgeable, and not at all pushy. I called him back at 3:55pm to confirm the project and he arrived very quickly at around 4:20pm. Throughout the whole project Brian was super friendly and he clearly knew his trade, working with great efficiency - his organization, cleanliness, and depth of knowledge of the plumbing trade inspired confidence in the repair. The work was completed in no more than an hour after his arriving at my house, changing what was a stressful situation when I called at 3:23pm to peace of mind and a new, perfectly installed main water valve in just 2 hours from time of first call, all at a reasonable price by my research of what this repair typically costs. I intend to use Overstreet plumbing for all my future plumbing needs, and will recommend Brian's business to everyone I know needing plumbing help. Within 40 minutes of submitting and email request to Overstreet on a Sunday morning, I had a response to set up next steps. If you're looking for a plumber who is reasonable and stands by his work do NOT use Brian Overstreet. I was in the process of purchasing a condo but there was a leak that needed to be repaired in the master bath. The owners agreed to pay but I coordinated the work. Brian has worked in my building before and ordered a new faucet and handles assembly. I was on the phone when he arrived to install it and he did not show me the finish of the new set. When he was finished I looked at it and it was totally the wrong finish and didn't come close to matching the faucet at the other sink in the master! He NEVER should have installed what he ordered! His wife worked with Koehler and they ordered another finish they thought would match. His wife came with him to install it and she admitted it was still the wrong finish! They both said they were committed to making this right! I then decided to replace both faucets to ensure they matched. Current owners would pay for one and I would pay for one. Brian sent me to Ferguson's to find the faucets I wanted to use. When I called him to tell him which style to order he said he changed his mind. It wasn't his fault the wrong finish was ordered and he would not pay to order any more faucets! The first owners paid him because the leak was fixed but now I have 2 very different non-matching faucets and handles in my master bath and Brian won't stand by his work! I'm VERY dissatisfied and he was VERY rude to me on the phone. DON'T use Overstreet Plumbing! read more

I had Overstreet Plumbing come out to fix a leaky valve under my kitchen sink, put in hot and cold shut off valves under the sink, and install a faucet that I had purchased. When Brian looked at the job, he suggested replacing the shut off valve for the ice maker as well, which he did. When he went to turn the main water supply back on the valve broke so he replaced that as well. He was on site for 3.5 hours. I estimate the cost of materials was between $150 and $200 (using Home Depot website). The total cost of the repairs was $800 so labor cost was between $600 and $650. read more

He explained the issue to me (leaking pipes from the water meter up to home) and went over the different options to fix it. He came with his crew to dig up the yard and replace the pipes and by the time I came home, my front yard was all put together again! Brian and his crew were very careful and respectful of keeping my home clean, and were very considerate of my dog that was pretty scared while the work was being performed.
