Fast forward two years later, I wanted to remodel my office with a built in desk, cabinets, and shelving and contracted again with Old World. I had very specific requests with this project and Fred and Gabby were able to deliver again! They worked quickly, cleanly, and were open to minor changes that I raised during the project. There is absolutely nothing I can say about Fred and his team other than unbelievably professional and exceptional customer service. We had about 5 different companies come down to bid on our kitchen remodel and there was NO comparison in responsiveness. The bid was complete and Fred and a few of his team members brought the bid down to explain it to us. They helped us with design questions and when we picked out our Quartz from a local supplier instead of through their supplier it was not a problem and their installer stored it until we were ready. We had our kitchen cabinets refinished in acrylic (exterior) and enamel (interior). Additionally: -new drawer boxes were built. -new pullouts were built. -pullouts were added. -drawer and pullout slides were replaced with soft close under mount slides. -all hinges were replaced with soft close hinges. Fred, Jordan and the entire team were a pleasure to work with. The price was reasonable, the work exceeded our expectations and they were done on time. The person who installed wallpaper after they were done had never seen their work before. This person is a perfectionist. His comment about the finish: "this is auto quality". I recently gave a poor review regarding bathroom cabinets we had refaced. A few months after the work was completed some of the paint began to peel on one of the cabinet doors. We tried for two weeks to contact OW to repair the problem but received no response. Fred finally contacted us to let us know they had been closed for 2 weeks due to a death in the family. We used this company to repair and refinish a large Ralph Lauren armoire. One of the doors was damaged and a previous repair was poorly done. OW was responsive and professional throughout. We first sent them photos of the damaged door which they assessed they could repair. They then examined it in-person, recommended what needed to be done to bring the entire piece back, provided a detailed and descriptive estimate and arranged to have the piece transported to their facility. It took several weeks to complete the project as the unseasonably hot weather was not conducive to doing the work. OW responded to inquiries throughout and, when their delivery company flaked out, they brought the armoire back themselves as promised. We were thrilled with the results. There is no evidence of the previous damage and the whole piece looks better than it did when we purchased it. And all this at a reasonable price.
