Cajun shrimp and grits

Great little place near the University. Food was good and well priced. Service was quick, polite and helpful. We got the Cajun shrimp and grits, Owl special and the hungry owl. Everything was served at the proper temperature and quick.

We went here on a Sunday to get breakfast around noon. There were no seats inside, but that's okay we grabbed takeout. The line was very long, but our food only took 15 minutes after we ordered. This is diner food, so expect diner food! But, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality for everything, particularly my pork sausage was great. My boyfriend does not eat pork, and I was also really happy with the amount of choice they had for breakfast meat that was not pork based! He got turkey and beef bacon and they were both great as well. It was 35$ for all of this food which was great, we both had left overs. The guy who took our order up front was also really nice and efficient. I don't know his name or else I would thank him for his hard work!

If you're looking for a value breakfast with large portions, quick service and a solid amount of variety, here you go! While it is a little old looking with some lumps in the booth seating, I got eggs, toast, potatoes and meat for $10. The omelette was cooked pretty well, the toast was buttered and jammed, and the grits were plentiful. Not the best for large groups or for a cute brunch, but split up between the booths, you'll get food that's easy on the wallet.

Another Temple Breakfast spot, Owl Breakfast is a similar to other small breakfast spots in the campus area. The staff and friendly but the space is very small and not good for groups. The food is good for the price, but could be served hotter; my grits were lukewarm. Again, not good for large groups, and would go early based on its central campus location.

Dominque was an awesome sever. Very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed....! We really enjoyed our food and liked that there are a lot of side items to choose from. Pancakes and hash browns were perfect.... also loved syrup dispenser that allows for a little to come out at a time. One star off for a dirty coffee cup but c'est la vie! A great local spot for Temple students,

Amazing ! The staff was beyond pleasant and the food was amazing! I enjoyed the hometown vibe we got and the pancakes were to die for, I can't wait to visit again!

Great customer service people and great tasting food.

Friendly service, good-sized portions: bacon and cheese omelet with hash browns (sliced and browned) and toast ~$7.70 total.

Please open a K'Far in Austin, TX!! Pistachio sticky bun - Absolutely delicious! Egg and cheese Jerusalem bagel - Delicious! Crispy, flavorful, slightly spicy. Yemenite iced coffee - So good! Like a spiced Vietnamese coffee. Sachlav - Loved! Like a cappuccino but with less milk. It wasn't as sweet which was a nice contrast to the sticky bun. The chai latte had great depth and spice flavors, and the Shakshuka pastry was a great mix of flaky puff pastry and strong tomato and egg flavors. Just knocking off one star because for a $5.75 latte, they only filled the glass halfway up. I also got one of their famous pistachio sticky bun to take to go!

The restaurant is quite spacious with a warm, inviting atmosphere, beautiful lighting, and both indoor and outdoor seating options. I chose to sit outside on a gorgeous day, and it couldn't have been a better setting. There was music playing in the background, creating a relaxed vibe that made the experience even more enjoyable. The service was quick, attentive, and appropriately paced throughout the meal. I also ordered a cocktail, which was absolutely delicious. The real star of the show, though, was the Short Rib Hash. It was hands down the highlight of my meal and honestly TO DIE FOR! Flavorful, perfectly prepared, and something I'd order again without hesitation. Between the atmosphere, excellent service, great drinks, and unforgettable food, Urban Farmer was a fantastic dining experience. I would definitely return the next time I'm in Philadelphia.

A quick note for first-time visitors: the restaurant has multiple entrances, and I initially arrived at the back door. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in directing me to the correct entrance. The space has a unique atmosphere. The indoor dining area felt quite dark, but the restaurant appears to have multiple levels, including an upstairs dining area and a bar, which adds to its charm. I started with a cocktail and really enjoyed it. It was fruity, well-balanced, and had just the right amount of alcohol without being overpowering. Based on recommendations, I ordered the burger. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype for me. It could have been cooked better, and overall I wasn't particularly impressed with it. What stood out most was the service. My server was attentive, friendly, and checked in regularly without being intrusive. Overall, The Dandelion offers a pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, and great cocktails. While the burger wasn't a standout for me, I'd be willing to return and try other menu items.

Since it was the weekend, we had to wait in the lobby downstairs for about 15-20 minutes. Luckily, we made it up just in time to catch the sunset and take some amazing photos.
