Brand new property right by Bellis Fair Mall. We were here for Family Weekend at WWU, so a bit far away, but would stay definitely stay again. The property was clean, rooms spacious, bathrooms had separate tub (deep) and shower. I would suggest adding a few towel hooks or towel bars. Price includes beer or wine (2 glasses), and soup and salad (food is between 5-6 or so, drinks between 5-10). They also have a small selection of dinners and appetizers for extra $. Full hot breakfast buffet was quite good. Every single employee we met was friendly and welcoming. The first night of our stay there was a very unfortunate domestic violence incident in the wee hours (just horrifying and awful to hear!). Nothing under the hotel's control, but they handled it well and were most apologetic. One thing to be aware of...the pool is about the size of a large hot tub. If you're coming here to swim, you'll be disappointed. Only one elevator serving the entire property, so you may be waiting at times. read more

This hotel is perfect for a quick stay! They opened last August so everything is new and it's super clean. The staff is awesome and very friendly. The rooms are great too and the A/C's dominate! The beds and pillows are super comfy! They have free breakfast in the morning which opens at 7am and it's a full line breakfast. Biscuits and gravy, sausage and eggs and plenty more!!! I moved from Bellingham a few years ago and stay at the Oxford whenever I visit. Although the location is not ideal for me (next to the mall), it is always clean, comfortable, with very efficient friendly service. They still give you a warm breakfast (adapted for safety during COVID) and a couple of free cocktails for each guest. Perfection. read more

Great place to stay. Nice rooms for decent prices and great staff. The building is relatively new so it's not run down and dilapidated like a lot of hotels are. They have cocktail hour in the evening where they serve free snacks and they give you two free drink tickets when you check in. Location is okay. Right next to Bellis Fair Mall. But if you're aim is to hang out in downtown Bellingham this isn't the best choice. That said it's not a far drive to downtown from here and freeway access is very close. read more

My wife and I did a small trip up to Bellingham to do some sightseeing and snowboarding in Mt. Baker, and after tirelessly searching for a place to stay, we ended up at the Oxford Suites based on affordability and the reviews that it had already had on other websites. The Oxford is small so the staff are very attentive and friendly. They explained all the things that the hotel had to offer and goes above and beyond their duties as employees. They are always engaging the customer and asking if they need anything. A few things that we loved about this is our daily complimentary breakfast buffet, daily two drink tickets per person, a snack bar with soup & salad, and a juice bar. We stayed here on our to and from Vancouver, BC. Wonderful brand new hotel with enthusiastic and friendly staff! We were fortunate to book a 2-room suite with beautiful bathrooms and charming nautical decor. A couple of our friends visited us and were impressed by the evening reception in the lobby. We had free drinks and soup and salad. A young lady with housekeeping even held the elevator door for me and helped me with my fully-loaded luggage cart as we we were checking out. Very clean, big room, decent breakfast in the morning. Only complaint is that they don't let you add to your supply of single serving shampoos and soaps. We stayed here during second weekend of February. I got food poisoning after eating their breakfast. Right after eating I felt uneasy. Then I had nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and body ache - all signs of food poisoning. It was either the bread, hash browns, or the orange juice. My wife ate other stuff and she didn't have any issue. The room was clean, hotel quality was excellent for the price, and we liked the fact that breakfast and two complimentary drinks were included in the price. The restaurant opens until 10 pm and prices are very reasonable. But none of this makes up for getting sick from the food and ruining your health while you expect to take time off to enjoy the weekend. read more

What a great hotel! Wow, was I surprised! It is modern and clean and beautiful! I thought it might be frumpy from the photos on the internet, but it was very cool. Awesome buffet breakfast came with the room, with hot eggs, porridge, bagels, potatoes and more (yogurt, fruit, granola). I did not bring my swimsuit to use the steam room, jacuzzi, pool or sauna, but I wish I had! They had a nice looking gym and laundry room. All for around $100 for a peaceful night's sleep. Oxford Suites has unfortunately taken a political stance by not allowing its guests to watch FOX News. When I called the front desk to ask why FOX News was not an option via Direct TV, the answer was "it's not political". The fact that you chose that response as your immediate reaction says otherwise. Seriously? You expect the consumer to believe Oxford Suites cannot afford a $45 per month package from Direct TV to allow FOX News? I stay in a lot of hotels. Many are "higher scale" based on brand and price scale. However, OxfordSuites in Bellingham was definitely right up at the top with customer service! Everyone was kind, cheerful, and helpful! The room was clean and nicely decorated. The person doing the hiring and training for this hotel is doing a superb job. We decided to use this hotel for our wedding guests (based off a previous experience our family had at the hotel). And, from start to finish, they were wonderful! Nicole was our main contact and was very timely with her communication, always helpful and friendly! Nicole even wrote up a welcome letter with shuttle times on it so that guests knew when and where shuttles were coming and going. I didn't expect that and was very impressed with that extra. The guests had free drinks, appetizers, and breakfast. Their rooms were clean and comfortable. And, the kids had a pool to play in (and their parents loved the hot tub and sauna). read more

So my husband's been staying here for over a couple months for work, and I just came out here with our son to visit for a month. Well, things are pretty tough when I'm out here without family or my kid's preschool to get some time off to myself, so I'm already a bit high stressed since my kid is a very very hyperactive toddler. Well Chef Edwin has already demonstrated going above and beyond the other day by giving us food still, after usual hours of 7:30 when we made it just a little too late for dinner when I wasn't able to get out of bed early enough from being sick. He was literally cleaning it all up, and pulled it all back out to stop his cleaning especially for us. He didn't even look upset, and actually did it with a smile, as he's always been a very friendly person. Well, today my son was sick, and puked all over me in the dining area. So the employee in training, Thomas, was very proactive about helping us get cleaned up, which was wonderful. He was helped out by Tyler, who is really good with my kid too. Then shortly afterwards when I came back down for toilet paper at the front desk, my kid was back to his normal hyperactive self and throwing a temper tantrum...a woman named Rebecca who also worked there overheard me ask for toilet paper while the man at the front was helping someone, and so she went and grabbed it quickly and immediately without me even noticing she was there. She came just in time, because I was pretty upset by this very old woman who said in front of me, that my kid was ruining her time there. He's just a kid dude! Like I understand how some older people have less tolerance for noise n all, but that was just wrong to keep going on like she was, it wasn't like I wasn't being proactive about attempting to get him to stop. Even being older, that's no excuse for acting the way she was. Even when I passed her at the elevator to take the stairs to not be stuck in an elevator with her or bother her more, she complained out loud as we just passed her while walking by. The employees have been totally helpful and tolerant of us though, so I'm very impressed and appreciative of them. Cassidy is good with locking the sliding doors and turning off the fireplace when my kid tries to run off and get too close too, so she's really good with child safety. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Great food, free for dinner and breakfast, 2 drink vouchers a day per person in the room, unlimited free coffee...who can beat that? Totally recommend this place for sure. Might edit to add more names later once I get them. Thank you Oxford Suites Bellingham staff! Some things I'd like to add, is that I love the USB ports to charge things in the room, things are kept pretty up to date. There's also 2 parking spaces for charging electric cars (only to be parked in while charging). Great area too, there's a WinCo that's super cheap and 24 hours right across the street (cash or debit card only though), then a mall right across the street too. *UPDATE* Emery showed pride in his work by reading over the Yelp reviews, which really helps businesses know where to improve and where they excel. I know he read over it, because he saw me come to the front for drink tickets, so he let me know the guest I had a problem with had left. Yay! (Might I add, he's one of the sharpest dressed employees in the entire hotel in my opinion, totally has that natural professional look.) Anywho, he was also really nice n cleaned the juice off my drink tickets that spilled as I set our stuff down to run after my son. read more

Im kinda picky with my hotel visits. This one is nice. Very very clean and spacious. Everything including the bathroom is bigger than the video shows. Also has a very nice mini pool...4 footer....sauna and hotub that really works. comes with free buffet breakfast...great....and 2 night cap drinks. If I had to complain it would be that its just a little hard to find the entrance off of the main road. But, thats not really their fault. It is a very safe feeling hotel and enjoyed my visit. oh....and the staff was more than helpful...great place read more

I was very impressed with how Oxford Suites adapted to the Covid reality. Masks are required, sanitizer is everywhere, TV remotes had disposable plastic covers, breakfast buffet was converted into made-to-order breakfasts, and more. I am so happy I chose the Oxford Suites for the room block for my wedding. They set up a great discount on rooms for my guests and gave me 1 night free because of the number of reservations in my room block. They are also the only hotel I could find in Bellingham that offered a shuttle service to my venue. I worked with Nicole to set up the block and she was an absolute delight to work with. She responded to my emails quickly and answered all of my questions. She even reminded me too book a room when she saw that I hadn't made my reservation yet. The hotel itself is beautiful. I stayed in a 2-room suite for 2 nights. It had 3 beds, 2 bathrooms and was very spacious. There was plenty of room for 10 + people to hang out while we got ready for the wedding. The beds were comfortable and warm and I enjoyed the subtle nautically themed décor. Every guest who stays at the Oxford gets 2 free drinks and a free appetizer as well as a free breakfast in the morning. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had. They have delicious hot breakfast options as well as the standard continental fare. My bridesmaids and I didn't get lunch and were thankful to have a big breakfast to keep us going for the wedding. All the wedding guests who stayed at the hotel had nothing but good things to say. Even my sister in law whose room wasn't ready when she arrived was impressed by how the staff compensated her for the inconvenience with free food and drinks. Beware ! Just called for a reservation. Check in Feb. 14 (valentines day) leaving the 18th. Not only rate higher on the 14th but the whole week. Told my AAA or AARP was not honored this week. Never ever heard these discounts not honored due tue a certain date. I have stayed at Oxford Suites in Redding many times. Excellent operation. Very disappointed that they would use this one day to " fleece" their users. Called the Hilton property (Hampton) got an upgrade due to Honors membership. No increase in rates for the 14th. Note to corporate: I'm going to be in Bellingham numerous times this year for ongoing treatment for a medical procedure. Not using Oxford. read more

This newer hotel is certainly as nice as any other hotel in Bellingham, but it wasn't anything to get overly excited about. The best part is the breakfast in the morning which was surprisingly full of choices. You also get two free drinks for staying here which is a nice touch. I do believe the staff care about their guests. The jets in the hot tub were not working when I was here. The rooms were nice enough but fairly standard. The bathroom was nice as it offers separate shower and tub, as well as an attached water closet separate from the main bathroom. read more

The staff is so helpful, the rooms conveniently set up with refrigerators with separate freezer compartment, it has always been very clean and the beds way above average. We reserved a block of rooms at the Oxford Suites for our wedding weekend and are so glad we decided to go with them! First of all, the block room rate was a significantly better deal for our guests than what we were able to obtain at other hotels. We were therefore pleased from the start with our experience and it just got better! The hotel was wonderful: staff answered our questions in a timely fashion, they scheduled complementary shuttles to our wedding venue for our guests, and they upgraded us to a suite once we filled our block! Amazing! Stayed the night with our 4 kids and was blown away by the hospitality and perks of this hotel. With 4 little ones, we spent most of the time at the pool, followed by the complimentary cocktails, soup, salad, and sodas. This place is super friendly from the second I called their front desk and made a reservation, checking in, asking for directions. Entering larger than large super clean, modern and fresh hotel room/suite with a sofa and leather bench and contemporary but comfy furnishings. Not one smell of Febreeze or strong cleaning sprays. The amenities are supremely generous--homeopathic essential oil infused shampoos, conditioners, lotions. I'm heading out to have a complimentary wine and appetizer service--and i don't need to rush because it is available until 10:30pm! Tomorrow, I have a delicious hot breakfast to look forward to. I hope there is Oxford Suites everywhere I travel because this is now my new standard. I love this hotel. Every time I need to stay in Bellingham, this is my go-to spot. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, the rooms are always clean and up to my standards, and each guest gets two complimentary beverages a night (beer, wine, or soda probably) as well as breakfast in the morning. You can redeem your beverage tickets at the "reception" each evening at 5pm, which includes a complimentary salad/soup bar as well. They have a few micro brews and one domestic (Bud Light) beer, so a pretty good selection for what's essentially free beer. The soup and salad is good too. Breakfast is a pretty standard continental style hotel breakfast. I'm always impressed and will continue to stay here when I'm in the area. read more

Frequent business traveler here! Was just at the Oxford last week and found this to be a gem of a hotel! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and always open to making a suggestion for dinner or drinks. They have an evening beer or cocktail reception, where you can get 2 drinks included in your stay. Breakfast was included as well and was delicious! I recommend this hotel idyll are in the area! My girlfriends and I stayed here last weekend before the Bellingham Bay half marathon. The entire place looked very new, and our stay was very comfortable. The room (family suite) was spacious, clean, and modern. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Wi-Fi really didn't work, but that is the only thing I could find wrong.
