This hotel is in a great location in downtown Paso! They have a shuttle that runs until 10pm and takes you within a five mile radius. Pick up and drop off which is nice. Free parking, free breakfast and free drink and appetizer at the bar area from 5:30-7:30pm. Rooms are spacious and comfy! This location even has an outdoor pool, family friendly for sure.

Nice room and nice stay. Bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. Bathroom has a very nice layout, separate room for the toilet, large vanity, separate bathtub, and separate shower. Large bathroom. Ample space to hang up clothes and a few drawers for the smaller items. They offer a breakfast buffet, and as my husband put it, better than the average. They custom make omelets. The food was good. Yogurt or Oatmeal with toppings. A few options for toast (breads and bagels). Fruit was only bananas but that was fine. There is also something each evening (they have a full bar) for drinks and snacks, however, we didn't join in. There is a lot of indoor seating in the dining/bar areas, outdoor seating by the pool, and another area by the firepit. If you are looking for areas to meet up with friends or co-workers, lots of options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Greeted us anytime we walked past the reception desks. There is a shuttle that can take you into town or the airport (5 mile radius max) but for the wineries you are on our own or call an Uber. Cons: 1. Only one elevator and it's a small one. We often had to wait for several especially when people were check out with a cart! Common complaint with others staying at the hotel. They need at least one more for a place this size, and preferably a larger one. 2. Bathroom lighting is very dim, bring your own lighted mirror if you need light for make-up. There is a smaller portable mirror you can take over to the desk, but still not great lighting. 3. Bathroom lighting is automatic (this is where you are thankful it is dimly lit!) so when you walk into the bathroom in the middle of the night (after lots of wine tasting!), lights go on! I am sure this is for safety but a bit annoying! Overall, we enjoyed our stay (3 nights) and would return along with recommending it to others.

Let me begin with I am a fan of this chain. I've stayed at other locations and always had a pleasant stay and this stay was no exception!! What i really appreciated about this particular one they are totally dog friendly. If your dogs will be behaved, they are welcome. They don't discriminate based on dog's weight- as someone who has a giant breed dog this is a huge relief. The staff here are amazing. Very polite very helpful. The facility is clean and feels upscale. It's walkable to downtown but far enough away not to have a lot of noise. Our room was clean and comfortable and quiet although we didn't spend much time there cause we were meeting up with family and it was a quick visit. Whenever we travel if there's an Oxford suites with the first place, I look for a reservation I would definitely stay here again

Booked a weekend trip to Paso on a whim and found this hotel on bookings.com. It ended up being the perfect find and a great experience! The front desk staff was great, the room was clean, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was super cute! We were given two free drink tickets per night of our stay to use during the social hour at the bar which was a nice perk. They also had free breakfast in the morning which came in clutch. I would highly recommend!

    Complimentary drink and appetizer.

Oxford Suites is a sweet, small hotel with great hospitality. The staff members are professional and kind. They provide breakfast in the morning, a complimentary drink, and an appetizer at dinnertime. They are located near several restaurants and stores within walking distance. There are plenty of parking spots. They have an indoor gym. They have one elevator, so it does take a while to call it. They have stairs, so it's not that bad unless you have heavy luggage. There is a $20 fee if you want to check in earlier.

This is an amazing hotel. Located a close walk from the Paso Square. They opened 2019 and the place looks brand new today five years later. Nice happy hour, one free cocktail, wine or beer. And an appetizer! Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished and decorated. Large bathrooms and nice towels. Rooms are quiet. Lots of food and drink items located between the bar and check in desks. Nice hot buffet style breakfast. Omlettes available also. The rates were good and this will be my preferred hotel when visiting Paso Robles.

What a great find for us! We were very impressed with Oxford Suites! The hotel is very clean and very well maintained. Rooms are a nice size with a spacious bath with shower and a nice soaking tub. They have an onsite bar- cafe where they have happy hour every night-a free drink and an appetizer. Breakfast, also included in price, is a big spread of options including made to order omelettes. Location is convenient, just a few blocks from the downtown square. And prices is very reasonable. We usually stay at a AirBNB, but now that we discovered Oxford, we will definitely be back here when staying in Paso Robles.

Well, don't pay extra for the early check-in cause it isn't guaranteed unfortunately. We paid online for early check in since we'd made reservations for a few wineries but when we called just to make sure we would be guaranteed an early check in, not only were we told no we weren't, but the lady hung up on us. Needless to say when we went to check in we had a few choice words. They were redeemed however with one of the guys up front who was able to calm us down and give us the early check in we paid for. The room is nice...has no closet but comfy. Went down to the bar to use our free drink tickets. They only allow well drinks, beer or house wines, I ended up just paying for a Tito's and tonic. The bartenders were cool and informative about where to eat later in the evening. We enjoyed the swift pickup of the shuttle from the Firestone across the street and we got a kick out of the driver! The free breakfast was nice! There was everything from oatmeal to made to order omelettes. I will most definitely hit this place up to stay the next time I'm on the coast.

Bathrooms are spacious with soft close barn doors

A great place for an overnight! The room was so spacious, clean and new! There was a great soaking tub we took advantage of, the traditional Oxford suites breakfast, good for people who like eggs and nothing for picky eaters, but if you need something to get you going it works. The lobby is very chic, there are meeting rooms, and the social hour (one drink per person and appetizer) was a great perk. The bar tender was nice and efficient! There is a pool, outdoor seating area with string lights, and ample breakfast seating. There is nothing within short walking distance, so be aware. Be aware, one elevator for the whole hotel! Stay on a lower level or use the stairs (outdoor opening). Overall we would stay here again!

In the evening the fireplaces are burning with hardwood every night and they offer fresh made s'mores to hotel guests. There's actually a s'mores menu. The whole environment is almost like something from a movie. They've also got a wonderful library that is tastefully appointed with many wonderful and interesting different books to read. It definitely invites you to sit down and snuggle by the fire with a good book. Such a cozy feeling! You can also select some candy for a snack. The rooms themselves are also beautiful and the bedding looks nice. Though I will say for me personally the pillows were really uncomfortable, and they had a rough spun duvet which smelled musty on the inside like it hadn't been washed in quite awhile. It looked and smelled like they were washing the sheets and the blanket but not the duvet itself. They also offer breakfast in the morning, but it's a little bit later than some other places so if you have to get an early start, then you probably won't be able to catch it. Overall I really enjoyed the stay and would say this experience is really good for the boutique traveler that is looking for a peaceful, unhurried trip.

At check in, there were absolutely no perks for anyone who booked via Amex Platinum. For a hotel that looks brand new, there was no care done to the build. It's walking distance to the main part of downtown and there is a pizza and a Mexican restaurant across the street. My only real gripe is how hard they're pushing guests to buy their snacks and wine-- the room has not one but two pieces of furniture loaded with premixed cocktails, a bottle of wine, snacks, and bottled mineral water. They don't allow "outside food" in common areas, whose definition was never clear to me- does it include the patios in front of the rooms? So I felt like a criminal bringing in takeout for dinner, but there is no food onnthe premises other than various kinds of overpriced chips and cookies. They don't let you bring outside wine in common areas, either, which might have something to do with licensing or might just be trying to make you buy their wine. So we waited until it was dark and no one was around to enjoy our outside wine on the patio. But we didn't get in trouble so maybe it was ok. They're also really promoting their bath products, for sale in their little gift shop, along with membership in their hotel chain for "rewards." The website says pet friendly and indeed, dogs are allowed in all rooms-- $50 each is a little steep for pet charge though. The website says there's something for pets in the room but there was none in our room, even though we booked in advance. I don't really care that much but if they say it, they should do it. There were also some rich women guests who looked at me like I was a homeless person or space alien, but other guests I met in the breakfast room were normal and friendly. But basically, it's a hotel oriented toward well-off "classy" wine tourists, and if you're not one of those, you might feel a little awkward here. (I did.) But it's a lovely, comfortable little room with charming grounds, probably nice for a romantic getaway without your dogs.

The instructions posted on the wall do not match the buttons on the remote. We ended up doing a web search for the unit's instruction manual. That's pretty sad. These things should be more intuitive. We liked having a fridge and microwave in the room. The downside to our room was that it was on the 2nd floor and we had to carry our things up the stairs since there was no elevator. Do ask for a ground floor if you want to avoid walking up stairs. I became more mindful of these details in recent years when husband suffered from shortness of breath and had a challenging time doing stairs. The property looks nice with several different buildings surrounding a center common grassy lawn area with curved walkways & mini bridge next to their herb garden and koi pond. There are little fish and some ginormous ones in their koi pond. There is also a pool at the rear of the property. It was easy to find parking near our room. The grounds look lovely from your room or from a distance. But we noticed dog poop on the grass when we wanted to walk over to one of the sofas in the grassy area. BE CAREFUL when walking on the grassy parts. People who bring pets here are not mindful about cleaning up after their pets. This is in stark contrast to our stay at Cambria Shores Inn during the previous days (a pet friendly hotel with lots of little dogs staying and no dog poop messes in the outdoor common areas). I guess the pet owners who stay at Cambria Shores Inn are more respectful than the ones who stay here at Paso Robles Inn. Another thing about the outdoor seating is that they look great from a distance, but their uncleanliness can be seen once you walk closer. They were dirty and there was even one set of sofas that had poop on them. It's as if the hotel staff does not go around and wipe the cushions down each day (which I have seen hotel staff do at other hotels and it truly makes a difference). It looks like a nice place to sit & relax outside, but doesn't really work out that way in practice. Hotel is conveniently located near shops & restaurants. The one challenge is crossing Spring St. which is way busier than I ever imagined it to be before booking a room here. LOL The downtown area is pleasant, and you don't need to drive anywhere unless you're visiting a nearby winery.

The vision behind this place is truly inspiring and heartwarming. Built from the ground up around sustainability, human energy, and the balance between light and dark: allegretto, as a name, captures it perfectly. There are structures and masterpieces from six continents woven throughout the grounds, and as you walk through, you feel transported: one moment you're in Europe, the next in India, the next rooted right here in the American West. Astrology, art, intention, and the practice of living in the present moment are threaded through every corner. The wine selection has something for every palate. The tasting room mostly outdoors and so relaxing + beautiful, and the club membership is def worth it! What truly sold me were my wine tour hosts, Rosemary and Ryan. From the moment I walked in, they were warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about this place. The spa was great too! Jackie and Denise were warm and I got an amazing facial. Started the morning with yoga in the chapel, which was serene and restorative in the best possible way. The restaurant, Cello, is also excellent. Renee and Devyn were kind & welcoming. Lisa and Ava at the front desk were gracious and warm every time I crossed their path. Also found the most thoughtful, reasonably priced gifts for my family at the wine tasting room: a rare bonus. Heard they're building a second pool that will include both a family pool and an adults-only pool too. A few small notes I'm sharing in the spirit of the brand itself: not as complaints, but as easy wins for mgmt. For a resort so deeply rooted in sustainability, plastic cups at the water stations felt out of place. Switching to paper would be a simple change with a meaningful impact. Similarly, the mats in the chapel were the Amazon brand, which didn't feel aligned with the intentionality of everything else here. And one logistical thing worth noting: a portion of the grounds was blocked off for a wedding the morning after I checked in (pic included) Had planned to wander early and would have really appreciated a heads up at booking so I could plan accordingly. None of this changes my overall experience or my enthusiasm for this place. Allegretto is one of those rare destinations that if the above aligns with what you enjoy, you will be transported. Check-in, the stay itself, and check-out were all seamless. There's no lobby, which didn't bother me at all. There's a little market walk downstairs with restaurants, though some were closed since we came during the week. But downtown is super walkable, so it wasn't an issue. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely book again when we're in the area. Thanks again to Jill and Emily for making everything so easy!

I took my parents on vacation and booked the two bedroom suite. The room is called the Agave room…read more The rooms are only accessible by stairs so be mindful when booking. It has the best lighting of any place I have ever stayed. Sky lights, tons of windows, great views. So good. Emily and Jill were great about reaching out via call or text. Every morning they'd check in if we needed anything. They do room turn over if requested and everyone who works there is very nice. Tons of parking. Jill and Emily were accommodating even down to asking for ice and have it dropped in the room while we were out. They have insulted ice buckets so the ice lasts a very long time without melting. They don't have ice machines in the room which is slightly an inconvenience but they were able to bring it up during their staff working hours. The sheets were soft and quiet. Some sheets are so rough and loud they wake you up while sleeping but these were so soft. They have a vanity in one room which was nice. The lighting shouldn't be overhead it should be facing the person but since the natural light was so good I just turned my chair so it was fine. The shower has good pressure just gets cold as it is a half glass door. They bring tons of towels and have darker ones specifically for removing make up which is brilliant! They have a tons of fridge space with two side by side mini fridges. They only have a microwave option if you're bringing food. The TV is a smart TV and large wall mounted so you can watch and log in to whatever you want. There is also a TV in each room. They do have a coffee shop downstairs they recommend but it was beyond terrible so I'd suggest anywhere else but that place is not associated with them just close proximity. We were walking distance of the park and center. About 10 to 14 minutes. Tons of restaurant nearby which were super yummy. Uber/lyft were always withing a 5 minute wait. Sensorio is close by and so are so many good wineries. I recommend Cass, Niner, and Eberle. Also only a 40 minute drive to Hearst castle and the elephant seals! Overall I would definitely be back. The service was great, the room was beautiful, super comfortable, and very clean.
