I am really disappointed in this company's poor and questionable business practices. I booked an appointment online, I clicked the additional services that I wanted to add on to my cleaning with the additional costs. I arranged my schedule to be home for the cleaning, and nobody showed up. I called them to check on my appointment, but they did not have a record of my online booking so I rescheduled for the following day. No big deal, it happens. Again, I arranged my schedule to be home for the appointment. When the technician got here, he informed me that there will be additional costs to the quote that the agent on the phone had given me. He starts adding charge after charge after charge for extras. When I made the appointment, I specifically added the extras like pet odor and stain removal online when I clicked on additional services and on the phone with the agent making the new appointment. I was aware the additional services were extra costs for the add ons. I asked if they were included in my quote. I was trying to add all the possible add-ons and extra costs upfront so that the quote would be as close to the actual cost. Basically, anything that might change the quote, I added on myself upfront so I knew the price. She said, yes they were included in the quote. The quote sounded good so I added on an area rug to it. I am not sure why the cost of the add ons changed once the tech got here, and I was told that every extra pillow was an additional cost. The tech told me $15 every extra pillow and only 3 would be included in the quoted price, all the rest would be an extra $15...I asked him to call to check my quote and the boss said $5 an extra pillow. The boss asked if the pillows were really bad and the tech said no, not at all. (Conversation was on speaker phone) Nobody asked or told me about all these extras. It's really shady that each person gives a completely different price. I even tried to remove the rug from the cleaning to take the price down from the new much higher price, but it was still way more than what I had budgeted for. I was not able to negotiate a reasonable deal so I did not use their service. And wasted more valuable time. I have used this company 2-3 x before, and I never had the additional charges. However, I learned that there were add on services the last time my sofa was cleaned so I was trying to cover my bases this time around. Clearly this company does not value loyalty or returning customers. I told all of this to the manager. He said he went back and replayed the phone conversation I had with the customer service agent. He said she told me there could be even more additional charges to the quote. I don't remember that part of the conversation and I certainly never dreamed the sofa pillows were not included or the prices of the add ons would increase. I asked to hear the conversation, but he said that is not possible. He was not interested in trying to resolve this situation at all. We've had them clean our rugs and couches now for 3 years straight and it is amazing what how clean they can get. Additionally, they're usually running a special or discount, pricing is not the cheapest but it's reasonable, it's green and safe for your kids and pets, and the service has been impeccable. Always on time and always done faster than what they've quoted me in terms of how long it will take, and even better - it dries out fast. They even clean our son's area rug which is a shag rug, truly remarkable how fresh and clean that rug is after they're done cleaning it and we've had no issues with losing threads. Their deal has changed, and when they arrived they said that I had booked a sofa only (??) (my receipt said whole house cleaning coupon had been applied, and attached is evidence of the deal!) So we ended up spending $100 more than anticipated based on their unwillingness to honor the deal I had booked. Also, we have a natural fiber rug in our living room that looks worse than before and there is a new musty smell post cleaning in the bedrooms. Absolutely amazing! My dog had a medical issue and left a trail of blood on the carpet in 2 rooms and a hallway. Not having a van hose reaching from the marina dock to my home was much less nerve-wrecking than in previous experiences with other cleaning companies. Lowell showed up timely and was courteous. He did a decent job "refreshing" my wool carpet. He was honest that steam cleaning was the best method for thoroughly cleaning wool carpets. He said the best he could do was brighten my carpet...it would not look brand new, etc. I had already moved all the furniture and made time from work to be home, so I went ahead and let him clean. This is long overdue I had my carpets clean about three months ago Rob was my technician super nice guy comes early or on time I had 3 rooms a hallway and about 15 steps and a few deep stains. He's a hard worker and gets the job done quick. I had a few stains pop back up a few days later I called they said no problem Rob will be at your house the next day is was early and got the stains out. They charged me I think $209 cheaper then most carpet cleaners my last one before rob charged me $320 and I had to help him move his machine around for him I'm like dude I'm paying you. I was going to wait for a month to see if these old "dog pee" stains were going to reappear as they do every time I get the carpets cleaned by the water extraction method, but Lowell was so great to work with and so likeable I'm tending to believe him. As to the process he uses I have to rave...very little water is used, hardly any noise, and best of all you don't have to wait for hours or days for the carpets to dry! Lowell cleaned my area rugs and although it was a little tricky logistically because it was in the middle of my move, it was handled professionally and with courtesy. The rugs probably should have been hand-washed, but I didn't want to spend a fortune on them, and the Oxi cleaning was pretty good. I only hesitate a little because they used my vacuum, which I didn't expect...I thought they would bring their own equipment...and the cleaning really only affected the top surface, not the underside...but it was still a great deal and very good service. read more

I would give zero stars but this process only allows one star! Do not use this service if you want your carpet clean when the technician leaves. The service involves the technician spraying products here and there on problem spots and then he agitates that into the carpet with a motor powered rotary brush device. There is no vacuum removal of of that dirt with that machine or any other machine... just agitation. Once the product is "stirred" up I was told that after the technician left my carpet it would get cleaner and cleaner each time "I" vacuumed it. My carpet still has the same stains and dirt spots and, NO, it got no cleaner after 5 vacuumings. The price was "good", however: only 100 dollars for a little oxyclean spray stuff and two hours of stirring. The product seems to be an attractant for more dirt and I guess I'll have to hire a steam cleaner service. read more
