They have a catalog of over 2,000 unique bourbons from which you may choose and watch the bartender climb the old library style ladder to retrieve it! I'm sure there are many pictures of this online and I apologize for not adding to the multitudes because it really is impressive! I was with a large party and neglected to take pictures because I had such a great time! The food and drinks really deserve to be seen; I apologize for missing that opportunity to show them off. We had out-of-town family visiting and they really enjoyed the experience. The service was exceptional and the food even better. Our experience was all around wonderful and we will be back! The pricing there is on par with the finest restaurants in town and is well worth it. If you're on a tight budget, get a seat at the bar for one drink just for the large catalog of bourbons to browse and the overall bourbon club atmosphere and experience.

Highly recommend - the chicken schnitzel (split), steak tartare, beet salad, and the fried brussels sprouts. Service was terrific, attentive and ready to go the extra mile to make sure you've had a high quality experience to match the food and ambiance. Finally, if you're into it, you cannot go wrong with their house old fashioned. That said, the seasonal Huber's Apple Crusta was a treat yesterday. I ordered one first and the rim tasted like a salty, caramel-ly, sugary slice of apple pie. Not too sweet, just enough. My dinner date ended up ordering another in lieu of dessert.

I decided to order my burger with just onions, mushrooms and asked for bearnaise on the side. Oh my gosh, if heaven had a kitchen it would be at Steak and Bourbon!!! This was hands down the absolute best burger I have had in my entire 55 years!! It was juicy, fresh, full of amazing flavor and the bun had the perfect consistency, not too hard or too soft, it never fell apart! ! The onions I could have eaten by themselves, that's how delicious they were. If you want a regular burger go anywhere else but if you want exceptional and the best burger of your entire life and the most heavenly burger on earth, eat at Steak and Bourbon! It was so amazing I could hardly speak... days later I'm still thinking about it and I'm already planning to go back!! If I could give them 10 stars I absolutely would! OMG! It was outstanding! Our server was so nice and helpful and was just as patient as can be since we had never eaten there. The place was a little dark, as you may tell from the pics, but it was an elegant feel even most were dressed casually. Definitely go back!

They upcycle as many materials as possible and do their best to maintain the unique venues natural magic. And now we are onto the beer. By far, my favorite brewery in Louisville. The tap changes almost daily and there is always something funky about even the most basic beers. I have difficulty drinking more than one beer total a day because of how heavy they can be. However, when consuming high abv beer that is clean and brewed the right way, I am able to drink multiple beers in one sitting. Which, makes it great for the beer lover that I am! what is on tap is always barrel aged and different from their full brewery next door. The bourbon selection is fantastic and we have enjoyed Edward Lee so often that we finished the bottle last night! I guess it is time to start something new!!! Bring your friends or kids. There are games and it is quite literally for all beings. Enjoy! You'll thank me!!!

The beer selection is a little on the heavier side, with quite a few high ABV draft options. What's nice is that you can travel between this location and the original 3rd Turn location, so if someone in your group is looking for a lighter beer they can walk next door where they have 20 different beers are on-tap as well as bourbon slushies. The workers always go above and beyond to make sure their customers are taken care of and are very knowledgeable about the beers and bourbons they serve. They have ample seating inside and out and usually have a food option available on Friday and Saturdays. Check them out on Facebook for more info.

The restaurant serves it with garlic haricot verts but I do not recall making those, however I wish we would have bc they are my favorite! After this I really couldn't wait to see what else they offered. Their menu rotates seasonly so some of these items are not currently available since we were there in the summer however from looking through their instagram I really hope they will be back!! We stoped in on a random Saturday night and was surprised to be able to grab two seats at the bar however there is always so much going on in Louisville in the summer. The bartender was rather busy but he was very friendly and personable throughout our entire experience. We ordered a couple drinks and the Feta and Hot Honey starter. It came with a generous portion of Feta, drizzled with Hot Honey, fresh sliced Jalapeño, prosciutto, and I believe macadamia nuts (not 100% sure) .... SO GOOD!!! My husband ordered the Cheese Tortellini which is fresh pasta, filled with a blend of Wisconsin cheese and herbs, tossed in a mushroom and spinach cream sauce that is finished with pine nuts and basil pesto. He really enjoyed it as I was only able to grab a few bites. It was rich, creamy and delicious. I ordered the Chilean Salmon over broccolini which was topped with cucumber and onion and drizzled with a vinaigrette I believe and this was hands down the best salmon I've ever had. I am extremely picky when it comes to seafood so I do not say that lightly. I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes which I really didn't need and honestly didn't eat much of bc my Salmon was so good. We were too stuffed for dessert but have heard they are pretty famous for their Bourbon's Bread Pudding which is custard soaked bread, bourbon caramel, dried dark cherries soaked in bourbon syrup so I will definitely be trying that next time!

We were seated immediately on their enclosed back porch with a beautiful roaring fire in their corner fireplace. Lovely! Our server was efficient, drinks and complimentary bread and butter were served quickly. I ordered the appetizer Spicy Fried Oysters served over grits as my entree. The 6-7 oysters were fried perfectly crispy, not too spicy, and the creamy parmesan grits were a nice accompaniment. This appetizer really was the right entree portion for me.

First off - I love this local gem, and I think it was just an odd/off night. It started with a scary trip to the ladies room, and it was just a mess. The first part of our evening (meeting friends) was great. Cocktails were tasty and the music was vibing. Fried pickles were AWESOME. At one point, the bartender changed the record and it became crazy loud - we literally couldn't hear the person 2 feet away speaking. A member of our party got up and asked the bartender if he could turn it down (asked politely), and was ignored. Literally ignored - bartender looked at my friend and the just walked away (and not to turn down the music). Next cocktail was AWFUL... food came out, and it was hot but nothing great; fries were oily. Churros were tough and overcooked as well. Our server (a younger woman) was attentive and friendly, and that was the highlight of our visit. She did turn down the music when we asked (and after another table I believe also asked). It wasn't a busy night, and I love the vinyl vibe and cool venue - we will come back and try again, but when 3 cocktails, an appetizer, and entree cost close to $100 before tip (for 2 - our friends were the same, so $200 for a table), you really need to be on point and provide solid service.
