After having my carpets done and getting a quote for my tile, I pulled the trigger and had him come back and do the tile. I couldn't take before and after pics because the floor was wet. But picture Santa Fe dessert sand colored with dirty black grout. When the original grout matched the tile. He told me it wouldn't be perfect, but definitely better. Well he was so wrong, we came back today to find the grout exactly like it looked new. The floor felt amazingly clean with no oils and residue. I 100000% recommend this treatment. We have been using Rob at OxyMagic to clean our carpets at our home and office for over 5 years. Rob is always flexible, professional, punctual and will tell you the truth about what and how something can or can not be cleaned. He does not use a steam cleaner which I prefer. Steam can leave too much water and contribute to mold. His machine is simple, clean and does the job. We have pets and after he cleaned an area where the dogs had peed, doubling over the area to be sure, I was unable to smell the odor any longer. I don't understand the other reviewer who shared that her light colored carpet was not clean because the carpet at our business used to be cream colored and it was always nice and bright after a visit from Rob. I called Oxymagic for an appointment and had no trouble scheduling one. The day before they called to confirm the appointment. On the day of the appointment they arrived as scheduled. After a walk-through to show the rooms that I wanted cleaned the technician unloaded his equipment and went right to work. He moved all the small pieces of furniture in every room to be cleaned and did a very professional rug cleaning job. He got out a couple of stains from the family room carpet and in my son's bedroom he got up much of the grease and dirt stains that were in the carped for many years. All in all I was more than satisfied with the work that was done for the price. I will use Oxymagic when I want my carpets cleaned again. This time I hired Rob for a friend who has over 1200 sq feet of tile in their home. Rob was able to come out within 48 hours and clean the tile. I don't give five stars very often, but Oxymagic gets it in this case. When I emailed for an appointment initially, I was told they were booked up for 2 solid weeks, but that they would let me know if a spot came open. Less than a week later, I got a note back saying there had been a cancellation at a time that would work for us, and Rob showed up 30 minutes before he said he would. Since he was early, he helped move furniture, then went right to work and knocked out three rooms in less than an hour. The carpets look fantastic, and I put a fan on them and they were dry in less than an hour as well. Oxymagic's prices are reasonable enough that I will be asking them back frequently for carpet cleanings whether the floors are stained or not. Again, very impressed with Rob and Oxymagic overall. when I moved into my boyfriends house, it was less than stellar in the clean department - i don't think the carpets had ever been shampooed in the 10 years that he'd been living there- not to throw him under the bus or anything, and in his defense he raised 2 boys, and we all know how grubby boys can be! I had tried to clean the carpets myself with a rental steamer but let's just say the results were not great. I saw the deal for the Oxymagic and had Rob come out the house. It took him just over an hour to do 3 bedrooms, a hall, and the staircase. It was dry in no time, and when I went upstairs to see the results, I literally could not believe my eyes! After receiving a coupon in a ValPak and reading good reviews here, I booked an appt. with Oxymagic Carpet Cleaning, and I was not disappointed. I was given an appt. time between 2-3pm in the afternoon, which was great to have a small window of time and not the 4 hour window that some folks give. The owner called me at about 2:45 to let me know he was running behind and would be just a few minutes late. I appreciated the call and it wasn't a big deal. I don't know that he he ended up being late at all, actually. My carpet is really old and really stained (we're talking 20 years old here), and the owner told me he would do the best he could. He worked on my upstairs bedrooms and hallway for about an hour. He obviously took his time and really tried to do a good job. Was he able to remove all the stains of 20 years of use? No. But I didn't expect that. But I can tell you my carpets look better right now than they have in years. The worn paths are less visible and he was able to completely remove a big circular stain at the top of my stairs from my old dog having bladder issues. I am incredibly pleased with the job he did. Actually, I saw the coupon deal available on here to save $25 and I decided not to buy it but just to pay him the whole price since he did such a good job (which was also very reasonable). I called to set up a appointment and they were very flexible with when they can come out. Rob arrived right on time. I took him through the house to show him some of the stains. I had a mattress in one of the rooms that I wanted moved, but couldn't lift myself. He moved the mattress for me so we could get the whole carpet. The carpet looks great and he was very fast (about a hour for 5 rooms, a hallway and stairs). I've had Oxymagic before and it actually keeps the carpets clean- when I've tried Steam Cleaning businesses the stains seem to reappear once the carpet is dry. Used the Living Social deal. They were very friendly and right on time, carpets looked great, HOWEVER, they said it would take about two hours for the carpet to dry. It took about two days for my carpet to dry. Evidently, the suction on their equipment wasn't working (that's the only thing we could figure had happened). It was very frustrating to not be able to put furniture back for two days and now we have new stains on the carpet that are I guess from walking on wet carpet for two days. Would not recommend, would not use again. Sorry, no matter how friendly you are, quality of work is important and they had to have known something wasn't working right. read more

Rob was on time, made excuses for the type of carpet, and the level of dirt that was on my carpet. Service was quick, however we are very dissatisfied with the results. So unhappy, in fact, that we called another carpet cleaner in and paid an additional $85 to have the job completed corrrectly. I do not think their apparatus does a quality job.
