Would give a 0 star if I could but the bartender was incredibly rude and refused my 26 year old friend her real ID because god forbid she dyes her hair LMFAO. He made her write out her name 3+ times and had multiple other bartenders confirm it was her ID and he still kept grilling her and being incredibly rude. I have lived in this area for 26+ years and he was asking questions that I didn't even know the answer to. Even his coworkers were defending us and apologizing and he continued being aggressive and rude & he kicked us out after we had already provided service. We had come here MANY times before and had a wonderful time but this ruined our experience here and we will not return. Whichever bartender is the sad white guy with the shitty salt & pepper goatee & clearly hated his life and wanted to make it someone elses problem. this definitely ruined the whole experience for us. He deserves to be fired for his rudeness, especially after having two of his coworkers trying to stop him. The younger curly haired man and the woman were incredibly sweet and tried to apologize for his behavior and defend us. I was here a few weeks ago and the most disturbing thing happened. I was in the bathroom when this drunk kid came out of the stall and began punching the paper towel dispenser while yelling and laughing with his friend. I could tell both guys were drunk and it was only a matter of time before something happened. Thankfully, within a few minutes one of security guards walked in. Security looks at the kids (who were still punching the towel dispenser and yelling) and asks "what are you doing pounding on that you're going to break it and I doubt you'll pay us for it." The kid stops, looks at him, proceeds to drop his drink on the ground and say, "whatever get some f****** paper towels then" the security guard told them that it was time for them to leave since they were destroying property and dropping drinks. This was not received and drunk kid #2 stepped up and began punching the towel disorder. Security got both kids out of the bathroom and escorted them to the bar and even got them water. They drank the water but refused to leave. Then it got scary. The two drunk kids began yelling at the security guard saying "you ain't shit but a b**** a**security guard. You're not the police or the owner clock off let's go outside." Security calmly said I will have you removed and the drunk kid then threatened to kill him if he touched him or had him removed. I kept my distance and watched as they all walked outside. I was nervous the security guy was still by himself. I'm not sure exactly went down outside but I saw/heard the owner scream at the security guard to go inside and kept pointing at the door. The owner then starts talking to the kids walks down the street with them and then LETS THEM BACK IN!! They go right back to the bar, order more drinks and continue harassing the same security guard. I honestly don't know how this guy didn't lose it on them. Well that was enough for me and my friends we paid our tab and left. I'm shocked that the owner let drunk 1 and drunk 2 back and into the bar and risked the lives of his employees and guests for a quick dollar. Not to mention undermining his security guard who did a great job. Ozzie's it is not a 5 star dive bar try 1 star smelly swamp pit. These kids lied on their reviews prompting me to write this and tell the full story. Also I have been coming here for years and many of these reviews are about the old security team. I come here nearly every Monday. Dive bar vibes but the food is really great, plenty of options, their daily specials are tasty and killer deals, plus you really can't beat their prices. Game and trivia nights here are fun, the night you go can really determine what crowd you get though. One waitress here is truly terrible at her job, but that's really my only complaint. This place is pretty fun for college people looking for a fun night out. It's kind of like a karaoke bar/club. It is a two-story building, the first floor is where you can find the DJ/dance floor and the second floor is where the karaoke area is. I'm only rating this as three stars because every time I go there, I feel like the bartenders are severely understaffed as you have to wait to grab a drink. Me and my friend stood at the bar for 15 minutes to get our drinks. And it wasn't even that crowded. Overall, the music is a hit or miss. Sometimes they play good stuff other times it's okay. Still a really good place to hang with friends, dance and get a good drink. One thing I love about Ozzies is there Jello syringe shots. This place is amazing! Two stories and Karaoke on both some nights. We came here as it was close to everything. The bartenders are quick and there's plenty on tap. We all got a round of "Duck Farts" which are a quick way to get slammered and have a good time. There's some bizarre lotto game where you tear off sheets of numbers, but looks like a lot of tables were enjoying it. Ozzie's is a delightful bar suitable for everyone. My normal order is tater tots and Long Island iced teas for the karaoke. Food pros: probably the best tater tots on this planet. I get the plain ones. Crispy. Hot. Not over-oily. Generous portions! I once had the boneless wings which were also so delicious! Food cons: I haven't tried enough of the menu to determine cons- since I'm so stuck on the tots! Environmental pros: huge space with second floor. Plenty of space for dancing, dining, and karaoke. He started shouting at me "f me" again I didn't say that but at this point I was so upset I said yeah f you too cuz they refused to stop trying to put words in my mouth i never said. I'll never be back after the disrepesct I received from an employee that lied about me. I don't know if the guy was racist or just drunk. I came here for Burger Week and got a nearly comical monstrosity - a big patty stacked with fried mozzarella and fried mac n cheese - with the total size of the burger being the size of someone's head. Even for someone who loves greasy food, it was a bit much. But the individual components were pretty solid - the patty was juicy, the fried mozzarella was delicious, and the mac and cheese had really good flavor.
