Of course we said no, majority of us was married and actually love our husbands! What got me was one man groped my homegirl and another thought it was cute and okay to grind his private on me! Like yo back up! We don't back down from nothing, we will call you out no matter how loud we get because it was inappropriate to begin with! Instead of security and bartender protecting the women why do they do, kick us out! For what? Standing up to men who think it's okay to grope and grind on women! Let's get one thing straight, we dress up because we want to look good for ourselves, we twerk because it makes us feel good and we dance because we feel free and felt like we deserve to have one night to have fun after a long week of working hard! Might be the rudest staff at any establishment I've ever been to. The guys checking id's at the door must have miserable lives and hate everything about themselves. Employees behind the bar are almost as bad. I am sober and they gave me a water and almost kicked me out because they thought I was too intoxicated even though I was sober. the bouncer kicked me out when I went outside to call an uber. would not let me back inside to grab my husband to let him know where I was and what our plans were. I had a stamp on my arm and was sober. Whoever the bouncer is with the braid needs to chill out and be more understanding. I ended up waiting 20 minutes outside until my husband figured out where I was. had to cancel my uber because my husband couldn't get reception and answer my phone call to figure out where I was. Joe the owner is a great guy and a class act. The lightskin security guy tried to fight me and friend and threatened to beat our ass and told us he was clocking off to do so. Guy asks the owner if he could fight us. Kept telling us to "look him up" as if hes done something with his life. Iv been coming here for a month spending 40 to 120.00$ a time tiping way over 25 % with respect and telling everyone about this place Thursday 27 at 8:45 I was told by this gentleman I was 86 from there over the last incident...well the incident was one shift coming off another me making full contact with the bartender stepping out side for a respectful call came back in and my drink was dumped out .the bartender leaving said ow I'm sorry and she had the other bartender pour me a new one.she was the one that poured it out. So I tabbed out so she could have her tip money in respect. I've been here before but it was usually late night for drinks and karaoke. Always a good time. However, I've been working in the area now for a couple of months and have had the opportunity to try their food for lunch (and once for dinner, prime rib dinner on Friday nights for $11.99!). Delicious. I ordered the peanut butter and jalapeño jam bacon cheeseburger and it's so on point. Big patty, thick bacon and just the right amount of pbj. Service is just a tad slow when it comes to a 30 minute lunch but always friendly and professional. I would recommend Ozzie's for a bite if you're in the neighborhood. When I'm in Seattle, this upscale dive bar always has a great vibe and an amazing beer selection. I wandered in there today and they were promoting their BBQ menu. After a few beers I decided to give it a try. I opted for their 2 piece combo which gives you 2 meat choices from an extensive list (ribs, brisket, pulled pork, 1/2 chicken, sausage and more) that comes with 5 sides. All of that for $16.99 - the food was a solid 7-8 out of 10 but their value was 15 out of 10. Definitely worth a visit and I'll be back! read more

Came here on a whim with a couple of friends who recommended this place and overall, it was a pretty fun experience. Located in Queen Anne, this bar has a little bit of everything. From a small dance floor to entertainment like karaoke/pool table/darts/etc, Ozzie's definitely has something for everyone. With no cover, this was a refreshing place to explore from the usual Caphill/Belltown area. If you want to avoid a line and get good nearby street parking, swing by here around 10-1030pm. Plus, if you need to use the bathrooms before it gets trashed by drunk people, coming early = good idea. For the dance area: it's a decent size. By midnight or so, the floor is super sticky with spilled drinks, so I wouldn't recommend wearing your best shoes here. For the music, it was ok....I heard it can be a hit or miss. For this particular night I went to, the music was a mix of Top 40/some hip hop/EDM: big room house + trap. It would have been better if the music transitions were smoother and that there weren't any repeats. The people: Mannnn, so many pushy people on the dance floor. @__@ It definitely felt like a journey to move from Point A to Point B when the dance floor was mad packed. As for the dress code, just dress whatever you feel like. I notice some people dress pretty nice (club gear) to people in hoodies and sports jerseys. A plus that I really like was the chairs scattered around the dance floor. :) Yay for resting areas~ In summary, if you're in the Queen Anne area, this is a decent spot to stop by if you're in the mood to sing/drink/dance/whatever. I am traveling with my son (16) and I was not sure about bringing him but I read the reviews that they are kid friendly till 9pm and that was true. Our 11.99 steak was good and it came with a huge serving of two sides. The service was better than most "finer" establishments. Morale of the story, don't believe everything you read (or even this if you don't want too), but for 11.99 (for an 8 ounce steak) shut up, eat the steak and enjoy the game on the multiple TVs they offer. **only real complaint the bathroom is gross-I suggest toilet seat covers and people would be less likely to hover the toilet which has lead to pee all over the floor. :) read more

He was candid about the bar when we requested "fancy" drinks/spirits and was great at making conversation. I hate small talk. He was genuinely engaging. This is a dive bar, folks. Ozzie's is a great place to go if you want to hang out with your friends and don't want to spend too much on food. They have specials and Happy Hour everyday so there is something for everyone! I've only been there on Wednesdays for their $10 steak specials and boy, is it amazing. You get potatoes (cooked to your liking) and veggies with your steak. It is well grilled and made to my liking of medium rare. It is more than enough food for one person. I have nothing to complain about their $10 Steak Special, it is the best I've ever had for that price. Our table also got the Pizza Tots and that was also amazing! Imagine a pizza but the crust/breading is tater tots....AMAZING. There are also a lot of fun events happening everyday like Trivia and Karaoke so it is definitely a fun place to be. read more

The reason for 4 stars is because I've been in once during dinner time and the service was absolutely horrible. The manager on shift handled it well, but because of that I can't give 5 stars. There are 2 karaoke spots and a dance floor, so if you're anywhere in the middle of the bar, you get to listen to at least 2 competing musical choices. It's kind of a mess. I suspect it's better during the week, when it's not packed with fresh college grads covered in beads and shamrocks, but really not my weekend scene. Nothing like getting tanked up at The Streamline next door and shuffling into Ozzie's, walking around with a tallboy and watching the downfall of humanity get wildly loaded and grope each other. Dinner and karaoke and drinks and a friends birthday... all good things, right? Well... they can be. Breakdown: 4 stars for bartender, 3 for food, 3 for karaoke, 3 for mixed drinks, 2 for general feel of place, 0/5 for waitress. The first experience was the food. The burgers weren't that great (but okay, I guess) and I went with the cup of veggie soup as my side. Nothing too amazing, but it was definitely edible and not too bad for $6-7 per serving (of burger+side). The service. HAH! The bartender was great, but the waitress came up to our table MAYBE twice the whole time.... and one of those was when we were getting up and ready to leave. I was a little bummed about the mixed drinks. I had something delicious that involved Hypnotiq+Malibu Rum+7up+sour and then a Vodka Cran and... well... I felt nothing. The appetizing cocktails went for $7 each, so... I decided I'd rather stop there than spend way too much money on apparently weak drinks. The karaoke was pretty entertaining and enough people were good. We were just a little annoyed at times because it seemed to take forEVER for some of our group to get called while others were going up rather frequently (and/or shortly after grabbing a table). I've been to Ozzie's several times lately. Usually I'm there with friends on Wednesday nights at 7 for Geeks Who Drink trivia. If you're playing, they keep the Happy Hour running all night. The cheeseburger is the best value by far. I've never really had a bad time here. It's a solid bar. A mixed crowd of people so you never feel out of place. Nice big selection of beer. Drinks are usually stiff. The place can get busy but it's big enough that I've never had to really wait for service or felt crowded. The place could use a good scrubbing. They've been fixing up parts of the bar the last year or so. The upstairs and men's room have been redone. read more

They have some of the best burgers in town. Amazing ambiance and great food. They do have grilled chicken burgers, which I don't think features in the menu but they taste too good.
