We had a good experience here! The bartenders were very friendly and welcoming. The back bar has a really pretty view of the sound and they were streaming Coachella on the tv and speakers which was pretty cool too. They don't have a cocktail menu which threw us off a bit because we aren't very creative that way lol. But we got G&Ts and they were well made and very generous portions. Overall this place is a great spot to chill or hang out with some friends. When you walk in there is a bar area with a larger dining area in the back. The service is okay. For the food, it was all good. The burger was cooked perfectly and the Salmon tasted great. For the drinks, there is no cocktail menu so the bartender will make you whatever. read more

First time visiting Seattle and my friends and I decided to enter this cute, quaint establishment in walking distance of Pike's Peak on NYE '19. Since it was cold and raining, we had purchased some lattes next door to the OG Starbucks since the line was so long. When we entered the bar two of my friends still had a bit of their coffee left. This is where things went south. The bartender was rude af and approached our table with "are you going to finish that or am I throwing it away?" I understand the no outside food or drink rule - however, the way he went about informing us was uncalled for. I know downtown Seattle can be a frustrating place to be in the service industry with all the tourists, but I cannot believe how incredibly rude the bartender was. I am not of the opinion that all service industry folks need to be "on" and over the top all the time-and I've bartended and barista-ed for year, but I do think employees should treat customers with basic human decency, especially when the customers are in no way rude or even demanding! read more

The vibe was good and the staff friendly. They have a variety of seating from up at the bar, tables then a comfy couch set up. That's in the front. The back area (which was closed) had an amazing view of the sound, ferry boats, etc. Why 2 stars? Well, we were overcharged (didn't get a written ticket or tab). Two beers and one order of loaded baked potatoe tots was $25. First, the portion size of the tots were small for the price ($9). The flavor was good but the size and small square bowl used made it hard to get the tots out of the dish. When we were done we asked for the bill. The bartender stopped and thought about it for a few seconds after i told her what we had ordered then she said, $25 without handing us any actual paper bill / tab. At first i didn't think much about it (until i did) and began to wonder how much the tap beers were if the tots were $9. So we asked for the menu and questioned the bill. The bartender said she must have pushed a wrong button on the register to get that price. Not! I was given the price before any buttons got pushed! She agreed to give us a another beer on tap at no charge to make up the difference which was nice. I would be weary to come back based on the sketchy pricing, no actual bill, and excuse given when it was brought up. It would be hard-pressed to believe this doesn't happen more often. So if you go make sure you check your bill closely (if you actually get one). read more

Not sure if he is the owner, but somebody who works here is one of the rudest individuals I have had the displeasure of encountering. Walked into the bar and he aggressively asks where we are going, gesturing with his finger to come towards him and demanding our ID'S. Not an unreasonable request but his demeanor was unnecessarily rude and threatening. I suggested lightly that he ask more politely next time and he proceeded to yell at me in front of his customers telling me not to dare speak to him in his bar. Man, if I could leave zero stars, I would. The drinks were awful. We both ordered margaritas, which were made by smashing half a cup of ice and a bunch of lime wedges. Nothing like a pulp slushy for $12. The bartender was friendly to us, but pretty rude to other customers. At one point she told a customer, "whatever you're saying I don't care, I'm too f*****g busy to even pretend to care about what you're saying." She also complained about having to serve the patio. It never ceases to amaze me how people can complain about having to do the job they signed up for. The bathrooms are filled with flies and remind me of a college bar. For a place with so many good reviews, there are very few customers ever. The bartenders have the personality of a dead fish. What used to be a gay bar for literally decades albeit at a different location, this place isn't even remotely gay. Where there used to be half a dozen gay bars downtown in the 80's and 90's, this was the last one. There are now none. They have gone out of their way to scrub any remnants that this was once gay. You will find more rainbow flags outside churches than you will here. There are none. Sad read more
