Came to P Dubs Grill for Sunday breakfast. I gave this Restuarant three stars because of the menus and the waitress's attire...I would have given it lower stars if it wasn't for how friendly and attentive the waitress was. When we were given our menus on clip boards one of the menus had food splattered all over it. The waitresses apron and zipped up hoodie was stained with grease and extremely dirty. Both of these views made me weary and concerned that the food was going to have a hair in it or the plates would be dirty. The food was ok and the plates were clean. The waitress was very friendly, attentive and quick to refill our drinks. I appreciated her friendly demeanor and attentiveness to serving. read more

The people there were incredibly nice! The atmosphere and the food were awesome! My only complaint was that my 11-year-old daughter got the Macs and cheese, and didn't like it. Although they did offer to switch it out, nothing else appealed to her. She didn't eat any of it, and they still charged us for it. In addition, she didn't want french fries, so they gave her mashed potatoes instead, but charged us an extra three dollars. Out in the middle of nowhere, but tasty! Seeing that I live in Bear Valley Springs, Stallion Springs is closer for me then most. This was a breath of fresh air for Tehachapi area dining. Had me a burger, fries, and light beer. The perfect test. The burger was surprisingly good. It was the standard tavern style, but good flavor. On my personal burger scale I give it a 6.5 out of 10 (I am pretty harsh on burgers). Fries were good and seasoned, the Coors light was, well... Coors light. The wife and kids enjoyed their food as well. Service was good, and the waitress was nice. The place was clean. I will go again, and I would say it was a worth the drive for us, seeing that you really can find a place with good pub style food around here. read more

I was visiting from out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday and came here on a Friday night. The place was packed but it didn't slow down their friendly service. I ordered the prime rib which was a special they had for the night. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great; probably one of the biggest cuts I have ever had. With a baked potato, salad, and vegetables for $24.95 it was a great deal. As always, I will definitely be back next time I'm in town. read more

My wife and I are here for a week, staying in Stallion Springs Resort, in a suburb of Tehachapi, Ca. I rely on Yelp for reviews of restaurants heavily unless I'm set on a chain which is rare. I'm a tried and true supporter of small business for the unique purchases I make. Folks, people of Tehachapi, you have a true gem in P-Dubs. It's down to earth, decent prices, and real food. It's price code is 2$, but the breakfast fare is undervalued. It rocks! If you are thinking chain restaurant for a cheap meal, that's what you'll get. If you want breakfast, P-dubs is awesome. We had lunch to go today. Again, reasonable. I wasn't too impressed with the blackened pastrami and coleslaw(which is claimed made in house) was blase'. The Turkey club was well made, using real Turkey. I rarely see that. Kudos! They have a full bar and 6-7 beers on tap. read more

The hotel we were staying did not have CBS in HD, so I looked for a nearby sports bar with NFL Sunday ticket. P Dubs came thru. Best DANG Pizzia......They only serve Pizzia twice a week but Dang its the best!!!!! Each Pizzia is made to order,and If you don't want to try the pizzia, the menu is full of great food. P Dubs fell short of a recommendation from a friend. I was unimpressed from virtually every facet of this establishment from the second we walked in. The diet soda and regular soda had no carbonation and tasted terrible. Manager could not fix this. The chicken wings were above average. Just had the new Harris Ranch Rib Eye and it was delicious, came with fresh green beans and we chose the garlic mashed. Excellent, food, Others in the party had the blt with it's 8 pieces of bacon and hand cut fries. Pulled pork sandwich with red claw on top, so yummy I want more and more and more. We went to Tehachapi this past weekend for a gymnastics tournament at Woodward West. We're from the greater Los Angeles area, where there's a restaurant on every corner. We were worried about what we'd do for food while we were up there because it is just more rural(which is not a bad thing). We were extremely pleasantly surprised to find P-Dubs!!! The food was MARVELOUS, from the cheesy tots, onion rings, and parmesan fries all the way to the Rib-Eye and Black n Bleu burger....YUM! My absolute FAV though was the Creamy Kale and Italian Sausage soup! The owners are SUPER friendly, the waitresses were all very nice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because my cocktail(I ordered a Grey Goose & Lemonade) seemed to be missing the Goose.....it was extremely light. Otherwise, I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My husband and I live close by and are so happy to have a place to eat within such a short distance of our home. We honestly dine here about once a week. My husband ALWAYS gets the El Diablo Burger which is spicy and is a nice size and I have tried a ton things but would have to say my favorites are the Pulled Pork Sliders but I order a side of bbq sauce & something I just newly tried, the Cobb Salad (awesome)!! The spinach artichoke pot stickers are a really good appetizer along with their garlic cheese fries. The owners along with the staff are beyond friendly. On vacation in this beautiful area and had lunch here per recommendation of the nice lady who works at a clothing boutique in downtown Tehachapi - the food was surprisingly tasty, thanks! This is a simple but cool local diner/sports bar with friendly and timely service. Came in for lunch and had a hamburger w/ cheese special with a drink and tots, $9. Wasn't expecting much but it was actually VERY good - could see the grill marks on the patty and taste the char in every bite. Really nice bun - soft and chewy. Love that they have an option for tater tots though they were a little over done. Also ordered the PB and chocolate banana cream pie, $4.95. 2 layers of dense banana cream, chocolate and PB mixture in center, set in a graham crust shell. Yummy! Stallion Springs is such a lovely getaway from the traffic, noise, and smog of LA. and now I found a new eatery to visit when I come back.
