It's been awhile since visiting P.F. Chang's. This visit was so delicious, I think it will become a weekly ritual. We began with a shared appetizer of lettuce wraps. Definitely a portion big enough for a meal. We then enjoyed the dragon roll and ended the evening with the Mongolian beef. The only change I wished for is less green onion in the beef. This place was not real busy during the week. Our waiter was ok. He was very quiet and got us everything. Our hostess gave our party only one menu which was odd and we shared it for the table. She must have forgot to get more. Quality of items and furniture was high, place looked nice and clean. Bathroom was surprisingly small. The Mongolian beef was good. We had two chicken dishes that were not fried all the way and mushy. Luckily the chicken was precooked or we might have been sick. They changed their menu since last time I was here and I was pretty disappointed that one of my favorites was gone. Drinks were pretty good. Soup was pretty sad. Overall the food seemed lower quality than my last visit a few years ago. It seems like some of the food is frozen pre made. I have a small non-chain Asian place that I go to sometimes and I think I'll go there from now for my Asian food fix because I think the quality is way better than P.F. Chang's. I recently went to P.F. Changs with my family for dinner after a long day of moving. We tried to go to another restaurant in the area but the wait was over an hour and a half. Luckily P.F. Changs had a table for my family. They promptly sat us down and are enforcing social distancing and masks guidance. They provided paper menus and were very quick with service. Our server Julian was very kind and answered all of our questions patiently as we were a large group. We got several drinks and plates for the table. I have enjoyed take out from this P.F.Chang's location several times over a couple of years. However my last two takeouts especially the last on Monday was very disappointing. The sweet and sour chicken was fatty and greasy with a sauce that must have been days old. The white rice was warm but hard, another indicator of not fresh food. The dry rub ribs were lacking taste and meat. The only item up to par was the delicious wonton soup. When I received my take out order I noticed that there were two fortune cookies in the bag. I mentioned to the desk that I really liked fortune cookies and she stated no problem and placed one more in the bag. Wow. $57 later and I wished I would have eaten anywhere else. Me and my family have been here so many times and not once had we have THE GREATEST WAITRESS EVER Muffin! She was so caring she made conversation with us, and even shared a little bit about her family! She shared that she was the waitress that never misses her shifts, she always has the most tables, and there's customers that wait for her just to get waited by her! That's so cool! Chang's has made it very convenient for you to place an order and pick up your food or they will bring it out to your car. I was so excited to learn a P.F. Chang's was coming to the Westfield Brandin Mall. It's finally open and I had the opportunity to dine there for lunch today. I started off with the Red Sangria. The alcohol was a bit strong for me. It was not the best Sangria I've ever had but it was not the worst. It was not too sweet but it did have some flavor. My entree was what I love. The lobster and shrimp fried rice and the spicy chicken. It was so good! Did I say it was so good?!?!? I always enjoy these two dishes and today did not disappoint. There were lots of shrimp and lobster bite size pieces in the rice. You can eat that along as a meal. My meal climaxed with the banana spring rolls dessert with vanilla ice cream. It was drizzled with caramel and had some coconut and pineapple shavings. I was pleasantly surprised at how great it tasted. I didn't know P.F. Chang's also offered great tasting desserts. So my husband and I sat at the "community seating table" which was completely empty and first come first serve. Several and I do mean several servers whisked by us, going to the bar, yet no one stopped to greet us or take our drink orders. Were they busy, sure it's Saturday night, but they weren't packed. As I said the table that seats 8 was completely empty as well as a few surrounding booths . After 10 minutes my husband and I got up to seek out a manager to let him know what's going on. He apologized for the "coach-able moment" and offered to take care of us personally. Even with that we couldn't stay.... why.... my plate was greasy with food bits still on it, my fork had food on it, and my glass was dirty as well! We had a very nice lunch at this new location in Westfield Mall. I've always liked the one at Westshore Mall, and was happy to hear that they were opening up a new location in Brandon. I think the only difference between the two may be that this location is much noisier. It's kind of difficult to carry on a conversation. Other than that, it was a very nice atmosphere (maybe a little smaller than most P.F. Chang restaurants). We had the Lobster Avocado Roll as an appetizer. I would definitely order this again as a main course. It was delicious! I loved the aioli as well. It was light & fresh. So, how do I know it's fresh? Well, it kind of showed up at our table after we got the main meal. Everyone was apologetic about that. Fortunately, our wonderful server explained that it takes longer to make the roll. By that point, it didn't matter. I was very impressed with the flavor and freshness of the roll. Nothing mattered after that. My mother had the Sweet & Sour Shrimp. The classic lunch menu only shows Sweet & Sour Chicken, but you can substitute the protein. I believe it's an extra charge. I had the Orange Peel Chicken. Both entrées were very good. I also liked the brown rice. It totally satisfied our craving for Chinese food. The biggest surprise was that we didn't get to pay for any of it. Our server told us that someone paid for our meal. This location of PF Changs is brand new. It just opened at the Westfield Mall in Brandon a few months ago. The decor is contemporary, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. There Is both indoor and outdoor seating. The large bar was designed for both as well. Very unique design. The food was very good and tasted the same as other locations I have been to. Our server Cera, was friendly and very attentive. We ordered pork egg rolls and pan fried dumplings. Both were very good. The entrees we tried were Changs spicy chicken, Mongolian beef, and the combination fried rice. Each were very good as well. The restaurant is located at the entrance to the mall which is what I call restaurant row. Parking can be difficult on the weekends, when both the mall and the restaurants are busy. My only disappointment is the place is noisy. I believe it is the way it was designed. I will try the outside seating next visit. read more

Not impressed...nothing to run and tell your friends about. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. He did a good job keeping our water glasses full and checking on us throughout our meal. The food was OK. We had chicken egg rolls with sweet and sour mustard sauce which was our favorite dish. My entree was Chicken Pad Thai. My problem with the dish is the chicken! I had to ask my husband was it real chicken because it was gross. I ate around it but still..FAIL. My husband had spicy chicken and steam white rice for his entree. We made reservations for 19 people on a Sunday brunch time and our table was ready as soon as we arrived. Our servers were great and attentive. Food arrived very quickly and served hot. Noisiest restaurant ever! It's unbelievable how loud this place is - we couldn't hear the server, the server couldn't hear us, and we definitely couldn't have a conversation at our table. (The server said she has a headache every night when she leaves because of the cacophony, and said she loves it when she's assigned the outside tables because it's so much quieter out there!) Ugh. Ordered takeout last night, my first time ordering from P.F. Chang's and I was super disappointed with the quality. I've been craving Chinese food for awhile and decided to spend a little extra for what I assumed would be higher quality Chinese food at P.F.Chang's. For $20 I ordered orange chicken (with extra chicken) and fried rice, nothing more. The chicken was soggy and very doughy with little flavor. The texture made it very unappetizing and hard to eat. The rice had little to nothing else in it other than bland, flavorless rice and in all the meal looked and tasted like a $5 entree you would get at a cheap side of the road Chinese restaurant. Definitely will be going to Panda Express next time I'm craving Chinese. The quality there was much better and half the price. Hopefully P.F. I hadn't been to P.F Chang's in years as the closest to me is 45min away but had the chance to visit the one at the Brandon Town Centre a few weeks ago. The atmosphere was pleasant as always. Cool and a little dark which was nice on a hot afternoon. My boyfriend and I got there fairly early, before 6pm so seating wasn't an issue. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. We ordered two appetizers, and looking back those were the highlight food-wise. We had an order of the Handmade Dumplings with Pork, pan fried, and an order of Hand Folded Crab Wontons. The dumplings were as good as I remember. The wontons were also great. Crispy and with a decent amount of filling. The entrees weren't quite as successful. I ordered the Korean Glass Noodles, a sweet potato glass noodle dish with chicken. The menu indicated it was "spicy" which I confirmed with our server it wasn't that hot. He was correct as it wasn't spicy. At all. There wasn't a hint of heat. There wasn't a lot of chicken either. A few decent size pieces and then not much but tiny pieces. My date got the Salt & Pepper Prawns which he said weren't particularly salty or peppery. Just okay. Maybe we ordered wrong and should have chosen something else for our entrees. Given it's not the cheapest place to dine I was a little disappointed given my super fond memories of their food. Wouldn't mind going back but at the distance wouldn't make a special trip. read more

Brandon does not do their best in social distancing for tables but they will move you if you request a little distance. Servers wear masks. Okay it's a Sunday night fine...but the food was disgusting I didn't even mention it to my server bc she was so worried about those drinks the whole time the chicken lettuce wraps were our savior but everything else was soggy and lack luster I even said ew out loud when tasting the fried rice....she should have at least comped the drinks that took 30 min and I'm not exaggerating. When we walked in there was a manager and a hostess. The hostess was checking someone out and the manager didn't even acknowledge us which I found to be quite rude. We were sat and after the waiters discussed who would serve us over came one. We placed our drink orders ( hot tea and coke) and appetizers egg rolls and dumplings. 10 minutes later we got drinks then 10 more minutes we got cold dumplings and burnt egg rolls. It was sad because the manager delivered them to our table, did he not see how over cooked and grease soaked the egg rolls were. So we ordered dinner Mongolian beef and sesame chicken with fried rice. The beef was like beef jerky very tough hard to chew and the plate was covered in green onion pieces about 3 inches long. More onion than beef for $24. The chicken was better texture the fried rice looked and tasted like someone just pour sour sauce on it and threw a couple of carrots and onions and called it fried for a $5 uncharge. At this point I'm sure the store bought PF Changes is a better choice. Slow service and horrible food along with 90s techno music played in a 3 song loop. Don't waste your time or money. read more
