Disappointing visit tonight. We made reservations for 8:15pm and weren't seated till 8:50pm. Server couldn't figure out which table was ours and where to seat us. Very crowded and very unorganized. Order was taken after about 10 minutes and food took another 20 minutes. The portions here are much smaller than any other PF Changs we have visited. We had no cashews in our Kung Pao chicken (we didn't ask for this to be removed). Also, kids meal portion was much, much smaller than another other PF Changs we have visited. This was my first time trying this high-end Chinese food, and I was not impressed. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps. There was little to no chicken all vegetables. I also ordered the beef and broccoli. The beef was tender with great flavor. I didn't care for the rice straws that were put on the plat as a garnish. My server was very kind and attentive. First time visiting this Brandon establishment. Very nicely appointed place and very clean. Great ambiance. We've alway loved PF Changs, but always went to the one in Tampa. We were happy to have one closer to home. We started with the lettuce wraps, one of my faves. Sorry to see they changed the lettuce from Romaine to iceberg, but it didn't stop us from digging in. They were good, not great by any means. Much better at the Tampa location. My entree was the Mongolian Beef and Hubs got the Pepper Steak. They looked beautiful when delivered to our table, but beauty is only skin deep. My Mongolian Beef was terrible. No flavor whatsoever! The beef was tough and very chewy. The green onion way too wilted. Portion was quite small. We both got white rice with our meal, and white rice is white rice, so no complaints there. What a disappointment. Our waiter never even asked us how our meal was. Never asked if we wanted dessert.'(he spent a lot of time talking to people at another table) Then came the bill. OMG, I almost choked! $73 without tip! What? Ok, I admit I didn't look at prices, we already knew what we were going to order before we got there. First, I have to say the service with John was wonderful! He did everything he could (with a great attitude) to accommodate us through all of the errors that we found in the food and drink. Problems started when I ordered a sparkling rosé. The drink had no bubbles in it. It was flat like any other wine. It must've been opened a day or two before. John was very nice and switched it out for a different sparkling wine, which was great. We ordered the crab raccoons, which had an odd flavor to them. The oil must've been used to cook something else. We also ordered chicken lettuce wraps, which actually were very good. We then ordered Mongolian beef and honey garlic chicken. Both dishes were extremely dry. The chicken was not hot and very dry. We asked for some additional sauce to try to moisten it and the saucetasted off. The Mongolian beef was like beef jerky. It was cold and so dry. It was a shame because the flavor was good, but the beef itself was inedible. We mentioned all of this to John and he did compensate us on the bill with a discount and a free piece of cake. But that's not what we came for. Our first visit to this establishment and we loved it We went at 8:30 - 9:00pm and we sat at the high top tables. It was so cozy and the lighting was great. The bar tender was so amazing with suggestions for the new "PF Chang" beer brew. Hubby tasted it and was enjoying that one!!!! The food was so well presented, fast delivery to us, and didn't want to leave anything on our plates but it was so good! We took our food to go! Sesame chicken w/broccoli to die for and had real chicken substance and you get juicy pieces!!!! The spring rolls were so great!!!! Highly recommend those! The dip sauce is awesome . First off I avoid malls. As in I haven't been to Brandon mall in probably 8 years. But today i needed to go and when I saw they had a PF Changs, oh was I excited!!! They did not disappoint! Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts was awesome! But I can't decide which is better theirs off Cheesecakes. Idk, who ever thought anyone could make Brussell Sprouts a dish to crave?? Next up was my traditional fav Crab Rangoon. They call it something different but whatever the name, so yum!!! I was good and only ate 2, but then I got home and ate the other 4. I just couldn't leave them till the next day they were so delicious. And finally the Orange Chicken. Did not disappoint. Although for my personal preference, and this is just me, I'm going to order sauce on the side so the chicken stays crunchy even when it's next days leftovers. Again, just my weirdness. I'm the same with hot wings. The server, ugh could not remember his name for anything, was genuinely cool. And the hostess was awesome. So happy this place is local now. Will def return. I may be bias but I love PF Chang's! Decided to try out the new Brandon location since co-workers were taking me out for a birthday lunch. We got the shrimp appetizer along with the tempura green beans and must I say that these things were so wonderfully delicious! I got the beef bowl lunch menu with fried rice and there was not a moment more perfect than that. It was delicious and absolutely would return! Not to mention, it's right by the mall so you can get shopping done after or before you eat. Best to come before 11:30am when the lunch crowd comes in. You won't regret it! PS. This is my son's new favorite place to eat, now that his favorite spot closed. I actually prefer it over his former favorite, so yay for me! He is a fan of the fried rice, with chicken, and the low mein noodles, also with chicken. The low mein is delish! I love the crispy honey chicken with fried rice...even though it's really not that crispy, and it doesn't really taste like honey. It's more tangy than anything. What happened to P.F. Changs? I remember visiting in NY and the place was awesome. Fresh food, fast service, really delicious. I visited the Brandon location on Friday with some co-workers for lunch. We arrived pretty early, around 11:15 am and the place was understandably empty. The greeter was very attentive and sat us right away. The waiter came by fairly quickly and answered the few questions we had about the menu and took our drink orders. Diet Coke for me, water for one co-worker and a ginger beer for the 2nd. My soda was flat but drinkable. The ginger beer was not to my co-worker's liking and when the waiter asked if we wanted refills she asked for a diet coke. It should have been a clue for him to ask if there was a problem, but he didn't. The lunch menu consists of a few bowls and one of the questions asked was whter we could add vegetables to one of the listed bowls. The waiter said you can add as many different veggies as you wanted, all for free. That sounded great, so we added mushrooms (they have 3 kinds), carrots, cucumber, peppers, and broccoli to the Korean Bibimap bowl. He immediately proceeded to tell us there was an upcharge for the peppers. So much for the FREE veggies. I ordered the Monglian Beef Bowl and hot and sour soup. The soup came out and it looked like it was driven over in a car that went over 10-speed bumps. There was soup dripping down the sides of the bowl, it was a mess. I can't honestly believe that the cook let it leave the kitchen like that and that the waiter served it as such. It was so unappealing. Good thing the flavor was decent. When my Beef Bowl arrived, the waiter brought it over with his thumb firmly planted inside the bowl touching the rice. How nasty is that? How does a server think that is ok? The Mongolian beef bowl was filled with rice, was very light on the sauce, barely any pieces of beef, and about 8 pounds of scallions just dumped on top. It looked like a 3rd grader put it together. On top of that, it had literally no taste at all. I ended up eating the bibimbap as it at least had some flavor. When the bill came, we were charged for every single extra vegetable we added to the Bibimap for a total of $4 over the already overpriced $12 bowl. I really loved PF Chang's but this location is hit or miss . The egg drop soup broth is always really light and loose ...It's never thick never yellow. The fried rice and lo mien are also a gamble. Pf changs has always been a safe go to for a delicious bite dine In or take out but they're slipping . Service and ambiance is always good . I ate lunch here today while at the mall. I hadn't been to a PF Chang in a long while. But it sounded good and me and my family all agreed on this. The service was very good while dinning here. I do like the fact that they offer Lunch portions. I usually don't eat a large lunch and even the lunch portion was very generous. I got the kung pao chicken. I like any spicy items and this one is moderately hot with hot peepers in it for the heat factor. I also got e fried rice too. It's nice though that you can get brown rice as well if you want it. The food came out fairly quickly and tasted great. We also had some steamed edame which was ok but not as salty as I like. The iced tea was very good as well. An Uber Eats order from this PF Changs may have been the worst we've every had: 1) Took the restaurant 1 1/2 hours to make the easy order, resulting in one driver giving up. 2) all of the food was cold 3) Forgot the salad dressing for 2 salads 4) The food was marginal and definitely nothing special. My advice, if you're just dying for some PF Changs such that this review doesn't stop you, just go to Publix and grab some bags of frozen PF Changs. At least you'll get hot food. read more

Leaving a jam-packed table uncleared while guests linger a host struggles with the "check" to find space to write is not 5-star service. Update March 10, 2019. Food is excellent, service is still very weak. Tables remain dirty and cluttered after guests leave; server slow to greet us on arrival and disappears throughout most of the meal. Update May 12, 2019. Decided to try takeout to avoid the Mother's Day chaos in the better restaurants. It turned out great walking past the line at the door to fetch my four dinners. Everything was warm, packaged nicely, and on time! Everyone was pleased with their wonderful meals served in a comfortable home environment. A great change of pace. However, the computer wizards need to perform some magic to improve their new, clunky iPhone app through solo Express, apparently not legitimately on the App Store but Chang's refers to it and endorsed it on their website. USE OF OLO EXPRESS RESULTED IN A LOSS OF MY REWARD POINTS FOR A LARGE PURCHASE. The store would not honor my receipt for points a day or so late. Moving from entry to entry in this app was extremely slow, and some buttons only worked when coaxed numerous times. Went to P. F. Chang's for Chinese New Year. There was a line out the door when we arrived at 6pm. We were actually early for a 6:30 reservation we had. We checked in and were early so we didn't mind waiting. After our reservation time came & went we went up to the hostess and inquired how much longer. I noticed they seemed a little frazzled and it seemed like there was lots of empty tables! After inquiring we were seated right away. Upon being seated our server Benjamin immediately came to our table and he was great. Benjamin was probably one of the best servers we've had the pleasure of having. He even thought to bring a cup full of ice for the iced tea. This is something we would normally ask for. The extra ice he brought with the drinks was really thoughtful on his part. The refills were brought to us right away and the food came out promptly! Nothing bothers me more than eating and having to wait on a drink. Benjamin was on point! I highly recommend you request him for your server if you go to the Brandon location. The only problem was, I think the restaurant was understaffed. I counted 9 empty tables just in my immediate area. Some needed to be cleaned off and others were clean. This was at the height of the dinner rush and it was Chinese New Year. Also, P.F. Chang's sent a coupon out for buy one/get one which was only good for yesterday. Why would you send a coupon that's only good on Chinese New Year and be so understaffed?? There was a line out the door when we left as well! Even tho our server was amazing and the food was delicious some stars were lost due to the long wait and long lines out the door with so many tables sitting empty! I've been to P.F. Chang's too many times to count at many different locations. When this location opened we were thrilled! It's definitely a restaurant we enjoy going to. I requested a booth and we were seated immediately. We immediately noticed how LOUD and ECHOEY it was. It was difficult to have a conversation with someone right across from you. The restaurant is very modern and open with high ceilings. There is also a outdoor seating area and a bar that on one side is outdoors and the other side is indoors. This particular location seems much smaller than any other P.F. Chang's that I've been to. Parking is ok, this part of the mall is also where all the restaurants are located and it gets very busy. Depending on how busy the mall is will depend how easy you are able to park. After the waitress took our order we asked her to bring us some Crispy Noodles with duck sauce (she called it sweet & sour sauce ) to pick on while we wait. ***A little secret, you have to ask for this and it's free! They will never bring these noodles & duck sauce unless you specifically ask for it! I'm not sure why they don't just put it on the table. For dinner We ordered egg rolls, dumplings, Chang's Spicy Chicken, Mongolian Beef and Shrimp Fried Rice. I have to honestly say everything was delicious, cooked perfectly and just as good as any other P.F. Chang's we've been to. We even had leftovers for lunAfter reading previous reviews I'm not sure if we just got lucky or if they got their act together. Our server was Cera she was good taking our order but she never refilled our drinks! This is a big pet peeve of mine when dining out. There is nothing worse than eating and not having a drink. We shared the yummy lettuce wraps, a Dragon roll and Mongolian Beef. I would have to say the flavors were just as good as I remember. I decided to invite my mom to dinner on 4/2 as I was CRAVING a wonton soup, we arrived and our server Kristina (I believe that was her name) was AMAZING!! Unfortunately the soup was extremely salty, we told our server and she went to try the second batch and told us it was salty as well so she took it out of our check. For the entree we both had Mongolian Beef and let me tell you again, it was soooo salty, but we already felt bad we had told our server our soup was salty and didn't wanted her to think we were lying or anything. We ended up eating it because we were starving. I ended up paying $76 for food we did not enjoy. Definitely not coming back again. THIS IS A REVIEW SPECIFIC TO UBER EATS DELIVERY OF P.F. CHANG'S FOOD; I ordered and had the food delivered within a half an hour so the delivery wasn't the issue, it was the food. The white rice was clumpy and crunchy. The lo-mein was gummy, bland, and tasteless. The veggies were so obviously microwaved because they were just wet and falling apart. Nothing I ordered tasted like it had ever seen a wok. I feel it's pretty disingenuous to serve subpar food via the Uber app when the customer obviously is paying a higher price for the same product they would expect in the dining room. And if that is what is served in the dining room, yuck. read more
