Don't eat here if you're in a hurry. What a painstaking experience from the very beginning. we walked in we were greeted by an exasperated young hostess who literally rolled her eyes and sighed when we asked for a table for a party of 4. The place wasn't busy. My husband immediately shot me a look like he was ready to turn around and walk out. I wish we had. We were then lead to table and seated with in just a few minutes by another server who sat us without menus or a QR code to scan. He turned and walked off before we could ask. We waited 10 minutes before anyone else came by our table. At that time, our server took our drink order and we asked her for a menu. It took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. At this point, 20 mins after we arrived we were able to order our apps and she said she would get our meal order when the apps came out and walked away. Our kids were getting restless and irritable so we played a very long a drawn out game of I-spy. The appetizers didn't take exceptional long to come out which was good but she walked away again before taking our food orders and we had ask for refills on our drinks and soy sauce which took a ridiculously long time to get. By the time our food came out, we had I-spied just about every thing in the restaurant. All in all it took us over 2.5 hrs start to finish. Both me and my husband have worked in the service industry in the past so we understand it's not all on the waitress. But what I did see was a complete lack of team work on the floor. Servers were not helping each other. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Definitely not worth the time or price. We won't be back anytime soon. read more

Let me start off by saying this is not the first P F Changs I've been to. I've been to several in other cities. That bring said, I called ahead 5 minutes before we got there and was told there was no wait. When we arrived, we were told there was a 45 minute wait for lunch. Lunch! Not dinner and I told the girl I just called and they told me it was not busy. She said they just got super busy. After I made it obvious I was not happy about the wait, the restaurant gods shined down on us. Magically a table for five was ready within 5 minutes of us waiting. We sat down and noticed a long spider web string hanging from a light fixture. It was swaying right above our table. Mind you this P F Changs is not even a month old. When I got up to tell the hostess about our unwanted friend, apparently the spidey string wanted to go with me. So in retrospect I took care of it. I had a coupon for free lettuce wraps so we ordered that as an appetizer. This particular day I was dining with my Mom and shed never been there before so I wanted her to have an enjoyable experience. The lettuce wraps came out and they were lukewarm. Not impressed. We ordered chicken lo mein and some orange chicken thing. My kids got kids Meals. Our server was nice but very slow. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. The manager even came over and apologized for the wait and promise he'd take care of us. The food came out finally and it was fine. The server brought over some green beans compliments of the manager. They were very good. When the check came the server only took off the grean beans, not the cost of the lettuce wraps in which I had the coupon for. He went to adjust and also take 10% off with my warrior card. When the check came back the manager also took off the cost of my lo mein. Honestly I rather would have paid full price for quicker service and warmer food. I think it's only a matter of time before this location shuts down. I'm from corpus and I just don't see it surviving long term especially because the waiters and cooks move like molasses. read more

It's PF Changs -- you know the menu, you know the waits, etc. Good things: Happy Hour specials from 3 - 6, both drinks (wine, beer and a few cocktails in the $3 - $6 range) and appetizers in the $3 to $6 range. Decent Estancia Sauvignon Blanc for $5. Lettuce wraps were $5 too (instead of $7.95) Not so good things: The rice/cellophane noodles in the Lettuce Wraps were either overdone or stale -- they were brittle, yet a bit chewy -- I kept thinking I was biting into some sharp chicken cartiledge, yet it was just the noodle pieces. The hot & sour soup is not really to my liking -- it's a bit stronger (or something) than I like, but I added a dash of the chili oil (or whatever's in the orange-red liquid in the vinegar cruet) and it seemed to mellow out the flavor. Service issues -- slow greet, slow water refills, didn't bring the fried crunchy strips for the soup (you apparently have to ask), but very friendly and nice. Overall -- I like to go to PFC's mid-afternoon to miss the lunch and dinner crush, and it's much quieter and serene. Next time, I'll go with the egg drop soup & see how that goes. read more

This is the worst PFC I have ever eaten in. Ate here twice over the course of 2 weeks and each time the food was WAY overcooked. Not sure what is going on, but they tend to overcook the shit out of every item on the menu. First time I ordered a beef entree that I have never tried before, so I thought maybe that is how its served. Second time, ordered the Mongolian Beef, which I have had many times at other locations. Nope, overcooked as well. Noodles: overcooked. My co workers ordered a shrimp dish, said it was overcooked as well. On the positive side, the service we received first time in was excellent and average the second time. The eggplant dish/side was excellent! I spoke to one of the locals later on in the week and he agreed that this location is the worst one based on his experience. read more

Sunday April 26th I love PF Changs and have never had a bad experience UNTIL last night. Terrible service, a mess from entry to restroom, cranky hostess, arguing with manager about pay, she felt after 1.5 years her terrible attitude somehow entitles her to a raise - I mentioned to them the topic really wasn't appropriate, in public at the hostess stand. Ordered food to go, via phone, was told pick up at 8:25, food was finally ready at 8:50, no plastic ware, no napkins, no sauce typically accompanying entree. Food is good, not good enough to eliminate bitter taste of uncomfortable atmosphere, lousy service and the long wait for $42.00 for two meals. Mixed review upon my recent visit I'd give it a 3. But, PF Chang is always great at customer service and consistent food so this is why I'd go back anytime. We are a party of 5 on a not so busy night but we're told there was a bit of a wait. Ok, no problem we'll sit at the bar and grab a drink we had some of the party running late anyhow. Bartenders (2) were welcoming and we ordered drinks. We waited for the rest of the party to join. One by one they trickled in and they were wanting to order drinks as well. At this point it looked that one bartender was training the other and they were involved in mixing up back up juices. The other 3 of our party try getting their attention but it took about 3 times of waving and "excuse me can we please order a drink?" Before they were recognized. Once the full party had arrived we were still at the bar and realized the hostess had never come by on an update on the table. So we enquired about it and got the answer that our name wasn't even on the list??! Hello? Really? How did that happen? We closed out our bar tabs and.... Note: I like to order vodka (Tito's) with grapefruit juice and a splash of St. Germain.. Umm, that splash cost me an extra $2.00!!! I've never been charged that ANYWHERE else ever. Any hoo.. We were seated promptly and offered 2 free appetizers, the lettuce wraps and ahi crisp. Yum! The waiter was quick to greet us and to take our orders. I ordered one more vodka grapefruit minus the St Germ. and had the Orange Peel Chicken (all time favorite)! This time it was not so consistent. It was over fried and dry/ hard. I asked to get a fresh order and the waiter was very accommodating. Over all this PF Chang's is not as consistent as most. Ordered Mongolian Beef & a Seafood combo with egg drop soup & paid over $60 for this crappy crappy food. The beef was dry, the fried rice was flavorless & smelt bad & the egg drop soup looked like it had been sitting in a pot for days. I wouldn't feed this food to my worst enemy! I've always been a fan of PF Changs but if this is the quality of food they've grown to serve at this location, no thank you! We will not be going back, for dine in or otherwise. If you've never had chinese food or you haven't had it in a really long time and can't remember what chinese food is supposed to taste like, this is the place for you. The entrees are overpriced given the shoddy presentation given aand the desserts are nothing to scream about. Plus if you get the potstickers it seems like they're dumping them out of the frozen bag straight onto the pan so the consistency of those are quite chewy. I don't know what the big hoopla is about those lettuce wraps. 1. it's iceberg lettuce 2. what's creative about sauteeing some ground beef in chinese 5 spice 3. umm it's iceberg lettuce. Unless it's an emergecy and my sodium levels are at a record low and i want to pay 15 bucks from some faux mongolian beef I'll get some take out other than that, i'll definitely pass. Did I also mention that the staff here doesn't know jack shit about their menu and when they bring out the tray with the three different sauces that they're supposed to mix for you and just take off it's very uninspiring. They really don't give a shit. And if you get that one waiter that eaves drops on your conversations and tries to chime in every 10 minutes, it can get very annoying. So we arrived on a Friday night-kind of busy but not extremely so at that time. We were greeted by the hostess and a blonde manager was standing there. After asking us how many, they turned to each other immediately and begin talking to each other, totally ignoring our request for a table instead of a booth. Where do they take us? Immediately to a booth. That being said, the waitress was pretty nice. we found a table and repositioned it so it wasn't so awkward. The food was a bit overpriced, but good. We like to try out stuff so we had the fried green beans, the lettuce wraps, and the fried cauliflower, and split the pepper chicken entree. Our thoughts: Lettuce wraps are great. Totally worth 10$, and a lot of food for the price. The cauliflower appetizer was SO good, I would buy that all the time. Great flavor, and soft but not overly cooked. The green beans were meh-we love fried green beans but this is not something we'd get again. The entree was great, but frankly way over priced! It wasn't too spicy or mild, and the chicken was well cooked, but we thought $16 was a tad much for the amount of food you get. One star deducted because, despite the fact that 50% of the restaurant was empty during lunch on a Tuesday, we were sat shoulder to shoulder with people on either side of us. Just tried this place for the first time, and doubt I will return. For $40, they have a fixed priced menu of 2 soups, 1 appetizer , 2 entrees and 2 mini desserts. We gave it a try... It was a lot of food, but the dishes left a lot to be desired - and for that price. The food was comparable to a mediocre Chinese take out place - yet you get the same amount and quality for $10. Not sure why, but the place was packed, it seems that this is a people-watching place. The service was fine - the bartenders (we had to sit at the bar - see previous sentence) were very nice and friendly, however they were very busy. Bottom line, come here to the bar or to people-watch, the food is far from enjoyable. read more

I love PF Changs! I have been to locations all over Texas, and this one is near the top of the list. It appears to be a newer location, but had a strange smell inside. It didn't bother me enough to go elsewhere, but was noticeable. The bartender greeted me right away and took my drink order. I ordered the Chang's Spicy Chicken for dinner, it was cooked perfectly and tasted as good as I have come to expect. I was disappointed to see that they got rid of the Mini-Desserts that came in shot glasses, and more so to see they got rid of their small-size chocolate cake with raspberry sauce - I think it's called the Great Wall, or something like that. They did replace the shot-glass desserts with small portions, for a buck or so more than the old ones. I had the salted caramel cake, it was delicious. We visited for the first time. Our food was good and our server was great. The parking sucks. We had the dinner for two and it was great. We had our choice of hot and sour soup or egg drop soup. We got both. It also come with Dynamite Shrimp. It was excellent. I had the Kung Pao chicken and it was superb. My wife had the Chicken Lo Mein. It had a great flavor but it was too greasy. I think the service I received at PF Changs in Corpus Christi was possibly the best service I have ever had at a restaurant. Our waiter, Aaron never let our drinks run out, always asked if there was anything else we needed, and had our food in VERY timely manner. The only thing that went wrong was one of the other waiters brought my Wok Mushrooms out before my dinner came out and Aaron took care of it and brought me another order for my dinner, and the manager took it off my bill without me even saying anything. Besides the service, the food was on spot. I had the Spicy Chicken and my wife and Lemon Scallops both of which were outstanding. For desert I had the Cheesecake with fresh berries. read more

I don't normally comment on chain restaurants, but I couldn't resist. I eat at Chang's all over the country and find it quite funny that Texas is the only state that consistently screws up the Northern Style Spare Ribs, mostly by "Texafying" them. Anywhere else (except maybe Colorado) the ribs have a darker, almost caramelized outer surface. Not Texas, oh no, they like 'em different. It's almost like they don't trust the recipe. Anyway, they're not bad, I just find it funny. Otherwise, Changs is a good go-to on the road or at home, a wide enough variety to make things interesting, good quality and consistent service. read more
