I normally never have an issue with my food from here, but last night I did. I ordered the egg drop soup, which should've been called French onion soup cuz that's all I could taste. I ordered the Buddha dish and it did not come with tofu which says it does, nothing but veggies. I also ordered the orange chicken and it didn't taste good. The new recipe is horrible no flavor! The orange chicken was mushy, bland and flavorless. Other items were ordered as well with no issues. If I'm paying for $200 worth of food it should be top quality. I'll just stick with JaJa's it's cheaper, better quality and amazing flavor. read more

This egg drop soup smelled bad and as I stirred it around I picked up a chunk of moldy egg. I sent it back. Didn't want another one. I'm sad cuz I love the soup here. :( I wanted to walk out but my daughter seemed to be enjoying her meal. I didn't want to make a big deal about it but it was very disgusting. read more

Way not to honor a reservation! Waited 2 hours to be seated. My gf wanted fried rice and the waitress said they already were shutting that down in the kitchen and they had none. Then, she showed up later with some, my gf said it tasted funny (she is Asian btw). She was the only one of us to have the rice and was ill all night. The hot tea was ice cold and service was quite slow. Our order of brussel sprouts came out totally burnt as well as the ribs. On top of all of this, all of the food was extremely salty. Wow. Great service!!! Great food! Thank you all very much!! The Mongolian Beef and Shrimp Fried Rice were wonderful. The fried banana ice cream were delicious. The cheesecake was to die for. We left at closing and realized my brother left his phone there and the excellent waiter, Ben, found it and secured it in the lost and found. We called there the next morning. An HOUR AND HALF BEFORE OPENING, we called. The manager picked up! He checked for us immediately, and we were welcome to pick it up right then even though they were closed. First time at this location. We had great service and there was no wait. We had the pork egg rolls as an appetizer. They were really good especially the sauce they came with. Asked three times for a knife finally got one...something had a moldy taste in both meals...not the lettuce wraps they were actually correct and good... with weird Siracha on sushi to eat with a gigantic fork. . Sorry, folks, but this review only rates 2 stars tonight for PF Chang's because: 1) I HAVE experienced better - at other PF Chang's and even our own "Asian bistro" places (there ARE two others). 2) The service was incredibly slow. Yeah, they're busy, but they've got people buzzing around all over and the one who turned out to be OUR waiter had to have passed by our table at LEAST half a dozen times before stopping and taking our order. And then it was an equally long wait for our drinks to get to the table. 3) The egg drop soup was a bit too thick - bordering on "gloppy." 4) The Mongolian Beef was just BURIED under green onion tops. Yeah, it's supposed to impart some flavor into the beef, but COME ON! Two hours later, I'm STILL tasting onions. 5) My iced tea glass was empty too long before it got refilled. Any place worth it's salt would've refilled it at the halfway mark. Now, the UPside? Yes, the food was good. The Mongolian Beef was very tasty (sans the onion tops). The Sesame Chicken was good, too - had a nice, citrusy flavor in the sauce. And, I can tell you from experience, brown rice is hard to get right and this was perfect! They're also running a special "Dinner for Two" that's very reasonably priced considering you get soup, appetizer, two entrees, and dessert for less than 40 bucks? That ain't bad. Maybe it's this, particular location that needs a bit of work because, again, I HAVE had better results at other Chang's and other lesser-known places. We'll see..... read more

May not be entirely appropriate since this was a Grub Hub delivery. Food was delivered timely and as expected. Grub Hub guy showed up with no obvious identification he was from Grub Hub. Dropped the food and said enjoy. However, the order had no utensils, plates, soy, or even a fortune cookie. And I am in a hotel so had to beg stuff from the hotel restaurant. I can't imagine I will trust Grub Hub again to deliver an order. At least Chang's could have added the typical stuff you expect with Chinese food. read more

Amazing experience! Aaron was our server, and he was the best I've ever had. I am tough on servers...previous to school I served for 10 years. We had the Chang's Famous Lettuce Wraps, wok seared mushrooms, Lemon Scallops, Spicy Chicken, and wok seared snap peas, Tres Leche cake, Great wall of chocolate cake, and Cheese cake. I LOVED everything. The lemon scallops were lemony and sweet, and cooked to perfection. I love the lettuce wraps. Just remember to ask for extra lettuce...its free of charge. My husbands mushrooms came out a little early, so the manager removed it from our bill and got us another with our meal free of charge. We told him it was ok, but he insisted. I had two mini deserts: tres leche, and great wall of chocolate. My husband had the cheese cake and it was really good too. Then the next day we called in for take out. We had two orders of the lettuce wraps, an order of the mushrooms, and an order of the lemon scallops. It was great! Asked for extra lettuce and they practically gave us two heads of it! They had all of the sauces right in the front and gave me as much as I wanted. Took 20 minutes to prepare, and when we came in the woman went and got it from the kitchen immediately. Aaron was serving again and remembered me on sight. Overall a wonderful experience. I don't believe that $52 for all that food at dinner was high for the quality of the food. I will be a repeat customer. Oh and don't forget to sign up for their "Warrior Card" because it gets you 10% off your bill. read more

Honestly, I never knew what the hype was for PF Changs Restaurant chains, mainly because it is an Americanized-Asian restaurant, much like a panda express, but in a sit-down restaurant version. Their food here was average in size, not too large and not too small, enough for a single person to finish, which is well-appreciated. The manager and staff are always well-engaged with the customers, which is also very nice for the facility. The food was moderately good, and there was a nice variety of asian dishes. Being Asian, however, my taste buds are highly acute to true, traditional, and flavorful Asian foods, thus this restaurant does not quite do my expectations justice. Other people really seem to like it, though ! the interior and exterior of the restaurant is creative and dimly lit for a nice ambience. Wait time was average. For a chain Chinese restaurant it is not bad at all. In fact, if you have eaten at any of the other locations, you can pretty much count on the experience being pretty consistent. I would recommend you make reservations ahead of time as you will experience wait times from 1.5 to 3 hours. This location is located in the newly remolded La Palmera Mall. The restaurant is clean and the waiters are attentive. Again, make reservations... unless you don't mind waiting up to 3 hours. read more

In the past we've not been fans of P.F. Chang's but while visiting relatives in Corpus they wanted to go so . . . We really enjoyed the meal. Their custom was to combine all the orders and do them family style. This was a great idea. What a huge and delightful difference in quality this PF Changs is compared to the PF Chang's I have visited twice in Bakersfield. This is an anomaly I find in chain restaurants here in Bakersfield. I don't know if it is the lack of being able to hire good management or good chefs but there definitely is a difference. This store is excellent both in quality, service and taste. When I'm in Corpus one of my go to places is P.F. Chang's. It's located at the mall and has the huge horse in front. The restaurant is always clean and well staffed. The atmosphere is calm and quiet. The lighting is relaxing. I usually sit at the bar. The bar almost always partially seated so I get good service. Service is quick. Food is almost always delivered at a reasonable time. I usually order the lettuce wraps, ahi tuna or the poke. The restaurant maintains continuity across each restaurant I've visited. The Asian Pear Mojito is delicious. Recommend. We had a take out order for six people. My daughter picked it up on her way home from work because the restaurant was close to her office. When she arrived home we discovered about half of the food was missing and a couple of the items were not what we ordered. We live in Flour Bluff 20 minutes away so we were not happy about driving round trip to get the order corrected. I like PF Chang's. My wife doesn't. I was born and raised in the USA. My wife was born and raised in Asia (Indonesia). My wife barely recognizes PF Chang's food as being Asian-influenced. I understand that this is what passes for Asian food in the USA. As make-believe Asian food restaurants go, I think PF Chang's is pretty good. If you're looking for genuine Asian food, this is not the place for you. I've lived in Asia and traveled substantially in east Asia. Food like you get at PF Chang's is hard to find in most Asian cities. But I've eaten at PF Chang's in numerous American cities. Their quality control is quite good. Once entering a PF Chang's and ordering, I can't tell whether I'm in Scottsdale, Dallas, Seattle, The Woodlands or Corpus Christi. I only know that I'm not in Shenzhen. read more

Great place to go for a date night for dinner and drinks. Been here a few occasions. Food and service Is usually good. Upon sitting, the waiter asked for our drink order,. Mine is always the mai tai, however I was told they were out of an ingredient to make it. So I suggested using another liquor in place, he refused and said the bartender said no because it "was a specialty drink" i was a bit disappointed. So it took me some time to choose a drink. (That's usually why i come here) the mai tai. I ended up ordering another drink, it wasn't to well, tasted more like juice with no alcohol at the price of $10. However the food did take a while to come, but it definitely was hot & fresh, so it was enjoyable. Yes n the future I suggest do not run out of an ingredient for you signature drinks, or go to the local liquor store and buy. You don't want a mad patron who paid well over $100 for dinner. I have never had a bad meal or bad experience at PF Chang's. The food is expertly prepared and presented. Our Server, David was gracious and prompt. We shifted seats several times after we order and he didn't miss a beat. Thank you David. We enjoyed drinks, Pad Thai, Mongolian beef, Kung Pow chicken, lettuce wrap, etc and topped it off with fried bananas and coconut pineapple ice cream. Wow! Party of seven served, satisfied and full.
