I've eaten at PF Chang's in other places and had really delicious food. But this particular experience was super disappointing we were traveling through Lubbock and needed a decent dinner. We figured PF Changs was a good bet, because we're been generally quite satisfied. But not tonight. The service was prompt and friendly but the food was largely lacking in flavor and in cooking skill. In particular we both had different chicken dishes and the chicken was overcooked and dry in both dishes. I may one day give PF Chang's a try again, but NOT in Lubbock, TX! read more

Love the fact that PF Chang's is now there in Lubbock. Earlier could go to this place only when I was in Dallas. I love almost everything here. My list of favorite appetizers are the pan seared pork dumplings, cauliflower tempura and the lettuce wraps. As for the entree, My favorites are the lo mein and street noodles!!! Also I love the fact that they have a good selection of vegetarian food as well. The location is very disappointing to put it nicely. We order $120 worth of food. Not every close to what We have had at other locations. Ordered take out calamari we cook in what seem to be old grease it was very dark. Egg drop soup was darker that other location did not taste right at all. I went out and had a great dining experience. The choices for meats and vegetables was fresh but I wish the cause utensils were a bit bigger, I'm huge on flavor. I visited Chang's in Lubbock and was looking forward to a great lunch. Was sadly disappointed. My server got the order wrong - brought white rice instead of fried, but quickly brought a bowl of fried ... too bad it was cold. I asked for tea and honey - got the tea only. Ordered Mongolian Beef and the beef was tough, dry, and chewy and the only veggie in the dish was green onion tops. This location is new. I went after the lunch rush and it was not crowded. Restaurant was clean. Parking was easy. Too bad. Other Chang's I have visited were better. Hope this was an off day at this restaurant. :-( read more

We like to have good food and will do the chains to get familiar foods. P.F. Chang in Lubbock certainly does not live up to its sister restaurants we've frequented. The service scurried pat us for over 5 minutes until I stopped a waitperson. The soup we ordered was cold as in room temperature. The waitperson was courteous but tried to give reasons. I don't want reasons I want the hot soup. It will not get our business again. It's a shame that like so many Lubbock chain restaurants, they just don't carry on the quality of their sister businesses. read more

I was so excited to hear a PF Changs was coming to Lubbock. It's one of my favorites. I enjoyed the atmosphere, our server, and our food. Had a blast. 5 Stars for sure! Cons - 1. It's incredibly loud. 2. I asked the bartender one question and he thought I was hitting on him, so he just needs to settle down a little. But that seems like a personal issue. Thought it was worth noting though. None of the cons outweigh the pros. I love this place and unless they ban me, I will continue to go. P.F. Chang has historically been one of my favorite places, but I won't be going back to the one in Lubbock. Here are the many issues of the night: 1. We got our appetizers before our bar dinks. 2. Bar could not "dress" a Dos Equis with salt and lime. The other drink at our table was a highball and waitress had to go back to the bar to get a straw. 3. Soup was lukewarm and had a strange smell. (Egg drop soup) Waitress delivered soups without spoon and we had to ask for them. When she brought them, one was dirty and had to be returned. No one ate much of the soup. 4. After entrees were delivered, we ask for hot mustard. She never brought it. We didn't ask again because every table around us was having issues from incorrect bills to trying to get water refilled. The restaurant had maybe 3 tables with customers at 4:30 pm. It was loud and had so many employees running around. We ordered lettuce wraps as an appetizer and they brought it with no plates. We ran out of lettuce with over half of the meat left. Had to ask for the plates and waited about 5 minutes to ask our waitress for more lettuce. So, had to wait to get started eating. But once we got the food we got bombarded with management asking how our food tasted. We were still dipping it in to our plates. Give us a chance to take a bite. Geez!!! One waitress stretched between several tables and other employees just running around. Called in an order for five this evening. When I picked up the order they told me they only had four of the orders. They were out of the fifth order. Problem was I had five folks to feed. I asked for the manager and inquired as to why they did not call when they discovered they could not deliver the fifth order. He acted like he absolutely did not care. When I got home they did not include any rice for the orders I had. Horrible management and oversite. I would absolute not recommend this establishment. read more

Horrible. Got 2 orders of the pan fried dumplings. First order I got 10 min after everyone got their food. The second ordered did not come until 20 min after everyone was done eating. Seriously, I love PF Chang's, but this location is SH*T. They food is just awful. I ordered spicy chicken, it was not spicy and tasted bland. Also ordered the Brussel sprouts, they are generally delicious, I swear I just ate Lysol, it taste of chemicals. Also had sweet and sour chicken, it was ok. I ordered a meal today through DoorDash and the restaurant is literally 1 mile away. My delivery was fine and actually the delay was because she was waiting on the restaurant to finish my order. So you would assume if that was the case the meal would be piping hot, right? Wrong! I order the lo mein and it was like warm at best. The meats were all too hard to chew, the shrimp were like old chicken bites, and the noodles looked like they had been sitting out all afternoon. I've never been to PF Chang's. My family and I went for a birthday dinner. We called ahead and waited about 15 minutes to be seated. They were able to get our complicated orders correct, it just took them a while to get my food out specifically. I decided to try their shrimp tempura. It was okay, I definitely had better sushi. One of the best places to eat in Lubbock . Appetizers are real good . Surf and turf is my favorite but everything I have tried is real good . One thing I did not like was brown rice. We were so excited to try out PF Changs but didn't expect much from another restaurant in the Lubbock area. I feel like it's really easy to find good food in Lubbock but lately the service has been mediocre at most places at best.
