We arrived at roughly 4:10, it was busy, but about 1/3 of the tables were empty, with only 2 tables that needed to be bused. Our Sever was good, attentive and courteous. Our table was clean and neat. When our dinner was served, One of our plates was suppose to have noodles with the chicken, it arrived with only chicken on the plate, and nothing else, I would have complained to our server, BUT! it took over 2 hours to arrive at our table, when we left it was 6:26, we were parked in a 2 hour parking spot, and our return to our vehicle ended up being a unappreciated conversation with "Mall Security" about my tardiness. My expectation of being able to order for 2, served in under 2 hours seemed reasonable, clearly I was wrong. This was in no way our waitress's fault, her service of our table was good, polite and often apologetic for our wait. read more

Gluten free is your friend here! They are so equipped to handle the gluten allergy which is surprising for a Chinese restaurant. I love that they have an actual separate menu with more than just one or two items to choose from. The service is always good here. I have had the best experience with servers here. They are great on adapting orders and making recommendations. The food is really good. I love that they have lots of options for meats and veggies. It is slightly pricey for how much food comes in the meat entrees but the fried rice, veggies and low mien are huge dishes and can easily be shared. You do need about 3 entrees or 2 entrees and 1 veggie to feed 2 hungry adults. I think there is plenty for kids to eat and they have a great kids menu. My kids love eating here. There is a long wait most of the time which is the only hard thing about coming here. read more

P.F. Chang's should never be eaten as take-out....EVER! Although the packaging is impressive, and the take-out server was friendly, the quality and quantity of the food takes a nose dive. Sitting in an airtight plastic container for 20 minutes until you commute home is long enough for anything once crispy to be soft and greasy. This food is meant to be eaten minutes after preparation. The ribs we ordered were so over cooked that when we picked them up, half of the meat fell onto the plate. I can't help but feel that those ribs were designated for take-out because if served in the restaurant they would have been sent back for sure. We ordered dessert, banana spring rolls, and they informed us that the delicious coconut ice cream is not included in take-out orders due to melting issues. I assured her that I didn't care and made her get me some. Overall the experience was truly a disappointment. Amazing! When we first walked in, we were gladly welcomed by a ecstatic employee; who immediately led us to a table. The entire restaurant makes me feel like royalty, at a Chinese banquet. The lighting, the quiet soothing appropriate music, it's all perfectly fitting for the environment in hand. I absolutely loved my food, I didn't have to wait at all, for very long. I'd leave a comment about the food and the service, but I've been waiting for an hour to be seated - glad we thought to set a reservation a week ago. The waiting area is nice, a little small for a birthday party of 8, but on par with what you'd expect for an entrance waiting area. This is now the second time in the last two months that we've set a reservation ahead of time and ended up having to wait well beyond our slotted time. We moved from the Midwest this past August. Just found this place a month ago. We live on Traverse Mountain. Never had been to one. All I can say is "WOW". The staff is great, the food outstanding, and it's just fun to be there. Now Christmas Eve we went around 4pm. Perfect time. Had our dinner. The server then came to box our food, then told us our meal had been paid for. My wife and I were speechless . I am a Vietnam Veteran. Was just wearing my hat. OMG....this place is addicting. I just love the lettuce wraps!! All the other entries are a added plus. It's quiet, intimate and you can even talk to your guests. For me that is really important. My wife and I were given a gift card, and thus an excuse to swing by PF Chang's this weekend. I expected it to be packed on a Friday night at peak dinner hour in Provo, it was busy, but we were seated immediately. I think I can sum up my experience in one word; Lazy. They brought your soy/horseradish/red pepper to the table and we instantly noticed a "foreign object" on the plate. Yep, a long black hair hanging out of our red pepper sauce. It was incredibly obvious, but apparently the person putting the dish together didn't care to take one look and make sure it was right, and neither did our server. Both were simply being lazy. We ordered the lettuce wraps, which I think is some sort of law at PF Chang's. They must have microphones at the tables because no sooner had our server turned the corner then another server was on her way to the table with our lettuce wraps. It was honestly less than a minute after we placed our order. Now that is prompt service! The lettuce was fresh and crispy, and the filling has good flavor - but unfortunately the filling and the lettuce were served at the same temperature....Our dish had obviously been sitting out for a while. Another reminder of how lazy PF Chang's has become. They sell so many of this dish, my guess is they just keep making them knowing the dish they are making will get ordered eventually. We had the Mongolian Beef and Spicy chicken for mains. Both were large enough to share, and we took some home. Both dishes were good, but were also very sweet. PF Chang's replaces the spices and flavor development normally associated with authentic Chinese food with sugar. It's lazy cooking. I get that PF Chang's is a chain restaurant, catering to a local palate, so I can excuse the sweet dishes. But I believe the laziness pervasive throughout our meal, cannot be excused. I do not think it is too much to expect your food to be clean and hot. Especially at their price point. It was over $50 for the starter, two mains, and a dessert, no drinks. Bottom line: If I was given another gift card would I be back? Yes. Do I have any other reason to return and pay $50 for very slightly upgraded Panda Express? No. read more

Wanted sushi and the only place that I wanted was closed for remodeling. Another placed we stopped at ended up being all you can eat, place didn't look appealing and we walked out. So me and the husbands said "screw it" stopped he search and went to the first place with asian food. They actually had rolls their but it wasn't worth the $13! calamari we ordered was way too chewy and not its normal crispy goodness. We also shared salt and pepper shrimp, those were actually pretty delicious and the kung pao tasted okay, but I'm just not a kp fan anyways. Over all it was okay but not worth the money. It's been years since I've eaten here, use to go often when it first opened but since then there are to many other great choices. If you are looking to enjoy dinner with drinks I wouldn't go here. They ran out of sake, and two of the beers out group was drinking. The lettuce wraps, orange chicken, Kung pao, and fried rice were good. You can get something just a similar at Panda Express. Well PF Changs don't bother going there! We went in at 6:00 pm there is no seating for an hour and half! We then check in at 7:45 pm olnow it's going to be another 20 minutes. We wait until 8:15 pm people are coming in with reservations and are being told the have to wait 30 minutes after the scheduled reservation time it is now 8:30 pm. We are very hungry! Too late now to go somewhere else and wait anither hour. So at this point we decide fast food will have to do. So we go for fast food. Finally at 9:15 pm we get notification that our table is getting the final touches to come in and they will seat us! We have already eaten and are back to the hotel. 3 hours and 15 minute wait! Poor poor customer service. The three hostess are laughing and having a good time while people are waiting horrible long times! PF Chang get someone responsible to host and be honest with customers! I usually love to come here with my husband and dine in is usually great. But, today I decided to do a curbside pickup order. I parked in the designated parking spot and called to notify the host that I was there. I was informed that there is "no curbside pick up on saturdays"(even though the website indicates that they do) and I was told to come in and grab the order. I came inside and instead of the host grabbing the order she pointed and told me she thought that was my order. I checked the order and saw it was mine and I took it and drove home. However, if you have allergies be aware that they are not able to separate out ingredients for you (meaning most isn't made on the spot) so you might be stuck with only one or two viable options. Nobody could explain to me why a curbside pickup ordered an entire day in advance wasn't ready until ONE HOUR after the scheduled pickup time. I have never had such horrible and apathetic service. I will take every opportunity I can to tell people how horrible the service was and how poorly we were treated. "Wait in your car for 30-60 min, you'll be fine. Or we can cancel." Then a larger party walks in without a reservation and was sat immediately. We waited an hour for our food. There were over a dozen people waiting for to go orders. We moved to Traverse Mt this past August. Discovered this place last month. Never had been to one before. The servers, the staff and the food were all outstanding. Great atmosphere. We went on Christmas Eve. After we finished the serve boxed our meal then said your meal was already taken care of. My wife and I were speechless. We asked who and we told they wanted to remain anonymous. As a Vietnam veteran I have done this for others but never expected this to happen. One month ago I made a reservation for 5 PM, this is a family tradition to have Christmas Eve dinner here, we showed up 30 minutes early to let them know we were here. At 5 I was told 5-10 minutes 35 minutes later still sitting in the lobby, told that the kitchen is backed up and there is nothing they can do. My view is take care of the customers that went out of their way to make reservations tell the people phoning in orders the kitchen is behind. Definitely won't go back. This was my second time at this PF Chang's. When we got there, it was maybe 1/3 full. It took our waitress 20 minutes to get our water. And 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food to come out. We would try to get her attention and she would ignore us and go the long way around our table. Excellent dish and service! My server Tj Taylor was very knowledgeable about the menu. He suggested the Sea Bass, which was a great choice. I have been a fan of PF Chang's for years. We're traveling through Orem and after reading the reviews, decided to get the take out to make it a faster evening. I was really impressed that our order was ready about 3 minutes after I arrived. The server who helped me was efficient and polite. I am forever indebted to Brad H. who wrote the review about the walnut shrimp with honeydew melon. I have not had a favorite there since they stopped making the lemon chicken, but I think I have just found one! The walnut shrimp was delicious! In the past I have loved the food and service at this PF Chang's. I had several gift cards and decided after a very hectic pre-holiday season to treat my family to PF Chang's late Christmas Eve. We ordered 7 different items and 2 orders of lettuce wraps. I picked up the food excited to hang with the family at home. We gathered around the table exhausted and ready for the incoming family in the morning. We opened up the bags and what we found inside was ridiculously disappointing. Plastic containers with barely any food in them. Items that were supposed to have noodles or vegies of some type didn't have them. I am talking family style chinese with less than a half a cup of food in those big trays. We ordered brown rice and they gave us white. We ordered lettuce wraps and guess what? We go the chicken stuff but no yummy sauce and ...wait for it...NO LETTUCE! Worst meal ever! I will never go there again. read more
