Service: We sat at the bar and had excellent service. Good: I got the Chang spicy chicken dish. I personally thought it was a little too much sauce. So I asked for another bowl of brown rice so I just transferred my chicken over. The flavor was good and barely spicy. I could get this dish again but I'd have to say light on the sauce. Accessibility: 2 very nice low spots at the bar. Thankfully they don't use it to put the margarita machine like so many other restaurants. Bathrooms are very accessible and low access for sinks. Automatic water and paper towel machines. Plenty of low tables throughout restaurant. This is by far the nicest of their chain restaurants I've attended. There are lots of windows and natural light. The other ones I've been to in Troy and Novi are so dark inside. I'll definitely come back soon! read more

There are so many restaurants in Oakland county, don't choose this one. It's a bummer as I used to come 5x a week a couple years back and had my favorite bartenders and servers, the food quality was always hot, fresh and FAST. I don't know WTF has happened in the last 4 years but their subpar service and terrible food quality has me wondering why people dish out the money here. I was very hungry and came from the hospital with my son, needless to say we were hungry and craved lettuce wraps, as soon as we sat we ordered food immediately. We literally watched 5 other people who sat AFTER us - and I mean 10-15 minute after us, get their food first. I asked the bartender where our food was and he didn't know? I was kind of blown away that he didn't know and wondered why everyone else was served besides us when we were the first group to arrive. We waited there for 45 minutes and never received our lettuce wraps OR entrees. (It was also quite slow) We had to walk out and go to Kruse & Muer next door - we received our salad within 5 minutes there. ‍ I wish it would improve so we could go back and enjoy it, unfortunately I cannot support such a poor operation and advise you to look elsewhere. read more

My sister was there this past Saturday. This is her review on FB but she isn't on yelp, so I told her that I would just copy and paste. This has been a pretty uncomfortable week. It's been a real challenge to eat or drink, as well as... the opposite. That's sort of expected when a medication gets changed, added, stopped or even just taken at a different time- or so it seems. This happened on Saturday and it still bugs me a bit. I KNOW that it wasn't personal, but if sure felt lousy at the time and I don't ever want to go into PF Changs again The dark-gray haired hostess at PF Chang's viciously snapped at me, "I don't wanna hear about your CANCER" with a scowl and stance that was just so mean... and I ended up crying so hard I just wanted to go home. (It's been an awful week. Physically and emotionally AND at least one of my meds makes me SO emotional) I was hot, uncomfortable, my stomach started to hurt badly everytime she said something. Each statement was more insensitive than the last and I only said the one thing so she'd understand that I CANNOT run around or i"ll throw-up. At THAT point, I wasn't feeling like trying to eat anymore, I just felt 'manhandled' by her. It took EVERYTHING I had to get there and try to feel normal. She was running me ragged by having me follow her from the back to a dirty table, then back to the entrance then all the way to the front to the middle then back to the back then to the middle of the restaurant... I just wanted to sit down and was getting queasy. I was following her to a table with Hubz, and she kept changing her mind and was walking super fast- I had a very hard time keeping up that day. There were only THREE TABLES taken. First she sat us at a dirty table with square wet spots (where the previous diners' plates had been- square plates) and sesame seeds in the center... like the previous patrons picked them from their plate and put them onto the table. I asked if someone could wipe the table. She snapped, "that table IS clean- it's fine". I showed her the crap on the table and she told me thar 'it's from the trays. They come through the dining room and stuff falls off'. I said, "well then we better not sit here. I don't want water and food to land on our table while we're eating" She said, "oh, it wont, it's fine" - still wouldn't wipe it down and darted back to the hostess stand before I could ask for another table. After a couple of minutes I decided that it WASNT okay so I asked a waitress if we could sit at "that" table- the place was almost empty. She went and got the hostess who shouted, "well you'll have to come back to the hostess stand for me to reseat you" I'd had it so I took a breath, got up and walked over to her and explained why I couldn't keep walking back and forth to the entrance and that I just needed a place to sit. She got LOUD and rude, grabbed menus and said, "fine" then she proceeded to push me too far. I followed as she sprinted and talked loudly I told her that I needed to sit down and she kept arguing with me. "OH you'll be fine", "it's just over here", "well start over ". I kept trying to get her attention but she was walking so fast and turning her head JUST ENOUGH for her to say the things she wanted to say. I finally had to stop her and explain WHY I couldn't do it (quietly and with sweat rolling down my face and above my top lip- BOY did I look like a hot mess. She rolled her eyes, dismissively waved her hand, shook her head and said, "pfft, my dad has cancer I know AAAAAALLLLL about it". She went on and on, LOUDLY, about her dad while waving her hand dismissively -all while I'm trying to follow her to a table and walking really fast. I said, "Please, im having a hard time keeping up"...she continued. I said, "PLEASE i cant hear everything you're saying, can you stop or slow down?" SHE kept her one-sided conversation going. I asked her once more to please stop (as im trying to keep up) and to either pick a table or let me just sit down. She kept going, with personal details about her father and i had to finally say, "Stop. I don't wanna hear anymore. I just need to sit" That's when she said what she said: " WELL I DON'T WANNA HEAR ABOUT YOUR CANCER!" I will never go back there. She was so abrasive and offensive. I felt like I wasn't moving fast enough for her. The manager and waitress were REALLY nice but if that's okay with them, then IM not okay with them. I was really looking forward to a bite of tofu lettuce wraps. Just a bite. I had a full ugly-cry in a restaurant. Yay me! There. I lost my sh*t and cried like a baby for the rest of the day. We go to PF Chang's weekly however the last 2 times we have gone have been very disappointing we have endured long waiting times to get our food only to have the order mixed up several times in the same visit. To our last visit where we were met with indifference from the hostess, we were told the wait would be 15 minutes which turned into almost 40 minutes. My husband wanted to leave after 20 minutes passed. However, I talked him into waiting. Big mistake, after our 40 minute wait we were seated and encountered more indifference the waiter took another 15 minutes before he bothered to make an appearance at our table. We explained we have waited a long time both for a table and then for our waiter. When my husband asked is there going to be a long wait for our food? He replied "yeah the kitchen is really backed up". We told him we didn't wish to wait. He shrugged his shoulders and walked off. He seemed relieved that we didn't want to stay. I need to stress, the restaurant was NOT packed in fact there were so many empty sections we couldn't understand why it was taking so long for us to be seated. Then when we were told the kitchen was backed up, which was really confusing, we were seated in front of the kitchen we could see most of the waitstaff were standing around talking. There were also quite a few dirty tables that had been that way since we walked in. So disappointing this was one of my favorite places to eat. We will be trying a different location. I went on a tues around three and there wasnt that many people. Was seated directly and greeted my a server quick as well. I ordered California rolls which were amazing. They drizzle a sauce underneath it which is very good taste a little gingery. I also got kung pao chicken which i wish had more sauce. Thats probably the only thing i wish they would do better is give more sauce in the entrees. Very dry. The wonton soup is good again ginger in the wonton. Very good but a little bland. I much prefer this P.F. Chang's over other locations. I've seen some of the bad reviews but they don't apply to any of the times I've been. The lunch menu is the best option here. Food was always timely and tasty. All of the apps we tried were good. We usually sit at the bar so try that as an option if you're concerned about the service because each bartender we have had has been great. Check out the hot sake which is on special and delicious. read more

Now, they have raised the price to $19.99 per person, and changed the appetizer choices and entree choices. Now, lettuce wraps are an additional $3.00 (now a premium appetizer) and Chang's Spicy Chicken is now an additional $5.00 (now a premium entree) Keep changing items and prices and customers will stop coming! read more

I'm always willing to give second chances..so, now, I ordered Honey Chicken tonight, like last time, and was disappointed. The chicken was still not as good. When they first opened, their breaded chicken, in dishes such as this, were whole pieces, and the batter they used was amazing and the honey sauce was lightly added. Maybe others have had better, but twice now within 6 months time, the chicken was in small pieces and very fatty, most of it all stuck together in one clump oozing with too much honey sauce. We had the 50.00 date night deal, which the staff knew nothing about. the meal ended up costing way over 125.00, we ordered two entrees only to find out once the bill came we were only entitled to one with the date night deal, the server was not even aware. the manager came to our table said he could not take the extra entree off our bill which we were charged erroneously for and offered a gift certificate , we agreed . ross brought the gift card over it was 25.00 that was a slap in my face. I will never be back, I will contact the corporate office. buyer beware of the date night deal, they will screw you over on the food. if I could give no stars I would. read more

There is an absolute reason the current overall rating of this location is 2.5 stars. Here me out: I've eaten here more than a few times in the past. Some decent experiences, some not so good. My boyfriend and I walk in this evening before 5:30. It's Easter Sunday. Posted on the front door are today's hours- 11am-9pm. We walk in, and there are - at a maximum - 35 people in the dining room east of the bar. None of the booths are sat, the north dining area is empty. Three anti-social hostesses are up front. Zero people skills and did not seem like they wanted to help us. They asked if we had a reservation, which we did not. The girl in the bunny ears was told to go back and ask (what, we did not know). She came back smiling, and says "He said NO" and giggles after the other hostess, Tiffany, has her repeat herself. We are told they recently had each server get a table and we need to wait 15 minutes (despite looking at all those empty tables) or sit at the bar. I asked if we could sit at the bar TABLES. Not only have we done so before, but the bartenders also wait on guests there. We are informed that section is closed. The hostesses were extremely uncomfortable, the shorter one wouldn't even look us in the eyes. So you're telling me that all your servers were in the weeds with a few tables. You are telling me that you refused us to sit at a table and allow us to get drinks and wait while we look at the menu. Rather, your hostesses deemed it the appropriate response to either have us stand in a corner for 15+ minutes or be ushered like cattle from bar seat to table when it's ok to do so. As I've previously mentioned- All booths were open as well as an entire section. Figure it out. Either you want guests, or you don't. We clearly don't need to spend our money there. For anyone who thinks this location might be a nice place to drop in and grab a meal while you're out- guess again. The kung pao chicken and mongolian beef were great. They really should add some vegetables to the dishes though. They just had a lot of onions. Fried rice was ok but was a little dry. My husband and I visited the Rochester hills location last night 8/12/18 for our very first time ever at P.F. Chang's. I'm only giving it the 1 star rating because, our waitress was great and tried to help make the experience good (until the end then we felt judged). & Our appetizer was really good. We first ordered the tempura calamari- that was AMAZING! (So we figured our entrees would be great, boy were we wrong) My husband ordered the surf and turf, he said the filet was chewy, and the tempura shrimp & lobster where flavorless. He also ordered fried rice with his meal, as he began eating he noticed everything had a sweet taste to it. Definitely wasn't expecting that. I ordered the Hokkien Street Noodles based on the reviews from yelp and the pictures it looked amazing! Well what I got was absolutely no shrimp (even the waitress said she didn't know where the shrimp was but, didn't try to make it right.) I'm 100% sure the chicken they put in my food was tofu. It was rubbery & had absolutely no taste. I also ordered the fried rice which I thought was pretty yummy, and the chicken egg rolls also yummy and had actual chicken in it. When I brought the "chicken" from my food to my waitresses attention she first told us that's what they always use (even though all the pictures on yelp shows something completely different), then when I asked her how tofu looked she said basically like what's on my plate. So at this point I'm frustrated and all we could do was laugh because, she didn't realize what she said. She then told us that we ordered bold items for it being our first time here so next time order something more simple. (I didn't know surf & turf was bold, & my only issue with my plate was the no shrimp & the TOFU). She boxed up our food even though my husband didn't even want to take any of his food home. She then asked about what we wanted for dessert because she needed to make sure we like something before we left, we told her we would try the Great Wall of chocolate that turned out to be pretty good. We got our bill and we were most definitely taken back by how much it was. We just started laughing because, we weren't expecting the bill to be that much. (104$ prior to tip & also surprised we were paying for dessert considering she said she was trying to make it right). So we give her our gift card we got as a wedding gift and then my husband gives her his debit card to cover the rest. She then proceeds to say "I know our food is expensive, are you sure you don't want me to get the manager to take something off since you didn't like your food." My husband and I looked at each other and instantly said no. At that moment we definitely felt judge. 104$ was NOT an expensive bill to us, we spend more than that at other restaurants. Our issue with the bill being 104$ was the fact that our entrees were absolutely HORRIBLE. Needless to say we left there feeling like our waitress thought we couldn't afford our bill & only complained to her about the entrees to get them taken off. (Thank god we said no to seeing the manager). We definitely will never return to this location or another P.F. Chang's again. It was my mom's birthday and she wanted to come here. We made a reservation days before but when we got there, our tables were still not ready for our large party. So it annoyed me a little that we had to wait for 5 mins while they sat up. No big deal though, the hostess was nice enough. We sat down and had an amazing waitress named Angel who took great care of us. She was timely and personable. I ordered the shrimp & lobster rice, dynamite shrimp wraps and the strawberry limeade drink spiked with gin. The strawberry limeade was really good, the gin was not overpowering the drink and worked nicely with the mint, cucumber and strawberries. I would definitely get it again. The shrimp and lobster fried rice was really good but after many bites, it becomes too much of the same flavor and the flavors are strong in this one. It has spicy chillis, crispy shrimp, crispy lobster pieces, shiitake mushrooms, and green onions. I'd get this dish again but I'd order it with something else, to mix up the flavors. The dynamite shrimp wraps were really good, I liked the spicy sauce they served it with and crisp lettuce pieces. Only complaint is that you don't get very much for the price. It was $11.50 I believe for a few bites. I had more lettuce wraps left than shrimp but it was nice - I'd order another appetizer. Also they gave my mother a free mini blueberry cheesecake jam dish for her birthday, she gave it to me and I enjoyed it. It was a bit thick but I love cheesecake so I liked that too. read more

Orange chicken was soggy and the sauce was much hotter than I've had previously. The fried rice was just okay as it tasted heavily salted, and I like salt. The beef and broccoli was average at best - beef was chewy, not tender. Lettuce wraps were on par and that was about it. My husband and I were extremely apprehensive about visiting this location due to its reviews. PF Chang used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but like most chain restaurants, it seemed the quality had gone down over the years at its various locations. Reluctantly we visited on a Saturday around 4:45 pm. Upon arrival the hostess told us they were completely booked with reservations and bar seating only was available. We were disappointed and no seating was available at the bar at the time. While waiting for a bar seat my husband suggests I go on line to see if a reservation was available. I did, and lo and behold they had plenty of reservation Times available, including 5pm! We snag that time and my husband tells the hostess that we just reserved a table on line. How this is possible when she said they had no reservations available is beyond me. She apologizes and adds us to mobile text alerts. Before we could get seated, 2 seats become available at the bar and we choose to sit there. Here is where we meet Ethan the bartender! His energy is extremely welcoming, positive, and a overall complete vibe ! He and his counterpart( he had dreadlocks, I didn't get his name) shake up some delicious margaritas! ( I had 3 lol) we ordered apps which came out extremely fast. Our main entrees were very delicious, hot and fresh. This location restored our faith in P.F. Chang's . Since we didn't have power yesterday, we thought that getting takeout would be a great treat since we love PF Changs. Needless to say, we expected much better. Service was excellent for the online takeout, not a problem there. The Mongolian beef entrees were incredibly overcooked, almost to the point of being burned, but not quite. We had two orders and they were both the same. Almost inedible. The beef was incredibly tough, like chewing on an old shoe. My chicken lo mein was average, but kind of bland. Good portion size but only a few pieces of chicken. The honey chicken and orange chicken were ok, but couldn't really tell the difference between the two. They really tasted the same. Couldn't figure it out until we found the orange slice at the bottom of the chicken. The dumplings and spring rolls were decent. At least we didn't go hungry. Definitely not up to PF Changs usual standards. Very disappointing, especially for over 100 bucks. read more

It was terrible service from the minute we sat down. I was there with my daughter, son, daughter in law and my 6 Month old grandson. We weren't greeted for about 20 minutes and the only reason we were approached was because my daughter went to the Hostess and told her! We ordered our meal at 6:05 and didn't get it until 6:55. I love PF Chang's, but this location is pretty bad. We had 4:45pm reservations on a Saturday and we're seated immediately, however no one greeted us after 15 minutes of waiting. Someone from our party grabbed a manager and finally they let us know the lack of service was due to a shift change at 5pm. You would think they would offer a free appetizer at that point. Our waiter forgot meals, drinks, silverware, got our bills wrong, and spoke so quietly you could barely hear him. The food was just OK. Honestly nothing special and won't be coming back to this location. We shared our horrible experience with the manager and they took off our appetizers and desserts and a drink.
